Amazing earbuds with ANC and Immersive Audio!

Coming from the Bose QC35 Headphones, followed by the Bose QC Earbuds, I was really excited when these were announced. Coming from the first gen earbuds, the form factor on these is closer to the 2nd gen. They sit great in the ear and there are multiple tips included from L to Small to fit a wide range of ears. Once you think you have the fit you want, you can run the check in the app to make sure you have a good seal. These are very lightweight and extremely comfortable to wear for hours at a time. The fin that runs along one edge helps stabilize them and keep them firmly in place without being obtrusive.
Of course, Bose is legendary for the ANC and these live up to the reputation. They are highly effective at blocking outside noise in full ANC mode, but you can adjust how much ANC you want in the app. Going for walks or doing yard work, it's helpful to not completely drown out the world. It's just nice to have full control over what you want out of your headphones. And the sound is incredible! Signature lows that Bose is known for, but clear and precise highs and mids make these great for listening to all types of music. You can also adjust the EQ or rely on the headphones to use their algorhythm to give you the perfect audio experience.
Speaking of sound, let's talk about Immersive Audio. You can leave this off, put it in Still mode or let it move with you. It widens the sound stage and is a great new feature. Listening to music or watching movies and hearing the sound move as you move your head is really cool and adds a whole new dimension to listening. Phone calls were clear on both ends and a big improvement from my 1st gen buds.
Overall, I have zero complaints about these earbuds. They have a premium design and feel with killer sound quality (audio and phone). ANC is outstanding as always with Bose and the case is a great size and shape for throwing it into a backpack, purse or even your front pocket. You get 6hrs on full charge with ANC active (4hrs if using Immersive Audio) and the case holds 3 full charges. 20min gets you 2hrs worth of listening time. These are going to go down as one of the best earbuds of 2023, if not the best.
I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of earbuds with ANC. Is it worth upgrading if you already have the Bose QC Earbuds 2? That's up to you and your wallet. There's definitely some upgrades here and the immersive audio experience is amazing. Coming from the Gen 1 earbuds, this is a big upgrade and I would say it's definitely worth it!

First of all, this thing is massive! If you're looking for a small, portable speaker, this probably isn't for you. However, for things like going to the beach, hanging by the pool, tailgating or having a party outdoors, this is amazing! Easy to pair and setup using NFC and this thing gets LOUD! It also learns the room it's in and adjusts the speaker to maximize the acoustics of the surroundings. There's also an outdoor boost mode, but I found under most circumstances that wasn't needed and it took away some of the bass.
The clarity and richness of the sound is impressive for a portable speaker. UE Boom products are consistently rated at the top for their sound quality and the Epic Boom is the same, just louder with more bass. It's got a strap on the back that tucks away but also makes it easy to carry around. The fact that this is waterproof and produces this kind of sound is remarkable. It also makes it an easy purchase if you spend a lot of time outdoors because it can withstand falling in water (it floats btw), dirt, sand, spilled drinks, being dropped, etc. It's built to last!
Overall, highly recommend this for anyone that wants a high quality speaker they can take outdoors without worrying about it. If you want stereo, buy 2 and you can pair them! Just an overall great job by UE with the design and function!

I was skeptical at first that this would be any different than just using normal clippers, but I was so wrong! The design, size, and materials make a huge difference in comfort and control when you're working in a sensitive area. The flashlight is a nice touch but I don't know how much it came into play in a well lit bathroom.
This kit comes with the Lawnmower and multiple attachments including a fixed setting guard and 2 adjustable ones. There's also a separate head attachment with a foil shaver and edge trimmer. And don't forget the soothing cream for after the job is done!
I've debated getting one of these for a while and now I can honestly say that they are worth the hype and the price. Oh, and something that seems to be rarer and rarer these days, there was a charging cable AND a plug in the box! It charges via USB-C, like most devices these days so if you're traveling you should be able to top off the battery without having to carry an extra cable.
I definitely recommend this and wish I had got one sooner!

Like many others, I have been using the Nest Secure system for years and got the email this Spring that support was being discontinued in 2024. I was looking for an alternative because the proposed ADT system wasn't what I wanted with the extra costs involved. I was heavily looking at SimpliSafe and after installing this system, I know why it's so highly rated.
Setup out of box is incredibly simple. You're connecting the base station to the wi-fi and then everything connects to that. It needs to be centrally placed but not necessarily out in the open if you don't want it to be. Just don't put it on the floor. Once the base station was updated and running, pairing each device was incredibly simple and quick.
After a few weeks, I have very few qualms with this system as a self monitoring option. Everything works and the app is intuitive with plenty of options for notifications and what's recorded. There are plans if you want professional monitoring or recording but I'm not interested in those.
I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a simple and effective security system that doesn't require monthly costs or a subscription. This is a great setup!

Great tablet but not a Nest Hub Max replacement

Having been in the Google/Nest/Pixel ecosystem since the beginning, I can honestly say this is the best Android tablet that has been released to date. Setup was as simple as logging in and copying apps from my existing account. But the real star of the show here is how multiple people can have their accounts and apps on the tablet. All of your information and apps are locked to your profile only, so there's no privacy issues as long as you make sure to lock it before giving it to the next person. That makes this tablet perfect for a household because it can be shared, saving you money on multiple tablets.
The overall feel of the tablet is lightweight and it has some texture on the back so it's not slippery. The bezels feel less intrusive than prior attempts by Google and are just big enough to give you something to hold onto comfortably. The speaker dock is a nice touch, although the sound is comparable to the smaller Nest Hub, which is fine for a small room or office but nothing amazing.
The reason I was so excited about this when it was announced is I was hoping it would be a replacement for our Nest Hub Max. I remember when that came out I commented that if the screen would detach like a tablet and have the speaker as a base, it would be amazing. Unfortunately, the camera on the tablet can not be used as a Nest Security Cam when it's in dock mode. The speaker is also not as good as the Hub Max and unless the tablet is docked, the speaker has no ability to stream music or act as an assistant. I'd be willing to pay a little more for a better speaker and the ability to use it like the Hub Max when docked. If Google is reading this, maybe a Pixel Tablet Pro that accomplishes that?
Overall, this tablet is great. Google hit a home run. Nest Hub functionality would be a grand slam. But I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an Android tablet, especially if you want something everyone in the house can use while keeping all your information compartmentalized.

The great thing about the PS5 that Sony recognized in advance, is that modern games require a serious amount of memory and storage space. You could easily swap out the internal memory on a PS4 but it would void the warranty. With the PS5, you can access an expansion slot without having to open up the internals and thereby voiding the warranty. They kept the overall cost low by leaving the internal memory at 1TB but have the accessible expansion slot to expand it further if you need it.
As I mentioned, this was super easy to install. There are videos on YouTube that show you how to do it if you're not sure. You'll need to shut down the PS5, lay it upside down on a flat surface, and carefully pull the back trim off. There's one screw to remove to access the expansion port. Plug the memory in, adjust the small screw up to hold it in place (there are various spots depending on the size of the memory). Notice the semi-circle in the pictures? That's where the screw goes. Then just cover it back up, replace the screw, snap the trim back on, and fire it up. You should see a notice about the new memory. You'll need to run a format and then you're all set to go!
This is a great addition to my PS5 and I am amazed at how easy Sony and WD have made the PS5 and this SSD card to install and get setup. If you're looking to expand your console's storage, this is the one to get! Keep an eye out for sales during the year and enjoy!

I've been enjoying this new laptop from Asus! It's got a great screen, the processor is fast and the shell is aluminum, meaning you don't have to worry as much throwing it in a bag or luggage. Makes me feel more comfortable traveling with it when my luggage gets banged around vs a plastic shell. The laptop is thin and lightweight overall, but you will notice that it's heavier than it's plastic brethren. Just something to be aware of if weight is a main factor in your decision.
Out of the box, the first thing I did was plug this in and not touch it for a few hours. Once the battery was full, I powered it up, I signed into Microsoft and let it run updates for a few hours. I did nothing on it until all of that was done and it was ready to go. I have had zero issues with the system or the setup process and I'm thankful to Asus for not installing a ton of bloatware on this machine! There's a couple things I easily deleted/uninstalled but that took a few seconds.
Sound is ok but it's a laptop and they aren't really known for amazing audio quality due to the small speakers. They're fine for watching a quick video but for movies you'll want headphones/earbuds. The screen is NOT a 360 flip so there is no tablet mode. I've had other laptops that do it and I almost never used the tablet feature if I'm being honest. Occassionally I'd put it in "tent" mode to watch a movie, but I don't miss the ability. The backlit keyboard turns off and it's more stable on a seatback tray table when flying in the normal open position.
Overall, this computer has been working great and does everything I need it to do. The touch area in the top right corner of the touchpad that lights up the touchpad and becomes a number keypad is a brilliant use of space! I've found myself using it quite a bit on spreadsheets. It takes a bit of getting used to but it's a smart addition. I would recommend this laptop to anyone that needs a solid, all around productivity computer that's built to last!

Loving this multi-outlet surge protector! Quick note, something not pictured is that there is a screw in the middle of the 4 outlets. So to install it, you will remove the screw from your existing outlet cover and use this screw to secure the unit to the wall better. Do you have to do it? Probably not, but it has some weight to it and makes it easier to plug and unplug stuff without it shifting around. I recommend using it but it depends on your setup and needs.
Being able to rotate the outlets is an ideal solution compared to fixed outlets. I've had plenty of multi-outlet protectors where 2 outlets are instantly covered by one plug. This solves that problem. It's also handy to have the 2 USB-C outlets built right in as that eliminates the need to use a large power brick for phones or tablets. The USB output is strong enough to give most phones a quick charge (60W total USB output).
Overall, this is a great solution for an area, like a kitchen or office, where you might be short on outlets and need some flexibility. It works great, looks good and is functional!

I am so happy to have finally found a home carpet steam cleaner that works well and is easy to operate! We have a Golden Retriever, and while she doesn't make messes, between the dirt that gets tracked in and hair, we need to clean the carpets a few times a year. I've been using a different brand's cleaner for a few years, and while it did OK, the wand stopped working and it had trouble with stains. I've only used this once so far, but the build quality feels significantly better than the old one. It also performs better because it got out some old stains using the tough stain tool that's included! I'm convinced that the steam feature on the Bissell is the difference maker.
The upholstery tool and 8ft hose are great for furniture and stairs. They are super easy to clean too with removable covers. Quick dry mode and the level of suction from this machine are the reason you'll want to use it more often. Who wants to walk around on wet carpet or blast fans all day? I used it on a sunny, dry day with a light breeze and I would say the carpets were dry in about an hour.
Overall, this machine is outstanding and worth every penny, especially for pet owners or anyone with small children. To finally have a carpet cleaner with a steam function is a game changer for both the way it cleans but also helps sanitize. I couldn't be happier with this and recommend it to anyone!

Plugged this into a 2018 Chevy Equinox that only had wired CarPlay. It's not a huge deal but it's so much easier now to just leave the phone in your pocket (or purse for some) and start the car and go with a wireless connection.
The setup is really simple. Just plug this into whichever USB port you need to use for wired CarPlay and follow the prompts to connect it to your Bluetooth and pair it. Once you have it paired up, it's pretty seamless. When you get in the car, it takes a few seconds and you'll see a screen pop up with the name of your phone. Then the CarPlay home screen appears and you can use it as you normally would.
After using it for a week or so, it has had one time where I started the car and it didn't connect. I just unplugged the USB cable and plugged it back in. A few seconds later it connected.
Now that I know it works, I'll probably find a way to hide the box using double sided tape or something to get it out of the console under the radio for a cleaner install. I wish it could connect through the USB that inside the armrest but that's a Chevy problem, not a Rexing problem.
Overall, this is a perfect solution for newer vehicles that only have an option for wired CarPlay. I highly recommend it if you use CarPlay but your vehicle requires a wired connection. It makes the whole experience better!

I don't see why not. You TV has an HDMI (ARC) port and an optical audio output. Either method would work just fine. The HDMI (ARC) connection is preferred because it will have the soundbar turn on when the TV is turned on and off when you turn it off. It also allows the TV remote to control the soundbar level.
