If someone calls and has to leave a voicemail, will the voicemail play audibly while they are leaving the voicemail? Or would they be able to record their voicemail privately without people in our lobby hearing it?

Hi - Messages recorded on your Voicemail service will not be announced audibly on the telephone system. The built in answering machine of the VTech CM18445 on the other handset has a call screening feature. When the said feature is set to ON, you will be able to hear the messages via speakerphone while callers are leaving a message on the built in answering machine of the unit.

Hi why I can’t see the movement when I want to look back to the screen I the middle of night to see what happens .. and the night vision is very bad we can’t barely see anything .. we can’t even go back to the movement if pass 4-5 hours ago

Jessi - We are sorry to hear that you are having issues with the VTech RM5764HD. The parent unit is not capable of recording videos. It can only provide real time video feeds. Try resetting the baby unit. Disconnect the power adapter on the baby unit and wait approximately 15 seconds before reinstalling the AC power. If you are still having issues with the unit, you can contact our Customer Support at 1-800-595-9511. We are open from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays.

Is the CM18245 phone considered a digital phone or analog phone? If we have digital phone lines with Verizon, will the CM18445/18245 model phones work? Does each desk set extension 18245 have to be plugged into an ethernet router?

Ellie - The VTech CM series is a digital phone system. The telephone system works with a digital service as long as it uses an RJ11 or RJ14 telephone line ports. Only the console model CM18445 requires connection to the telephone line, while the CM18245 are registered wirelessly to the console.
