Disappointing after the hype and the delay.

I was disappointed to have to wait for this release, but I figured, if they couldn't release it at PS4 launch, then they were obviously working out kinks.
So I was excited to finally get the game. Fired it up and it looks great. The visuals are really nice on the game. However, if anyone has ever played the GTA series, you will notice instantly that the vehicle physics are severely lacking. Really frustrating to drive at times.
As for the hacking element, that is interesting, but repetitive, and then cumbersome, which hindered my engagement in the game.
I purchased Infamous Second Son the same week when Best Buy had it on sale, and I have been engrossed in that game since I put it in, that Watchdogs hasn't made it back into my PS4 again since.
Game looks great, but it is lacking in overall game play.

Pretty much JUST a gaming system!

I've owned a PS1, 2xPS2 and 2xPS3, so for me, purchasing a PS4 was a no brainer. I pre-ordered the PS4 6 months ago and picked it up last week. Here are my thoughts so far:
The Controller:
A fantastic step forward. Love the added functionality, the sound capability, the variable vibration function, the smooth button technology, the touchpad. Sony hit a home run with the controller.

The Playstation 4:
Out of the box, it is a sleek, well designed looking piece of kit. Personally, I think it looks better than the PS3 does, and I liked the design of it! It was very easy to set up and get up and running. The inevitable software update was done fairly quickly (before the PSN went down - also had a backup on USB as well).

The new user interface is pretty intuitive for the most part, so navigating to games and setting up Netflix was a breeze.
However, I have been looking into more of the features, or lack of features, and find that the Bluetooth media remotes that were used on PS3's are not compatible at all with the PS4. This system is in my living room, therefore is my 'defacto' BluRay player, so having the remote is very useful to me. That was very disappointing to find out, and Sony doesn't have a bespoke PS4 media remote as yet.
I have also found out that the PS4 is not 3D BluRay compatible either. That again is something that I was interested in. I have a 3D television and purchase 3D BluRays.
Hopefully in the future, just like with the PS3, there will be a software update to address these issues. The PS3 was originally unable to play 3D BluRays, and that functionality was opened up as a software update.
I like the progression of the Playstation development as a gaming system, but I think that leaving out some of these key things that people are 'used to' from a previous version of the system is short sighted by Sony.

Can it do cold drinks as well as hot? And what is the maximum volume it can brew? Can it brew a whole pot of coffee?
No, this machine does not do cold drinks. It has 5 pre-set coffee settings, and a hot water setting. It brews single cups at a time, so won't brew a whole pot at one time.

Are these in stereo?
Yes, they are in stereo. They also have Bose AR, augmented audio, surrounding your head with directional sound. They sound really good for a product like this. Not as good as in-ear headphones, but they do have a surprisingly good sound.

Can I access lights when NOT at home
Yes you can. Using the app, you are able to control them from anywhere in the world. And I have done! While on vacation to the UK, from the US, I would monitor my house through my video cameras and then adjust the schedules of my lights, randomizing them and checking them from almost 5000 miles away. Worked really well.
