Is their a headphone jack on the TV?

Unfortunately, headphone jacks are not available on this unit; however you can still connect headphones to this unit with a third party headphone device (either through RCA, 3.5mm jack or Optical). Since the audio outputs on this unit are a fixed pass through type of connection, you would need an intermediary device to control the volume, since the TV does not have control of the volume coming out of the analogue and digital audio outputs. Additionally, the Samsung TVs will not offer direct wireless connectivity to wireless capable headphones.

Can I connect headphones to the bar? Does it have a headphone jack?

This model has 2 optical inputs and a 3.5mm audio input jack, but there is not a headphone jack on this model.

HDMI Inputs

This unit has two HDMI Inputs. Would one of those be for my cable box and the other for another device like my HDMI output from laptop?

You can use the player to increase the number of devices you can connect to your TV by connecting up to two external devices to the HDMI IN ports on the back of the player.

For instance, one could be a Set Top Box, or a Game Console or Camcorder.

For an opening that is 23 1/2 inches wide, I would have to say the largest TV you can fit in there would be the 22" UN22D5003. the 26" models are an inch to wide for you application and the 32" model will not fit at all.

Audio/Video Sync With Netflix

Is Samsung ever going to fix the audio/video sync with Netflix or will we have to watch mouths move with voice follow on forever?

There aren't currently any known problems with audio and video syncing on this model. If you have sync issues, it may be due to a delay if you're using a stereo receiver or other device that has a digital delay or sync feature. Try contacting the Geek Squad or Samsung directly for technical assistance. If there is a settings issue that is causing this, it may be identified by having your Home Theater system inspected.
