Do you need an internet connection to use the maps function? Can it be used to navigate while driving?

The Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 will in fact offer GPS and you will not necessarily need an internet connection to use navigation; however, a WiFi internet connection must first be made in order for the GPS to download maps to the tab itself.

can you access facebook for desktop or will it only run the mobile version

Although you will have access to the Facebook app, you should also be able to access the Facebook main webpage using the Tab 2's browser.

External dvd player for Note 10.1

I ride the bus a lot and since you cant, as far as my knowledge, you cant preload netflix. So i was wondering if there is a dvd player you could hook to my note 10.1 to play movies?

Although USB DVD players will not be compatible with the Note 10.1, you can purchase and download your media content from the Google Play Store or you can upload saved content from your PC to the Note using the included USB cable before hand.

Folders and Subfolders

If I transfer folders and subfolders from my PC will they appear on the Samsung Tablet? Also, can I create folders and subfolders on the tablet?

When transferring files and folders, the meta data is stored on the files or the file's actual names will remain the same. The Tab 2 does not change the name or format of the files when transferring to the tablet from a PC. You will also be able to create folders and sub-folders on the Tab directly.

File Names

When I transfer files and folders from my PC will the file names be attached? Also, will photos transferred from Windows Live Photo have the file names and people/location tags attached?
