Can surround sound speakers be hooked up to the player?

I was thinking about purchasing some speakers, but I wanted to know if they will even be able to be hooked up to the player

Although the BD-C6900 is not a home theater receiver, and therefore speakers cannot be connected directly to it, Samsung does offer the HT-C6900 which offers a similar BD player with the functionality of a receiver (speakers are included and cannot be swapped out).

Is this a dvd-rw capacity?? Can it record series on TV?

Unfortunately, it seems that the DVD-C350 will not play DVD-RWs nor can it record onto said media.

Region Free?

Is this dvd player, region free? Meaning can it play dvds from any country?

If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs).

netflix?

can i run and stream netflix through this device?

Although the Samsung Blu-Ray players offer Netflix streaming, the DVD-C350 and all other DVD players will not.

Can I use this with an old TV/vcr combination that is not digital?

I simply just want to have a dvd player to be able to use with an old tv that has an enclosed vcr (all in one) for playing dvds only - I want to put it in my workout room and use for yoga and workout dvds.

It's in good shape but is not digital and is not hooked up to comcast. It's just a stand alone and I still use it for videos .. It's about 10 years old.

You should be able to connect the C350 to your non-HD TV and play all of your DVDs if the TV offers at least a composite (RCA) connection.

HD compatibility

I only want to play VCRs and DVDs. Can I use this unit with a non-HD compatible TV? Also, is there any limit on the age or type of VCRs or DVDs it will play.?

You should be able to connect the V9800 to your non-HD TV and play all of your DVDs and VHS's (regardless of age).

or does it have th hi gloss appearance. There are a few windows in the room where the tv is going. Is the screen a typical hi glare screen?
