how is this unit different than BDC65000XAA? Alsodoes it have an ethernet port?

I'm sorry for the confusion. These two models are actually the same units. The last few characters in the model number are used by Samsung for shipping and tracking purposes mainly and are sometimes used by retailers to better track their own inventory. Very rarely do these characters mean that the units offer different features or sizes. Also the C6500 does offer a ethernet port for hard wiring the unit.

Is this one capable of Hulu?

Hulus site just says BD-C6900, but there are two models with that model number, this one is less pricey, so want to know if it is capable of Hulu.

There should be no difference between the BD-C6900's. In this case, I believe that the confusion stems from this particular model stating it is refurbished; however, this BD-C6900 will have all the same features as the new in box BD-C6900s offer.

Does this or any blu-ray unit only work on hdtv's, or will it work on regular color tv's also?

The Blu-Ray players will work on both SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) televisions, and can be connected through various inputs, like composite, component or HDMI.

as long as i have a wireless modem will this item work? or do i need other equipment?

The wireless connector that allows the unit to be Wi-Fi is not included with this model. It can be purchased separately at BestBuy.com. Look for the WIS09ABGN LinkStick, which will allow the player to connect wirelessly with your router or access point.

I am extremely confused with the two options! Which TV set offers the best over all experience? Plasma Or LED?

Although deciding which technology is better is purely subjective and based on your own tastes, I can arm you with the knowledge you need to make the right choice. Both provide an excellent HD picture, offer stunning arrays of colors, and of course, Samsung’s exclusive technologies which allow you to get the most out of either panel.

LED is relatively new on the market, and uses specialized versions of the LED lights that have been used for years. It allows panels to be lit either from behind the panel (replacing the CCFLs with LEDs), or from the side using an efficient energy friendly infrastructure that emits light evenly behind the panel in order to illuminate the entire LCD panel equally, called EDGE-LED. EDGE-LED Technology has a few additional benefits in that the design of the LED panel can be slimmer than traditional LCD panels and reduces energy consumption.

Plasma Televisions operate using a combination of gas and glass to illuminate the individual pixels, or light sections, within the screen. DOES THE TV HAVE TIMER ALARM?

Can you turn on the TV on like an alarm? Can you turn it off on a specific schedule?

As a matter of fact, the PN58C8000 does come with both an on/off timer and a sleep timer. In order to access the timer, you will want to head into the TV's menu, then into the setup sub-menu. Once there head into the time option, and you should see the timer setup. Also you can press the "Tools" button on your remote to bring up the mini menu where you can easily select your timer settings.
