Great all one one space saving coffee machine

I have been very happy with the coffee made with this machine. The coffee has been very good and making coffee has been easy. Even though other reviews have said that directions are difficult, I have found them to be very clear. Just make sure that you read the directions for when you make an espresso, it is very important to clean the maker correctly when you are done making an espresso. The maker is compact for being able to make either coffee or an espresso, it turns into a nice space saver instead of having to buy two different beverage makers. My favorite thing about this coffee maker is how easy it is to pour water into the coffee maker and not have the water spill all over the place. You can’t say that for all coffee makers.
The machine comes with a pre-installed 15-bar cappuccino, espresso and latte. The machine mixes both steam and milk to create a thick foam, which is not a common feature. The machine is front loading which makes it easier to load water in to the water tank, which is nice. The machine also comes with a dedicated water filter, again saving you valuable counter and refrigerator space. The maker comes with a timer that can be programed on a 24 hour timer. There is a feature called smart brew pause that lets you drink a cup of coffee while brewing and you will no longer have to wait for the brewing to finish.
If you are looking for a 2in1 unit that will save you counter space and add some extra features and touches you can’t go wrong with this machine.

Start every morning off right with this DeLonghi Dedica coffee grinder. It has a 14-cup grind capacity to serve a crowd, and its 18 grind settings and light, normal and strong coffee choices provide the options you need to meet variable taste preferences. This DeLonghi Dedica coffee grinder has a removable upper burr to make cleaning easy.

I really like this coffee grinder. It is designed well, and looks great on my counter top. It blends in well with my other appliances on my counter top. What I like best about this grinder is how it removes the harshness of the beans, but still leaves a full bodied flavor. When I finished grinding my first batch, the beans very grounded very finely and I didn’t have a lot of the grounds left over when I used a French Press.
The grinder comes with 18 settings, 6 variations for fine, medium and coarse. Awesome Sound, perfect for the minimalist

The Magnifi Mini is perfect for a discreet, easy to set up and great sounding speaker. Other sound bars do not come smaller or better sounding for the money than the Polk MagniFi Mini. The sound bar sounds great with both movies and music. It really made voices quite clear and easy to hear especially with movies like Harry Potter with the tricky accents and sound action sounds. Music sounded great when I played iTunes though my apple tv on my LG OLED 2016 TV.
One of the great features is Google Cast, which lets you easily stream from your phone, other music apps and even make the Magnificent a whole house music set up.
The MagniFi Mini is tiny, just 13 inches wide and three inches high. A set of lights on the front let you know the volume and input selection and switching inputs is easy. Unfortunately you can not wall mount the unit, but it could be placed on a small self. The subwoofer that comes with the unit is also small and is wireless so you can place it out of sight. The remote is excellent. It is a great size, very ergonomic and clearly marked buttons.
The unit can connect to various devices either via bluetooth, Wi-Fi, optical, 3.5 mm input and HDMI. You have lots of choices here. Google East is great, and can potentially connect with Google Home and Chromecast Audio.
Sound is great, it compares well with a pair of dedicated speakers, the side firing speakers really help. Sound is full and open sounding.
The MagniFi Mini is one of the best sound bars at this price. You won't be disappointed.

Future Proof your Home Wi-Fi

like the Linksys EA 9300 AC400 Tri Band MU-MIMO. I like knowing that this router is ready for the future. Many of the new 4K TV’s, laptops, smart phones, tablets and game consoles will be supported by the EA 9300. The EA 9300 also supports next generation Wi-Fi 802.11 ac Wave 2 technology, that will help improve overall performance and efficiency of a Wi-Fi Network and provide dedicated bandwidth to MU-MIMO capable devices. This is important to me because with the rise of bandwidth intensive activities, such as 4K streaming and movie downloads, the importance of an efficient and optimized Wi-Fi network is more critical than ever. Tri-Band and MU-MIMO enables multiple devices to communicate with the router and or range extenders simultaneously, so the result is a faster and more reliable Wi-Fi.
In layman’s terms this means that more devices will be able to hook up to your router and still have an efficient and effective Wi-Fi speeds. I saw this with my router. I pay for 60 mbps up and 5 mbps down. I saw 70 mbps up and 7 mbps down in the same room. When I went two rooms away from the router (a bathroom is between my router and living room that has concrete drywall for the walk in tiled shower) I still had good speeds of 68 mbps and 6 mbps down. Other routers I have had in the past would drop down to the high 50’s and low 60’s. Signal strength distance was above average too. I could still get Wi-Fi out side and about 100 feet from my house I would get speeds of 20 Mbps down and 2 Mbps up. With other router’s most times I can not get a signal to reach that far and if I could the speeds would be around 5 Mbps down and <1 Mbps up.
The technology that I am looking most forward to is the router will let you roam around the home always connected to the optimal access point, either router or range extender without having to manually connect or lose connection. The EA9300 will always switch and connect your device to the strongest Wi-Fi signal at all times which is important when watching data hungry programs like Netflix and other streaming sources. This will let you more seamlessly from room to room, floor to floor and always stay connected to your Wi-Fi. This is a down fall of range extenders as it will drop Wi-Fi to connect to the range extender, but this will no longer happen with the EA 9300. The EA 9300 also has a single network name (SSID) for your entire network (the router and any range extenders you have connected to the router) which too allows for seamless roaming in your network.
There is plenty of flexibility with this device if you need to connected several devices to the router. There are two USB ports and 4 additional Ethernet ports to connect laptops, computers and other streaming devices for maximum speeds.
If you live in a small apartment or want to set up a network with range extenders, this is a nice main Wi-Fi router with strong performance for all of your Wi-Fi devices.

Good rugged outdoor Bluetooth speaker

This is a great outside speaker when you are out doors. The speaker’s output goes to 94 decibels and I could hear it clearly when outside with the kids playing. I used it in the bathroom while the shower was running and there was not an issue with clarity either. I like that it is water proof and that I can leave it out on the porch and not have to worry about the dew or snow ruining the speaker if I leave it out over night. The speaker will turn off if it falls into the water, but it will float/bounce which is nice, but I would have liked it if the speaker would still play if it was in the water. The speaker is rated for 1 m in the water and is drop proof to 4 feet which is great since I will mainly use this speaker outside.
I like the feel of the speaker, which makes it easy to grab when it is wet. The power, volume, stop, play and track buttons are large and easy to use. I can see myself not having to look at the buttons once I learn where they are placed because of the size and spacing between the different buttons. This will be nice since they are located at the top of the speaker. It has a hand dry box that flips open and closed. You can put smaller things in there like credit cards or keys, the larger model fits a smartphone.
Bluetooth worked well. My phone easily connected to the speaker and you can have up to 8 different devices connect to the speaker. It was seamless when switching from one device to the next and connecting to the speaker. Another cool feature is that you can connect your phone to the speaker to charge your phone while music is playing. Very handy to have if you are not near an outlet and your phone is low. Battery life is rated at 13 hours. I did leave the speaker on for 12 hours straight and there was still some battery left.
The Bluetooth speaker department one is a crowded one. This is a great speaker if you plan to use this outside and want a speaker that is waterproof and drop proof.

Great carpet cleaner

I like the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution. It is a nice carpet cleaner to tackle a room at a time or a floor of rooms in a day. The box comes with an upholstery brush for upholstered furniture and two bottles of cleaner for pets. You will need a Philips head screw driver to complete the set up of the Bissell. Once the Bissel is set up all you need to do is fill the tank with water and solution.
There are two cleaning modes, express and deep clean. Express does soak your carpets and Bissell claims that the carpet will dry in an hour (this time depends on temperature and humidity). Deep clean puts more soap on the carpet and you will have to pull the Bissell back to collect the extra soap and water. Patience is the key, you have to let the soapy water have a chance to penetrate the carpet, allow the brushes to take their time to scrub the carpet and pull back slow enough to allow the soapy water and dirt to be sucked back into the Bissell. I have found that after I have put the soapy water on the carpet if I go back and forth several times on dirty carpet it cleans the carpet better. If you can see that the water being sucked back into the Bissell is no longer as dirty or clearer, you can move onto the next section. If you use the deep clean mode setting up fans for cross ventilation helps dry the carpets a lot quicker especially on humid days.
Cleaning the Bissell between cleaning the carpet is the key to cleaner rugs. Bissell did a nice job clear documenting on how to properly empty the dirty water and clean the tank in-between adding new water and soap as you clean.
Even though the unit did not come with a bare floor cleaner I did try it on my vinyl floor and it worked well. I think a lot of that was due to the heated water that loosened up the dirt and the vacuuming up of the dirty floor water. I would not use the deep clean mode as it would cause a lot of excess water to be on the floor.
This is a nice unit. I would definitely suggest it for a household that likes to clean its carpets once a year or when ever a rug needs a touch up and you have the patience to run the Bissell slowly and methodically. I was amazed how much cleaner my carpets were after washing them. It won’t make old rugs that have never been cleaned look brand new, but you will be able to tell that those carpets have been cleaned.

Great sounding, H2O proof compact Bluetooth player

This is a great little speaker. It's fairly small, but the volume and sound quality was surprisingly good. Connecting the speaker to a Bluetooth compatible device is easy. I was able to connect my iPhone 7 plus via Bluetooth seamlessly, and the speaker connected to my phone automatically after I turned the speaker on again. I could place my phone about 30 feet away from the speaker before I would lose connection. I could hear the music clearly every where in a full size basketball court. I like how the music could be heard 360 degrees unlike front facing speakers.
I've used it in the shower and not had any issues with it getting wet, I still need to test it out in a pool or other larger area of water to see how it does.
Controlling the music is easy. Tap the UE button once to play or hit pause. Press again to resume the track. Tap it twice to skip to the next song. Long press it to sync with another nearby Wonderboom speaker. Press again to resume the track.
You can push both volume buttons at the same time and it gives you an audio tone to tell you it is it “high” charge which is a series of notes of increasing pitch, “medium” charge which is a couple of tones, and “low” which is a series of decreasing pitch notes.
A few things I didn't care for, the battery life is not the greatest, only giving me about 3 hours max, compared to other similar speakers I've had that easily go for twice as long before dying on me. You cannot tell the battery level visually. The directions said 2.8 hours, so I left it 3 hours it was still giving me the “medium tone" After five hours I got the “high” charge. I am not a fan of this sort of battery indicator.
I did not like the recessed connection for the USB connection, I assume that the design is necessary for the waterproof feature, but it's very hard to see which way your cord needs to be turned to insert it, so if you get this you may want to pick up one of the USB cables that is able to be inserter either way (I really wish companies would include that kind of cable in fact, particularly when they have a design like this where it's especially hard to get it inserted). It's also fairly hard to see the button on the top for turning it on, although you can find it by feeling around a bit.
If having a waterproof speaker is the most important thing to you, this one would certainly be a good contender as well.

Excellent vacuum cleaner

I received this item from Best Buy to review. I was not too excited because we only have one room with a wall to wall carpet and a basement with indoor/outdoor carpet and the stairwell that leads down to the basement. I was pleasantly surprised about this vacuum and how much more it could do besides just carpets. I have always had a typical vacuum cleaner, with a canister and one hose attachment. This was the first one that I have ever owned that had attachments and could come apart to be used like a shop vac. Typically when we would do our spring cleaning or when I had to clean the stairwell, we had to use our smaller shop vac which is why it was not cleaned much. It was super easy to turn the standup vacuum in to a portable vacuum. I was surprised how light it was and easy to hold as I was cleaning the stairwell. Usually it is a workout and balancing act with trying to find a spot to rest the shop vac and clean the stairs at the same time. It was very easy to hold the Shark clean the stairs and I did not have to bend as much as I usually did when using a shop vac. Suction was good and I was able to clean the stairs a little bit faster with much less effort. We used the Shark to clean our couches which was easier and cleaned up the cat fur much faster than the shop vac. It was easy to hit the cobwebs in the ceiling and the nooks behind the couch and other furniture that we normally do not clean unless we complete move everything. We have a wood burning stove and lots of small wood bits and ash. The Shark easily cleaned it up and not dust pan was needed. We noticed that less of the small bits were spread around and it made it much easier to clean in the grout of the wood floor. Cleaning the floor is much easier now. What I really like is how well it cleaned the bare floor. I used it to get under the counter tops on the floor and it was much easier to wash the floor because we didn’t have as much debris on the floor. Same for the bathroom floor, it was much easier to just clean the tile instead of cleaning up debris and dirt. The Shark worked well on the indoor/outdoor carpet. Our basement floor is uneven and the concrete has started to crumble apart in areas which makes it difficult to vacuum up smaller lint stuck in the carpet. The Shark wasn’t perfect, but it was able to pick up more than our old vacuum. There are lots of pictures on the Shark to tell you how to use and adjust the vacuum which makes it handy as they are very easy to follow. What I love is that the Shark comes with washable filters. No more remembering to replace them or finding somewhere to buy them. If it is dirty now I can just clean the filters and use them again. The Shark does a nice job of not blowing the dust and dirt we vacuumed up. With our old one I could always see and smell/taste the dust and dirt, the Shark does a much better job keeping it in the vacuum. Removing the canister was easy and easy to put back. Emptying the canister was a little tricky and messy. I have yet to use a vacuum cleaner that has a canister that is 100% mess free. Again, the pictures were very helpful with emptying the canister very easy. The attachment caddie is very nice. For my 1800 sq ft house with regular height ceilings this is a great vacuum. I did use it to clean my car and it did a nice job, but the larger shop vac I used, worked better. I am guessing that if used the Shark more often it would be fine because I could keep on top of any small messes made in my car. It was a lot easier to use and move then the larger shop vac. I did enjoy that I could bring the Shark inside my car and I didn’t have to constantly wheel the vacuum around like a shop vac. For the price point and functionality, this is a great vacuum and it cleans a lot of surfaces and areas of your house.

One of the best $200 headphones

I tested these against a few other high end Bluetooth models and the have excellent sound. They weren’t as good as the other ones, but they were not $200-300 worse. I like the noise canceling abilities on this headphone. I like to ride my Schwinn Airdyne bike which has a fan belt driven chain, ie very noisy. The headphones did a great job canceling out the noise. I could listen to my tv that was connected to the head phones at a much lower level. Typically, I need to use a volume of 27-36 for ESPN on DirectvNow and with the headphones I could bring that down to 15-18. Apple music also sounded better. I had a hard time hearing people talk, especially when I had someone talk from a spot I couldn’t see them. Be careful if you still need to be able to hear things around you when using noise cancellation. Even without the noise cancellation on, the headphones did a nice job blocking out the sound because they are over the ear headphones. Bass levels were good for me when I was listening to my “bad” 80’s pop music or grunge from the late 90’s. It was crisp and clear and not too drowned out by the bass. I personally liked where Sony has placed the volume and tracking. I could easily restart a song, skip a song and change the volume. Those buttons were easy to find and very responsive even as I was on my bike. After I fully charged the head phones I tried to leave them connected to a music source as much as I could. I got about 19 hours of play. I sure it could be a little less since I didn’t have it consistently being used, but I would feel comfortable that it could make it for a entire days use. Along with using the headphones for an entire day, the ear cushions are very comfortable and the headphones rested comfortably on my head. I did use it about 3 hours for the first day with the testing and it was very comfortable. It did get very hot when I rode my bike for 30 minutes. I could not imagine using these to exercise with if I was doing cardio or weight training as they would get way to hot like any over the ear headphones. The head phones were stable, but there was some noise artifact when moving my arms a lot, but that happens with most over the ear head phones. could get about 25-50 feet of steady connection to my tv. I could even travel a floor above the tv and on the other side of my house and have a solid connection. I liked the ios app. I prefer the presets, but there were lots of little tweaks you could do. My only grips are that a charger was not supplied but any micro usb charger works. I would prefer a usb C charging set up. I think Sony make some cost savings by not having the headphones being able to fold up, which is nice for some, especially since ti makes carrying the headphones in a carrying case nicer. Over a great noise cancelling over the ear headphones if you are looking to spend $200.

A good way to improve signal for cellular not data

This is a device that will help improve your phone reception and data speeds, but do not expect a miracle. It will help boost your signal strength, but do not expect that it will give your phone rocket speed for data or crystal clear reception. You would have to move a cell tower to your back yard for this too happen. The quality of your phone and the types of cellular radios they use will also affect your data speeds and voice clarity along with what network you are on and how far you are from that cell tower.
The best benefits I saw was that my reception improved from 112 dBm to 102 dBm. Web pages on my iPhone 7 plus loaded a little faster but the best improvement I had was when talking on my phone. I called a few people on both land lines and cell phones and they said that my voice sounded clearer than usual.
I liked how I only had to have about 6 feet between the receiver and the transmitter which helps if you are in a tight space. I highly recommend that you watch the video instructions for proper set up of the weBoost.
Other tips are to install an app like open signal to help you find where your provider's cell towers are. The weBoost will definitely work better if it is facing towards a cell tower.
