Can this phone handle multiple lines? We have 3 so if someone calls it rolls to the next line.
Hi - No, the VTech IS8151-5 is a single line phone. If you are looking for multi-line phone, you may check the model VTech CM18445 which can accommodate up to 4-lines. Will this replace a broken cs6729 handset and link up with the cs6729 base already in use?
Hi - Yes, the compatible accessory cordless handset for the VTech CS6729 is the model VTech CS6709. You will need to register the VTech CS6709 to the main base of the VTech CS6729. Here's the procedure on how to register the handset to the telephone base.
Step 1. Place a non-registered handset in the telephone base. Do not place the handset in the charger.
Step 2. After about 10 seconds, the handset displays "Registering...". When the registration process completes, the handset displays Registered and you will hear a beep.
Please be advised that the VTech CS6729 is expandable up to 5 handsets only.

my vtech 6929 base will not charge or register either handset.Is there a way to fix this or is it time to buy a new one?
Megs - We are sorry to hear that your VTech CS6929 does not work as expected. Make sure that the AC adapter is securely plugged in on both ends. You can also reset the telephone base by disconnecting the AC adapter from the power. Reconnect the power after a minute then test again. If this does not help, please contact our Consumer Sales and Service Center between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday through Friday at 1-800-595-9511.

I was wondering what the range for this handset is?
Ana- The operating range of the VTech CM18045 varies and is dependent on the environmental conditions, the time of use and other interference such as walls, doors, and other obstructions. We recommend you place the main console in an open location for optimum range and better reception with the cordless handsets.

Why am I not seeing the options to log in/password wen I turn my unit on
Hi - You can connect and set up the Wi-Fi connection the the VTech RM5752 parent unit. Here's the procedure how to connect your Wi-Fi:
Step 1. Press MENU when the parent unit is not in use.
Step 2. Press ▼,▲,◄ or ► to choose Wi-Fi icon, then press MENU.
Step 3. Press ▼ or ▲ to choose Change network & pair CAM, then press MENU.
Step 4. Press ▼ or ▲ to choose a password-protected 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network for the viewer, then press MENU.
Step 5. Follow the instruction displayed on the parent unit screen to setup a new viewer network.

Hi - The VTech DS6771-3 does not have an option to lock the built in Answering System. If you are referring to a Voicemail subscription from your telephone service provider which is a separate messaging system. You may contact your telephone service provider if you are referring to your Voicemail subscription to get assistance on how to unlock your voicemail messages.
