I have a Samsung RS263 and need a replacement filter. What and where can I buy this? I am located in zip code 02186 (South Shore, Boston)
I'm sorry to say that the model number for the refrigerator that you provided is only a portion of the units actual model number. However from the information I have there are several units with that beginning model number that this water filter fits. In order to find a store that is close to you that sells this filter, press the "Store Pickup: Check Stores" Link on the products front page. That should allow you to fine a store that has the filter in stock that is close to your zip code.

can the pedestal be used if the dryer is vented through the floor?
Can the pedestal be used if the dryer is vented through the floor? I would like ot have a near-zero clearance at the rear of the machine.
Unless you cut the top of the pedestal, I don't think this will be possible. I also wouldn't suggest modifying the pedestal in any way, since that may jeopardize the stability of the entire unit.

Does Samsung make a 14-inch laundry pedestal?
We have clearance for only 14 inches for our new washer and dryer.
Regrettably, as of right now, Samsung only produces 15" laundry pedestals. However the actual height of the washer/dryer units can be adjusted by the pegs at the bottom of the unit, so this may still fit into your space. I would say measure the unit from the bottom of the actual unit and not from the floor and add the pedestal height. The unit should sit flush on top of the pedestal which would hopefully cut an inch from the entire setup.

The main safety concern is that you follow all the instructions for proper installation of the Units onto the pedestals. Make sure that they are properly and tightly secured on the top of the pedestal, ensuring that when the units are operating, they do not excessively vibrate.

Is there a headphone jack on this TV?
I wanted to know if there was a headphone jack to hookup some small speakers or headphones.
Unfortunately there is not a headphone jack on this unit. However this does not mean you can not use headphones with the LN40B530. All you would need is a RCA(red and white tipped cables) to 3.5mm head phone jack converter cable. This way you can plug in the converter cable into the TV’s audio out output plugs along the rear of the set and have your headphone connection.
