Can you watch a video stored on a USB stick?

Is there an offline media player to watch movies, for example, stored on a USB thumb drive when not connected to the Internet?

You most certainly can! As long as you have the saved media on a flash drive or on the Chromebook's own SSD, you will be able to access those files while the Laptop is offline.

Is the solid state hard drive upgradeable?

Can I switch out the 16 gb ssd drive and put a 128gb ssd in?

From the available information, the Hardware on the Chromebook XE303C12-A01US cannot be replaced or upgraded.

It works with microsoft office ?!?

when I added this to my cart, it suggested I "DO MORE WITH YOUR PURCHASE" and offered to sell me a copy of Office 2010 - WOW the version they sell at Best Buy works with Microsoft Office !!

I'm very sorry for the confusion, but the Chromebooks will actually not work with any version of MS Office. This just seems to be a mistake in the assortment system.

I purchased a couple computers from BEST BUY and found out AFTER the purchase that the computer models where modified (cheaper less features) for Best Buy ONLY. I was very upset about this and in both cases I had to return the merchandise. I AM VERY LEARY BUYING ANYTHING FROM BEST BUY AS THE SAME MODEL NUMBER MAY NOT REALLY BE THE SAME MODEL NUMBER. There is typically a small print on the box that is easy to miss and/or a suffix to the model number no one at the store knows what it is. I FOUND OUT THE HARD WAY.

I'm very sorry, but since I do not have access to Best Buy's inventory system, I can neither confirm or deny this. However, I can say that more often then not, Cell Phones are customized by the carrier and not by the retail outlet. From what it looks like, since this is a "Unlocked" phone, it should not have any of the carrier apps or programs preloaded on it.

Does this tv have dual voltage? If not, which range of samsung TV have dual voltage?

All UN, PN and LN units (North American Units) will only have support for ATSC/QAM broadcasting systems and NA power systems. Since the NA TVs will not accept a PAL signal or Non-NA voltages, you will not only need a converter for the broadcast, but also for the power if you would like to use the TV in a PAL country or in a different power environment. Unfortunately, I will not be able to recommend a specific converter since Samsung cannot offer support for products we do not manufacture.

can DVD's from UK be played on this player?

It would depend on each individual DVD, and which 'flags' it has as far as allowable region codes. Some discs have an open (or no) region code requirement, so it could be played on any player worldwide.

The other factor would be is if the movie is available in PAL (which is a European format) or NTSC (which is the American format).
