Can you use a Sanus VLL10-B1 low profile mount with this tv? The M8 screws included with the mount are too short or too long.

Page 6 of the owner's manual says the 55" model doesn't comply with VESA specifications.

As long as the wall mount offers a bracket size of 400mm x 400mm and a screw size of Short M8, it should fit the UN55D8000.

If it says 'built-in wireless connection' does that mean I will be able to connect it to my home wireless internet and connect to NetFlix?

Thus, I will not need a wireless adapter.

You are correct, since the BD-C6900 offers built in WiFi, you will be able to immediately connect to a WiFi Home Network to access Samsung Apps.

What is the difference between the UN55D7000 and the UN55D8000

From the current information, the D7000 and the D8000 will offer the same features, except that the D8000 will offer Micro Dimming Plus and the 3D glasses included in the box.

If you purchase the unit within the US, it will only have support for All Region and Region 1 DVDs ("All Region" DVDs refers to DVDs that are marked as region 0 or "Region All". This does not mean the player can play every regions’ DVDs), and Region "A" Blu-Rays.

Is this 3d?

The Samsung website shows the model bd-c6500 is a 3d blueray player, but the one on bestbuy is not. Is this a different model or is there some reason it is labelled that way?

I'm sorry for the confusion. The BD-C6500 is not a 3D BD player.

I got one of this samsung refurbish blue ray on November 2010 and it stop working, If I take it to Best Buy can they help me fix it??

Is the samsung remote rmc30c2 compatible with the samsung un55d8000y tv

i would like to use this remote with this tv and want to know will i have full funchionality when used with that tv

Although technically, the rmc30c2 should be compatible with the UN55D8000, not all the features, like screen share, will be compatible (the RMC30C2 is a 2010 remote designed specifically to work with select 2010 "C" model TVs). That said, the UN55D8000 will come included with a QWERTY remote control.

What is HDMI ?

Do I need to purchase it seperately? Whay is the cost?

HDMI stands for High Definition Multimedia Interface, which is a fancy word for the cable that you connect the Blu-ray player to your television. HDMI is a pure digital cable, which means that the picture is 100% digital and that no picture quality is lost in the transfer between the source (The Blu-Ray player, for instance) and a television display.

HDMI cables can range in price, and would be best addressed by retail salesperson.
