Connecting to Directv

I connected to Directv, but can't get a picture, are there any special cords needed to connect, or how do I get it to work?
I’m sorry you are having an issue with your device. Although with the information you have provided I do not have a solution for you; contacting the Geek Squad or Samsung Support (refer to your device's manual for more information or visit Samsung's website) would be your best next course of action.

Samsung - 46" Class (45-9/10" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV
Samsung - 46" Class (45-9/10" Diag.) - LED - 1080p - HDTV
Samsung UN46EH5000FXZA LED HDTV: Enjoy your favorite TV shows, movies and more with this Samsung LED HDTV that features Wide Color Enhancer Plus and Clear Motion Rate technologies for clear images with intense picture detail.

What does120 technology mean for a TV with only a 60Hz refresh rate?

It appears you are using a misleading title to imply a "looks like" 120Hz when it is not.
I'm sorry for the confusion, but the UN46EH5000 actually offers a 60Hz panel with a Clear Motion Rate of 120. CMR is Samsung's more comprehensive and accurate measure for TV motion clarity, with a higher number meaning a higher level of motion and image clarity. As a company, Samsung does not feel that the Hz of a panel alone is a completely accurate measure of the motion quality that can be produced by the Samsung LED TVs. Thus, Samsung uses three key points to help produce world-class motion clarity:

* Panel refresh rate: Samsung's screen refresh rate significantly improves motion detail and resolution by sampling the image more frequently, leading to smoother, more fluid movement.
* Image processor: Samsung's proprietary image processing technology is faster and more responsive than conventional image processors, as it interpolates intermediate frames to smooth out the image.
* Backlight technology: Samsung's backlight regulates output precisely in synchronization with the screen refresh to lessen the time it is lit, reducing ghosting and motion blur.

The Clear Motion Rate represents all of these features working in harmony to produce stunning motion clarity. Please note, the CMR rating is not a refresh rate. This means that the CMR of this set is 120, but it does not mean that it supports 120Hz.

What kind of latches are on the door of this microwave - plastic hook type or ?

Wonder what kind of latches are on the door of this microwave? There are 2 types that I have seen - big plastic hook shape and the other is flat with hole in middle?
Thanks for the question. Please see the attached photo of the plastic hook style of latch on the door of the SMH1622S microwave.

Samsung - Wireless Adapter
Samsung - Wireless Adapter
Connect your Samsung TV, Blu-ray Disc player or home entertainment system to your existing wireless network with this WIS12ABGNX adapter that features AllShare technology for wide-ranging compatibility.

WIS12ABGNX verses WIS09ABGN

I have a UN40D6000SFXZA that appears to be compatible with both the WIS12ABGNX and WIS09ABGN. My question is there any features/functionality that one device offers over the other?
Also is there any plans to introduce a wireless AC version in the near future?
The Linkstick actually only allows the TV to connect to a wireless network and will not add any additional features to the TV. That said, you can use either of these Linksticks and still get the same connectivity to a wireless network. Additionally, I do not have any information on a wireless AC unit at this time.

Can i connect my 10 yr old direct tv system without different cables

I just need to buy a new tv. I can't afford to upgade to HD so I wanted to know if this will work
Due to the nature of the cross compatible connectors (HDMI, Composite(RCA yellow/red/white), Component(red/green/blue)), you will be more than able to connect any device that offers the aforementioned connections to the Samsung TVs, regardless of manufacturer. Unfortunately, since I do not know all of the connections offered by all of the different devices on the market, you will have to refer to your devices’ manual to find out which connection is best to use with this Samsung TV. There are no special converters required. Aforementioned Cables will be required for normal operation.

For your reference, the UN32EH4003 offers the following connections:
HDMI: 2
Component: 1
Composite (AV): 1
USB 2.0: 1
RF In: 1

can you hook up a DVD player with out the hdmi ports

I have read several "post" on different sites that state this model has componet jacks and some say no
The UN32EH4003 will offer a combination Composite/Component input, which will allow you to connect both Component and RCA cables directly into the TV.
