Is the RAM expandable? If so, what is the max?

Hey, Dan. From an upgradability standpoint, the system RAM or memory is removable, but the max that the system was tested using was what this configuration comes with, 32GB DDR5-5600. This system has been tested by other users that upgraded their system to 64GB, and you shouldn't have an issue doing so yourself, but for disclosure, since Lenovo hasn't tested this for this model, we can't verify if this is accurate.

Hey, Barry. Depending on your setup, you may not need a docking station or hub to make this work. This IdeaPad features a diverse enough selection of ports to support what you're trying to do. For example, if using a wireless keyboard and mouse, they may share a USB transceiver (if not, each transceiver still has a place to plug in) which can plug into one of the two USB-A ports. Then, the external monitor can plug in via the HDMI port on the laptop and the other end of the HDMI cable to the monitor, should that monitor feature an HDMI port (if not, then an adapter to the corresponding video connector would be needed.)
