Can I put an additional Baby unit in the room next to the current baby unit?
Hi- Yes, you can place and install the VTech DM221-2 in a different room. Make sure that the 2 baby units are not too close to each other to avoid having interference. The actual operating range of the unit varies depending on the environmental conditions and other interferences such as walls, doors, and other obstructions. Thank you! - VTech Support

Hi, my camera will randomly disconnecting from my account. This usually happens when my husband or I are at work and can not connect back to the camera because we are not on the same wifi as the camera. this is very frustrating. what can i do to help fix?
Hi - We are sorry to hear that your VTech RM5752 is not working as expected. Make sure that your Android™ or iOS device is not using a 5 GHz network. Your camera operates on 2.4 GHz only. Connect your Android or iOS device to the 2.4 GHz version of the network that you are using. Like many electronic devices, a reset may resolve the issue. To reset the baby monitor:
Step 1. Unplug the AC power for 1 minute.
Step 2. Turn off the parent unit by pressing the POWER button.
Step 3. Press the pinhole at the back of the parent unit, take a pin and push button.
Step 4. Press the POWER button on the parent unit and wait until they link back up. Reconnect and test.
If this does not help, please contact VTech Customer support for further assistance at 1-800-595-9511. We are open from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM PST, Mondays through Fridays. When calling, please have your model number handy: RM5752.

Hi- The VTech CS6114 is designed without speaker. We recommend looking for the models CS5119 and CS6919 which has a speakerphone feature that you are looking for.

Does this phone have lots of volume?
TJ - Yes, the listening volume of the VTech IS8151-5 is adjustable. The cordless handset earpiece and the speakerphone volume setting can be set from 1 to 6 and speakerphone. And the telephone base's speakerphone volume setting is from level 1 to 8.
To adjust the listening volume of the cordless handset while you are on a call, press the ▲VOLUME▼. Press the +VOL- on the telephone base to adjust its speakerphone setting while on a call.
Please be advised that the listening volume of the cordless handset and telephone base are independent in each unit.

Ever since setting up the unit, our WiFi is constantly going out, ie dropped calls, streaming issues, etc. We never had issues before. Thanks ☺️

We recommend to check with your internet service provider regarding the issue on your internet connection going out. You may also try doing a simple reset that might resolve the issue. Will the VTech IS8151-5 base station operate during a power outage and the backup batteries are depleted if connected to a landline?
Hi - Yes, the VTech IS8151-5 does have battery backup mode. If the battery is fully charged, it can supply approximately 1-2 hours of power to the phone base. However, this will still depend on the usage of the phone and age of the battery.
