WIFI CONNECTION

after i connect throgh an open wifi network, it still prompts me for a password. is there a way to get free wifi?

If a password is being asked of from the WiFi connection, you will need to contact the WiFi owner for connection information. That said, if you are trying to connect to your own WiFi system, you may have a password enabled on your wireless router.

compare to apple macbook air or macbook pro

DO any of the Google Chromebooks compare with either the Apple Macbook AIr or Macbook Pro & If so, how?
Basically am trying to decide whether to buy Chromebook or Apple for all around use at home & on the go as my only computer.

Although I cannot offer a comparison between a Samsung/Google product and a competitor's product, I can say that the Chromebook will offer the Google Chrome OS, 16GB of built in flash memory with access to Google Drive (cloud based storage) and access to thousands of Chrome Apps that will offer you the productivity you would require from a laptop. I'm not sure I understand your question. The Chromebook will indeed have access to all of the same webpages that a regular PC can access, plus it will be compatible with almost all USB devices (like flashdrives and some cameras and cell phones). Is this tv Internet ready?

Although the UN40EH5000 does not offer Smart features, like Samsung Apps (Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, etc.), web browser or built-in WiFi; it can display App content from a 2010-13 Samsung BD player or other internet capable device (the blu-ray player/internet capable device will handle the Internet content processing, while the TV displays the content. Similar to how a monitor will display the PC’s video signal).
