Will this device stream media (music, photos, and videos) that are stored on my computers hard drive?

The BD-C5500 should offer the ability to stream content from a DLNA enabled device (like some PCs and even cell phones) through the AllShare feature.

c8000 settings

hello, I have the c8000 and i am wondering what the best picture settings are? At times the motion seems delayed just a bit, how do I get the smoothest most natural looking picture for motion? also what settings can I choose to get the clearest picture? Ive tried turning off the motion plus, tried custom etc. Honestly the c7000 I just returned had tbe best pic quality when it came to picture lag.

Although the Samsung TVs offer a variety of calibration options (Brightness, Color, Tint, ETC. ), unfortunately Samsung cannot suggest any specific calibration numbers since every calibration has to be done based on the preferences of the customer performing the low level calibration.
Perhaps other users on this forum may be able to better help you out.

Do any of the Samsung 55 LCD/LED 3D's have volume control leveling?

We want to keep the sound volume constant - no volume increase during ads.

As a matter of fact, all of the Samsung LED TVs will offer Sound Leveling.

will this player play DVDs from a different region

The BD-P6800 will support Region A for Blu-Ray, and Region 1 for DVD.

Does this model have the Smart TV feature?

If not, is it able to connect to the internet and get to any internet page or only pre-loaded content such as Netflix, blockbuster, etc?

Although the BD-C6900 does offer Samsung Apps (including Netflix), it does not offer Smart TV.

will the built in wireless serve the other home computers if set up correctly?

The Samsung BD players with Built-in WiFi will not have the ability to share a connection. The WiFi is only used to connect the BD player to a home network to allow the device to access internet content.

Can I stream from ESPN3 with the full internet browser?

I understand that this TV has a "full" internet browser. Will I be able to access streaming content from other sites, like ESPN3, Hulu, or ustream, or other Flash type streams?

From the current information, it seems that the UN55D8000 will have limited Flash playback capabilities. With that said, technically, you should be able to access these sites from the TV's built in browser. The UN55D8000 also offer Samsung Apps with many apps like hulu+ for your enjoyment. Does the D8000 not have PIP, and the D7000 has it?

From the available information, the D5500 and higher Samsung LED TVs should have PIP, including the D8000.

Does the UN55D8000 come with 2 Pairs of 3D Rechargeable Glasses?

I've seen advertised on other websites (i.e. Amazon) that this particular TV comes with 2 Pair of 3D Rechargeable Glasses. I talked to Samsung and they confirmed that all D8000 series come with 3D Glasses, but couldn't confirm the Model #. Can you confirm that it does indeed come with 2 Pair of glasses (in the box) and the Model # of the glasses that come with them?

SSG-3100GB (which are not rechargeable)
SSG-3300GR
SSG-3300CR
SSG-3700CR

Although at this time I do not have the exact model number for the glasses that are included with the D8000, I would have to say that most likely, it will be the non-rechargeable SSG-3100GB.
