Great RC for Fans of the movie Cars

This is not your dad’s remote control car. This is my first remote control car in over 30 years and it is awesome. Some high ights about the car. Besides driving the car, there are motors to control the mouth, suspension, front tires and steering letting you move and drive the car like you see in the movies. The display on the windshield lets you move and control the eye animation which is a hoot for kids. The speaker is loud and easy to hear and Owen Wilson’s voice is super accurate. The car moved quickly and when on a smooth surface it could make super sharp turn and spin/slide. I could even drive over short carpet. You can control the car with either an iphone or android phone. Controls are pretty straight forward. It just took me some time to go from a physical controller to a virtual controller on my cell phone. One of my favorite things about the app was that you could put phrases together to make McQueen say different things and I am hoping that as the App is update there will be more. It takes about 2 hours to charge and I got about 35-40 minutes of drive time. The range was about 80 feet or so which is more than enough for me. If you are a die hard fan of the movies Cars and you want a great RC car this is a good item, but at this price there are better options out there.

Great LCD projector for business use

The Epson - VS350 XGA 3LCD Projector is a nice business portable projector. I found it to be light and portable as I would use it at the different buildings I worked at. It is made for text based presentations using Word, Excel or power point. I found the projector to have nice lamination and it was easy to read the screen in a darkened room but it really works well when you can’t draw the shades completely. Even though it is not a high def projector I did use it to show Yoga videos from a DVD and it was good quality. I was able to move the projector back to a good distance so that the instructors on the yoga videos were almost human size. My student said how they enjoyed this because they were able to see how to correctly do the yoga poses. It was very easy to set up on my laptop too. If you are looking for a less expensive option for large screen viewing and it is text based in not completely dark rooms this is a great projector for you. If you are looking for more high definition video you will need to look and spend more for the HD projectors.

Incredible gaming router

If you are looking for a gaming router, this is the router for you. The WRT32X has quality of service (QoS) system designed to help network traffic such as games, video and VoIP, typically lag sensitive traffic are assigned the highest priority so that your video streams and phone calls are not interrupted. The WRT32X is able to determine game traffic and make it the highest priority. The WRT32X can then tell the router what the data traffic is and how it should be prioritized. The WRT32X can also look at the data packets traveling over your network. It is able to tell that an app update packet shouldn’t be treated as just as important as a gaming packet. The WRT32X is optimized for games because it will never queue a gaming packet of data.
I have two ipads and I tested downloading Facebook, Facebook messenger, Microsoft Outlook and the Weather Channel App I also had 11 Windows 10 programs to download on a laptop and desk top as I was using my NVIDIA Shield TV to play. When doing the first download on my old wifi system the NVIDIA would queue and buffer. It was especially brutal at first and as I had Direct TV now working too. When I used the WRT32X the gaming was smooth, the WRT32X really made sure that the NVIDIA had the best data. A nice touch was how the router list the devices that are compatible with the new prioritization feature. Just make sure that you download the Killer Hardware on your PC to take advantage of the gaming Killer technology, the Linksys Smart Wi-Fi doesn’t work with this feature.

Great mouse for large hands and extra precision

Logitech has created a mouse for better wrist posture and pronation. They were able to accomplish this by adding an adjustable hinge. This hinge is great, it allows you to tilt the mouse to an angle that is more comfortable for your hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder which will all help your neck. The hinge let’s you tilt the mouse from 0-30 degrees to best fit you. The larger surface area lets you rest your entire palm on the mouse instead of just a portion, which makes it easy to click the left and right buttons and in flicking across the trackball. The MX ergo has Logitech’s typical customization and I really liked the pointer precision mode which the trackball extremely precise. What made the precision mode work so well was that it slows down the pointer speed making it easier to control the trackball. The MX Ergo quickly switched between different devices and you won’t have to repair the mouse when you switch the mouse over to a different computer. The only person I would not recommend this mouse for is for small hands such as a child, but other wise it is great, especially if you use your mouse a lot while on your computer.

Potential could replacement

Quick Pros: Good price, easy set up, very fast and easy to use interface, remote file access
Quick Cons: Not a great PC app
This is a great SSD to back up your data and to be able to access that data remotely. The WD My Cloud support both traditional NAS features via a browser based dashboard and DLNA support, while apps let you access your drive remotely via PC, smartphone and tablets like other popular cloud services.
The benefit of this, is that you will have much more storage compared to other Cloud services, your data isn't shared with another company and you only have to upload what you need with no monthly subscription.
Mobile apps to bring support for Google Drive, Dropbox and SkyDrive letting users transfer and sync content between your data on the WD My Cloud and any existing Cloud storage service you already use.

Another great vitamix blender

This is a great blender. I drink two smoothies a day and I pack my blender with lots of food. This blender was easily able to handle kale with the stalk, frozen whole strawberries, half a lemon with the grind, half a line with the grind, chia and frozen blue berries. This blender really mixes everything up and gives it a nice smooth consistency. To further test the blender I put in whole seed chia and grinder it up. The seeds turned fine and didn't get caught in the middle or heat up to much and become gooey. I liked that there are 10!different speeds to use so that you can change it while blending to make sure that you get a smooth blend and the pulse feature works well too. The only thing I wish is that it had some pre programmed setups so I could multi task as I make my breakfast and lunch while making my smoothie. Clean up was nice and easy and there are not a lot of crevices for the food to get caught in too make clean up difficult.

A true multi cooker

The name sums up this appliance, it is truly a multi cooker. You can fry, cook, bake and broil your food and dishes. The frying part is nice, you can add much less oil than a typica fryer. The food, for me, came out nice and crisp and had a nice taste. It is nice to be able to be in control of how much oil goes into a recipe when a fryer is needed.
You can also use the cooker as a crock pot. We made some nice pulled pork. We also steamed vegetables and they came out crisp too and not over cooked. The cooker allows you to see the food from the top which is helps to make sure the food has not been over cooked. It also has a automatic stirrer which was very helpful when frying food. The stirrer helped prevent oil burns. You can take out the stirrer if you need more room to cook an item too.
You can also download an app for other recipes that work great with the multi cooker. Clean up was very easy and quick. A great cooker isn’t truly great if it does not clean up easily. The unit was also cool to the touch while cooking too, which help avoid unnecessary burns.
It is a rather large counter appliance, but because it has so many uses it may end up on my counter top permanently. If you are looking for a true multi cooker this is a great appliance to have.

Perfect laptop if you travel a lot

I love this laptop. It is the perfect laptop for work. I travel between two different buildings and when I put this laptop in my backpack, I barely noticed it. It fit easily and it was comfortable to carry. The real test is when I rode my bike to work with the laptop in my backpack. It was super easy and comfortable too. The laptop took up minimum space on my desk and is perfect for my traveling work life.
The display is awesome. It uses Dell's Infinity Edge that makes the bezels super small and you really don't notice them at all. Touch screen was very receptive and I had no issues with the touch screen. Colors seemed nice and accurate to me, but I basically use the laptop for MS Office apps, Chrome and a few other work related non graphics intense programs. I can not speak for gaming or hooking up the laptop to a larger monitor.
As for the power of the XPS, the laptop uses the Y processor which is fan less and makes the laptop super quiet. The laptop comes with 16 GB ram and 512 GB SSD which makes the computer fast. This is my first SSD and it is a huge difference with starting up programs, multi tasking and day to day operations. The processor is fine for my needs but it isn't fast enough for serious gamers.
Connectivity is good. I had no issues with wifi and it worked as well as my last laptop. With the smaller size there are not a lot of ports, it does come with a USB type C connector which is nice but you will probably want to buy a dongle if you plan on hooking up a lot of things to your lap top. At least it comes with an SD card reader.
I liked the keyboard. Spacing was nice and easy for me to learn and get used to quickly. I liked how the keyboard lights up when it gets dark, a nice feature to have. The speakers are nice, but nothing earth shattering. Watching You Tube videos was fine.
This is a 2 in 1 laptop so you can fold it back to turn it into a table which is nice. I enjoyed this when using the laptop at home. It is a very thing laptop so when it was in tablet mode it was easy to hold and carry. The small bezels really improved the tablet feel too.
My only complaint is that the front camera is on the bottom of the display. When using the camera sometimes people had a weird shot up my nose, but with a little adjustment they had a nicer view of me.
This is the laptop for someone who takes their laptop everywhere with them and needs an efficient, light weight easily transportable laptop.

I use an Apple Retina iMac and I had an earlier version of this mouse. The mouse, worked well, but getting the iMac to recognize the mouse was a pain, especially when ever the OS was updated.
Logitech has solved this issue. I was able to pair the mouse with the iMac with no problems at all and the mouse was fully functional. There are directions on a sticker on the bottom of the mouse that walks you through the entire process and it couldn't have been any easier.
The mouse is able to control content on up to three different computers. I used my wife's Dell Laptop too and I was able to copy and paste between the two computers. The mouse is very accurate and smooth, there is no lag or tank when moving the mouse around. The wheel hub on top of the mouse works well and is also smooth when scrolling through long web pages, word docs and especially excel files. You also have the choice of pairing the mouse either via bluetooth or the usb receiver.
Make sure you download the software for this device, it allows you to customize your mouse to fit your needs. There are too many customizations that you can make, to list, but you can customize what you want the right/left buttons and the forward and back side buttons do.
The only thing I wish logitech did was use a USB C to charge the mouse in stead of a micro usb charger.
The mouse is compact, but not too small for my hands (I can palm a basketball). It is designed to comfortably fit in most people's hand.
If you need a new mouse and you want one that you can customize, this is the mouse for you.

Loud wireless speaker that you will want outside

This is a large (21"), blue tooth speaker that you will feel safe leaving outside, in a covered area and not worry about it getting damaged. This is not a blue tooth speaker you will put in a bag to take to the beach or a picnic.
The speaker is IPX-3 rating which means it can take some light spray/mist, but you will not be able to leave the speaker outside year round. It is covered in a hard rubber which will help if you drop the speaker or if it is knocked over. Though I wouldn't consider this a super mobile speaker, it does have a nice hidden carry handle which makes it easier to move with you.
Connectivity is nice. It is Bluetooth 4.0 and if your phone has NFC you can tap your phone to the speaker to pair it with the speaker (think Android or Apple Pay). You also have the ability to add extra speakers with the Aux-out port if you need ever more sound. Lastly the speaker has a built in microphone for hands free calling which is nice around the pool. The speaker also has a 100 ft range. I was able to get that range with my iPhone 7 plus.
Sound is loud! When testing the connection range of my phone to the speaker I was impressed how loud and clear the speaker is. This is a great speaker if you will have a lot of people or a lot of ground to cover. It may not be as crisp as smaller speakers, but more people will be able to hear music from this speaker.
If you need a large, sturdy speaker that is able to play music loud, this is the speaker for you. If you are looking for a small speaker to be able to move around the house easily or take it where ever you go, I would look at other speakers.
