About the headphone warranty

I saw that for Sennheiser - CX 215 Earphone - Red, the standard warranty is 2 years. Does that mean no matter what happens with the problem, even if it is broken by me, I can still get it repaired for free in two years? As well, I saw a service called "2-Year Protection Plan", what is that? Is it the same as the 2-year-warranty?

Hello- The 2 year warranty covers parts and labor for any manufacturer's defects. Any protection plans offered by Best Buy are managed by Best Buy.

The manufacturer's warranty is a global 2 year warranty against defects.

Hello- The HD 518 has an older brother in a "cream" color that is a bit closer to gold than the black of the HD 518. That model is called HD 598.

Hello - Thanks for writing. The RS 120 transmitter can only charge the RS 120. The RS 170 can only be charged by the RS 170 or RS 180.

Can you adjust the volume different for the right ear and the left ear?

Hello - You can use an adapter to convert the 1/8" male plug into a dual RCA male set of plugs. Best Buy carries this adapter for a few dollars. Alternatively you can get an RS 170.

Noise Cancellation at Workplace

I really need a excellent Noice cancellation at my workplace. The workplace gets very noisy with my co-workers talking all the time. I need a headphone which will cut off the outside noise. Please Help!

Hello - The PX 360 is a good choice for noise isolation. You can take it up a notch by adding a noise cancelling circuit, such as the MM 550-X. The PXC 450 is also an office favorite. Here is a helpful video (attached below).

How do these handle genres other then dub, dance, etc?

I'm an avid listener to soundtracks, rock, alternate, and other different genres and I was wondering if these phones would work well within those contexts. I do like more bass, but I'm just making sure that there won't be weird distortion or that they'd be horribly unbalanced if there used for something other than r&b.

Hello- These are perfect headphones for these genres. The bass has impact and punch but is not distorted or over-bloated or slow. You will love them :)
