Finally! An ice maker that is simple to set up, quiet in operation, quick to produce the ice and, most importantly, makes "cafe" quality ice pellets! The side tank attachment is pure gold! It allows me to add water far less frequently than other machines I have tried. I love the sleek look, the subtle indicator lights and even the ice tank lighting which can be dimmed.
A few minor issues - the drain hoses are located on the rear of the unit meaning that you will have to be able to pull the machine out and turn it around when it comes time to clean it. Also, it is a bit of a beast size-wise so make sure you have a good chunk of counter space to dedicate to it.
Now, here's what cost the unit a full star; the "WiFi" capability requires that you download an app that insists on having access to your photos and contacts! What??? In this age of constant security failures I elected to forgo any convenience that the app might have provided. Also, once again, the Bluetooth connectivity is sketchy and some of the functions either don't work or need better instructions.
If GE can get this app up to snuff the unit will be a winner!

I really wanted to love this thermometer. I need a product like this as other manual thermometers require you to physically check the display in order to not ruin your food. However, the app required to use this device is so flaky and the bluetooth connectivity is so unstable that I cannot recommend that you buy one. The need for the charging base to be kept so close to the thermometer when it is in use is problematic. Add to that the fact that the base loses contact with the thermometer AND your phone at random times and you have a perfect recipe for disaster!

Quality product marred by cranky Bluetooth pairing

The Marshall Monitor II headphones are a solidly built set of cans with Active Noise Cancelling and a few steam-punk styling choices (curled cords, a rippled metal finish and a gold joy-stick style control button) that will draw attention to the wearer. The headphones have satisfying heft and feel quite sturdy. The sound quality is very good and they are comfortable to wear.
The ANC is good but not great. I have two other brands of over-the-ear noise cancelling headsets that do a slightly better job but not enough of a difference to be THE deciding factor in your choice.
There is another factor though that is extremely annoying. These headphones appear to be very cranky about Bluetooth pairing. They simply refused to pair with either of our cellphones (different brands and manufacturers) but paired immediately with my laptop. That is the saving grace for me as my intent was to find a good pair of over-the-ears to use with my laptop when I travel. These work great with Windows Sonic, Dolby for headphones and DTS Headphone:X so they are a keeper for me.
I encourage you to consider these headphones but keep your receipt just in case you can't get them to work with your phone!

A win in the war over kitchen counter space!

The Bella Pro Multi Cooker has helped us solve a serious problem in our kitchen. Like most folks we have decent counter space but by the time we add our pressure cooker, our crock pot, and our air fryer to the space we are seriously out of room (and outlets) and so we are constantly shuffling our large, heavy appliances around.
This cooker is a jack-of-all-trades and allows us to have a single appliance out all of the time. Not to mislead you - this thing is a bit of a beast and you probably will need to seriously think about its placement but it is worth it.
We have air fried homemade french fries, hamburger patties, steaks and even asparagus spears and everything was delicious. We have pressure cooked everything from hard boiled eggs to homemade chicken broth. All great! And we haven't even touched the dehydrator function yet!
On the downside - the unit takes a little longer to come up to pressure than we are used to and shuffling the top units out between pressure cooking and air frying can be a bit perilous. But the results speak for themselves.
We recommend this cooker to anyone considering a pressure cooker, a crock pot or an air fryer. Why settle for multiple solutions when you can do it all with the Bella?

Skullcandy makes my favorite earbuds so when I saw that they were offering a noise cancelling, over-the-ear option I jumped at the chance to try them out. Spoiler alert - these things rock!
The packaging is first rate and everything you need is in the box. You get a charging cable and another cable with 3.5mm jacks for hardwired use. The unit had enough of a charge out of the box to allow me to complete the setup. Bluetooth pairing was quick and easy and the Skullcandy app downloaded and installed without a hitch. After startup the app searched for and found the headphones without any problems.
The next step was a pleasant surprise. The app walked me through setting up a personalized profile that was tuned to my hearing! Basically the app walks you through a series of tones for each ear. You press a button onscreen to tell the app if you can hear the tone or not and the app creates an "equalized" profile specific to your ears. This reminded me of going to the audiologist and I was very impressed with the results.
The headband is padded and the earpads are of a high quality, soft leather-like material that makes these very comfortable to wear. All of the customary controls are mounted on the cups' surface to allow you to adjust the volume, change tracks and answer the phone. Everything worked perfectly. Battery life seems quite generous and charging is very easy via a USB-C port.
The only thing we even noticed is that if you wear glasses the pressure from the headband on the bows can get uncomfortable after a long listening session.
In summary - Skullcandy has another winner with the Crusher.

Get rich, room-filling sound with this Sonos One SL speaker, and control it with the Sonos app, Apple AirPlay 2, and more. Pair it with Sonos One or another One SL in the same room for stereo separation and more detailed sound.

This is my first Sonos product and I was very excited to get it setup and listen to it. I had heard such great things about the sound quality and was looking forward to hearing it in my space.
Unpacking the One SL was a very satisfying first experience. The unit is solid, hefty for its size and is constructed of metal. The controls are located unobtrusively on top of the unit. The power supply is built in (no power brick, yay!) and the installation instructions are ultra-simple. A piece of cake... I thought.
I loaded the Sonos app on my Android phone and began walking through the setup. After two and a half hours, multiple WiFi disconnects, multiple lock-ups and multiple resets I finally gave up.
I decided to try the unit in a different location, reset everything and start again. Different Android phone. Different WiFi network. Surely I would succeed this time? Three attempts before the app completed downloading and successfully installed.
I quit for the night and decided to try again after the weekend. Reset everything. Restarted the app. The unit was finally recognized, setup and registered!!!
As I write this review I am enjoying the One SL very much. Sound quality is everything I hoped for. Plenty of volume, good bass response, controls work great.
I don't remember ever having so much trouble getting a product setup before but if you are patient and stick through the setup you will be rewarded with great sound from a quality product.

The Insignia 2.0 channel Mini Soundbar is a modest offering that is a notch above the speakers in a smaller TV or display. The bar is very small (roughly 16 inches wide) and houses two small speakers. The build quality is decent, and the unit comes packaged with most everything you need including a remote control with batteries, RCA audio cables with a separate 3.5mm jack adapter and even screws and a template if you want to wall mount the unit.
Be advised - this unit does NOT have an HDMI input. It does have a digital optical input which most modern TVs will support via PCM. It also has stereo RCA aux inputs, Bluetooth and a USB port which allows you to play WAV files from an external USB drive.
I use both the aux inputs and the Bluetooth connectivity. Both perform fine. The volume is limited but is adequate if you are sitting close enough to the soundbar. There is even some decent bass output.
If you are looking for a way to add a little oomph to an existing device with limited sound capability and/or have limited space for a speaker solution then the Insignia Mini Soundbar is worth a look.

The new Sony - UBP-X1100ES - 4K Ultra HD Blu Ray player is the latest in the ES series from the company. As expected, it is solidly built and quite easy to set up and operate. I replaced my X800 because I wanted Dolby Vision, Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X compatibility.
I have my X1100ES connected directly to my Samsung Q90R soundbar and from the soundbar to my LG E8 OLED display. The Q90R is a 7.1.4 unit with rear wireless surrounds that support ATMOS and DTS:X via reflected sound from 4 discrete up-firing speakers. I have connected it via Ethernet for internet access and streaming.
The provided remote is pretty basic, not backlit but provides easy access to all of the features you'll need. There is a dedicated Netflix button.
The video and audio quality are pristine. Blu Ray playback is flawless and all of the HD audio can be delivered either as PCM or bitstream. It also streams content from both my Synology and WD NAS devices without any problems.
I really have only two issues with the player.
The first is that the unit can have problems with HDMI sync. I'm not sure if this is related to HDMI cabling or the specific hardware that I am running. Sync can drop during playback but also can fail if you pause the unit too long or on initial power up. To be fair, these sync issues can be seen with other manufacturer's equipment as well. I have seen firmware upgrades improve or even eliminate this.
The second issue is a real pain. The unit will NOT auto-switch to Dolby Vision. Instead you must enter the setup mode, drill down to the audio section and manually turn the setting on. Then you have to remember to turn it off when you want to watch any non-DV content. This can be a real problem because much of the available DV content is either not labeled or very difficult to determine in advance.
Again, other players can auto-switch so I am extremely hopeful that a future firmware upgrade will fix this. If (when) that happens this unit will earn a solid 5 stars.
The X1100ES offers a solidly built, competitive choice and definitely deserves your consideration.

Let me begin by telling you that I have been able over the years to put together a pretty nice home theater in my living room. I have a premium brand OLED, an elite series AV Receiver and a leading manufacturer's speakers all assembled to deliver the best surround sound I could afford. Furthermore, all of this has to look and sound good in a room with a vaulted ceiling and an open space instead of a wall on one side! Wiring this up has been a challenge and each upgrade has resulted in significant time dealing with a spaghetti nest of wiring. While I intuitively knew that a soundbar would be a much more elegant solution for me I wasn't willing to sacrifice quality surround sound and needed support for both ATMOS and DTS:X formats. I have auditioned other soundbars and while they sounded good, none met my dream requirements. Until now...…..
This solution will rock your world! It is solid and heavy and just defines quality. The soundbar itself contains multiple speakers - front firing, side firing and even up-firing! The unit easily and consistently connects wirelessly to both the subwoofer and the two rear speakers (that each include their own up-firing speaker as well). That's right - 7.4.1!
I have fed this beast every form of content I have - from streaming YouTube content to Dolby Digital, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS, Dolby ATMOS and DTS:X. Everything has worked. The imaging is amazing. There is no mic stand included. There is a mic mount that follows the familiar U shaped broadcast format. It has both a standard thread and an adapter for smaller mount points.

The unit has Wi-Fi built in. It connected to my 2.4Ghz network without any issues. No special bridging hardware was needed.

How to Recharge battery and what type for？ Is there a charging stand need to buy?
The battery is easily removable and has a mini-usb style charging port. I believe it is Lithium Ion and no separate charging stand is needed.

what are the dimensions of the keypad side? my front door has some designs on it that might be in the way of the keypad.

Does the bolt come out on the right side or the left? My door opens to the left, so I need it to come out on the right side of the outside piece.
The design allows for both right hand and left hand doors. The bolt is notated with an "up" stamp and the mechanism has a locking knob that has emblems on both sides of the interior panel so that you can twist it either clockwise or counter-clockwise to work the bolt.
