We now manufacture a wireless headphone that sounds truly wired, for use with your laptop or TV, called the RS 170. It has surround simulation and blocks ambient noise. For a wired alternative, there are several price points available. We do not offer a wired set with surround simulation but these models offer aggressive noise isolation: HD 25-1 II, HD 25 SP-II, HD 280, HD 380, PXC 350, PXC 450.

How durable are these?

I am looking to replace my old skullcandy headphones , which broke on me from simple daily use. Do these seem sturdy enough to last? And if they DO break, am i covered by the warranty?

Hello-

These were built for professional use in the field in the most strenuous environments; film studios, broadcast trucks, recording studios, live sporting events and so on. These environments are extremely tough on equipment, however, the HD 280 was designed to withstand that abuse. It is extremely durable and has totally replaceable cables and padding for a long operating life (no more throwing away a headphone because there are no parts for it). The warranty is 2 years.

Wich ones to buy

I am looking to buy a pair of headphones to use with my ipod and laptop. I was looking at the HD 280 but reading the quistions they are more for studio and mixing. What would be the best pair to buy for my use.

Do all headphone products include cord replacement?

As a convicted headphone abuser I was pleasantly surprised to discover with the SD595 took into form what I believe most headphone users suffer from which is cord fatigue which ultimately makes a pair of headphones paperweights. Do all of your headphone products include a way to replace the cord like the 595? Which again.. Brilliant!

Most of our headphones indeed have a replaceable cable, however, most portable models do not. The related products pictured, HD 201, HD 238, OMX 60 and PC 350, also do not. The detachable cable is listed in the product spec on the manufacturer's website as well.

This mic does not have an on/off switch. Any Sennheiser hand-held mic with the designation of "-S" has a switch. Example: "e815-S"

What amp could I use to power these up?

I'm very new to this stuff and I'm not sure if these will work on my soundcard. I have the Behringer AMP800 for headphones and was wondering if this was enough to power it, or even if it works with the microphone of the PC350.

You will not need an amplifier to start gaming with these right out of the box. The microphone plugs into the soundcard of your PC and does not interface with the Behringer headphone amp. You can always add a headphone amp later if you want more gain or additional control over volume, but one is not required in most circumstances where you have a decent sound card.
