Is a higher Impedance better for listening from a mobile device?

Which is better, 24ohms or 32ohms?
Impedance is not a measure of how good a headphone is, but rather a measure of how much electrical resistance there is before the music gets to your ears. Portable devices with batteries have a finite amount of power to work with, so it is best that they are paired with low impedance headphones (the lower the ohms, the better the match). Higher impedance headphones are great for home audio listening or aircraft in-line entertainment consoles.

can i use these as a personal ear monitor?

I play bass live. can i use these as a monitor?
Hello-

The isolation is pretty good on the HD 201, but for a little bit more money you will get better results from the HD 205-II, as it has better isolation for stage use. This is a decent alternative, however.

Do these headphones leak sound at all?

Nothing bugs me more then when headphones leak sound, even the slightest bit of sound leakage annoys the heck out of me. Help please.
Hello- these headphones do not leak sound at all. Because of the sealed design, it traps sound in, and keeps ambient noise out.

Can you listen to these headphones without putting a battery in them?

I would like to know if they are usable without a battery even tho you need a battery to be able to use the sound isolation, but I would want to still be able to listen to the headphones if the battery power ran out.

Do the Sennheiser HD201 come with a cord saver/adjuster?

The HD 201 does not come with a cord winder. The HD 202 in fact does.

Hey, I just bought a Discover DJ by Ion Audio and I was wondering if these Sennheiser Headphones (HD201) are good for DJing.
The HD 201 are EXCELLENT for DJ work and represent a great value.

Hello- This headphone simply plugs into any available 1/8" (3.5mm) headphone plug. Most TV's have them.

Is the head band extendable to fit all head size?

The headband is fully adjustable. I have yet to see a head that it will not fit. (it fits every size head)

Are these headphones foldable for easy storage? If not, do you know of any sennheiser over ear headphones that are foldable?
