This is because the laptop comes with Windows 11 Home in S mode, a more secure, lighter version of the Windows 11 Operating System that only allows the downloading of applications from the Microsoft Store. If you try to launch or install an executable or .exe file, the system prevents it.

Also, the air intake for the laptop is at the bottom, and when the laptop is even partially covered, this can affect airflow and proper heat exchange, also contributing to the heat produced internally.
