Hi - Yes, the built-in answering system of the VTech SN5147 can be set to pick up between 2-6 rings.

Here's how you can change the # of rings.
1. Using the cordless handset, press the MENU button.
2. Press the arrow down button to scroll to Answering sys, then press MENU.
3. Press the arrow down button to scroll to Ans Sys setup, then press MENU.
4. Press the arrow down button to scroll to # of rings, then press MENU.
5.Press the arrow up or down to scroll to your desired setting, then press MENU.

Why does it say on the question site that if you have a voice mail with your provider you have to turn off the answering system.? Doesn't the answering system direct the call to voice mail if not answered?

Hi - The answering system of the VTech SN5147 is not capable of forwarding the call to the Voicemail service. It is suggested to turn off the answering machine of the telephone system in order for it not to interfere with the Voicemail service. I'm interested in using these in multiple rooms. How many cameras can be connected to the 5" monitor that this comes with? How many cameras can be connected and used on the app?

Pete - The additional camera for the RM5766-2HD is not sold separately. The baby monitor is not expandable and will only work with the devices it came with. You will be able to view both cameras once paired with the app.

Hi - The VTech IS8251-5 is a 5 handsets telephone system. The telephone base can register up to 5 handsets. You can get the IS8201 accessory handset as a replacement if in case one of the handsets in the system stops functioning.
