How well would these work with glasses?

I wear glasses and wonder if these specifically, and these over ear headphones in general will work for me?

Thank you for your question. The Sennheiser HD449 headphones have ear cushions and an ear cushion headband with space in-between the band and the ear cushion. I would not see a problem with these headphones and glasses of any kind. Best Buy does offer an extended return policy during the holidays.

How practical are these for everyday on the go use?

I wanted to get a pair of beats studios but they are way to much. So I thought going with a different brand might solve that problem. There is a few things that look strange to me with these headphones. 1 is that they have a 3m cord. That is way too long to be running around with. Do they sell any shorter cables that will fit with the locking thing these headphones have? And do they sell cords that don't need an adapter to work with an iPod. They just don't seem real consumer/average user focused. Are they more for professional use? Lastly, some people has complained about sound leakage. I don't listen to music very loud, the highest I have ever gone on my earbuds is 50%. Are they going to leak that bad that the person next to me will be able to hear my music. Sorry for a long question but I'm new to the headphone market and don't understand it all. Also if there is another set of headphones that are like the beats but don't cost as much let me know. This is the closest thing I could find. Thanks

Thank you for your question. The Sennheiser HD518 headphone is Open Aire. Open Aire is a technology that was invented by Sennheiser in 1968. Open aire gives sound waves additional space to expand and contract, Translation - it mimics your hi-fi speakers and creates a wider sound stage. The Sennheiser HD518 is considered a headphone for hi-fi, which is why there is a long cable. We don't currently have a shorter cable option, but one is coming soon. It sounds like you are looking for a closed headphone (no sound leakage). Sennheiser has some great products at Best Buy such as the HD439 and HD428S. Both of these headphones are have great sound at a great value. You can also check out other headphone options on our website www.sennheiserusa.com.

Have a MacBook Pro. Will this fit it? Have a Auvio and it came apart in a short period of time.

Thank you for your question. The HDR160 is the Wireless headphone only. You would need the RS160 system which includes the transmitter with the headset in order to make it work. To answer your question you can use the RS160 with your phone, however, you will need to plug the transmitter into the headphone jack on your phone, so it would not be the cleanest solution. Sennheiser does sell wireless mobile devices (MM series), which would be much better for this application, and you can still answer calls. You can check out these solutions on the Best Buy or Sennheiser website.
