First things first - this is no toy! Rug Doctor is known for professional class cleaning appliances and this one is a dandy!
The unboxing experience is a joy. There is zero assembly required. The unit is ready to go right out of the box. The handle folds down leaving you with something that kind of resembles a piece of rolling luggage. It is a bit heavy, my wife needed help lifting it out of the box but the design is genius in that it makes it much easier to find space to store it when it is not in use.
The on-line videos were sufficient to get us started but did vary from the appearance of our unit and some of the operations suggested on-line differed slightly from the included manual but this was a minor issue.
Rug Doctor includes a small bottle of cleaning solution to get you started so you can get started right away. However, if you planning on cleaning more that a small area you will want to buy a larger bottle right away.
Operating the machine is really simple. Push and hold a button on the handle and slowly roll the machine forward and the back over the same area. Let go of the handle and repeat the process to vacuum up the dirty water. We were somewhat surprised by the weight of the machine and the resistance created by the spinning brush. After awhile you may want to take a break just to catch your breath!
The results are very, very good! The Rug Doctor will pull an embarassing amount of crud out of your carpets and is quite good at removing the water afterwards. We were able to walk on the carpets after an hour or so and everything had completed dried by morning.
As others have mentioned, the screw caps on the tanks are fastened VERY tightly out-of-the-box. But they will come off if you exert a little effort. Also, emptying the dirty water tank is a little clumsy due to the placement of the cap. We made a mess a couple of times. Also, managing the power cord while trying to keep both hands on the handle can get a little frustrating. My advice - work small areas at a time. It makes everything easier!
In summary, my carpets haven't looked this good since they were new!

A compact solution for your desktop computing need

This is my first All-in-One computer and I think Dell has a winner here. Dell put everything inside a crisp 24", HD touch screen monitor with a wireless keyboard and mouse. This allows you to maximize your limited desktop real-estate without giving up performance.
The unboxing experience was a little disconcerting as the contents seemed to have been re-packaged! The in-box literature was not even in English but there was nothing missing. In fact, the batteries for the keyboard and mouse were REAL Duracells, not the typical reduced-life, no-name variety that seems to be so prevalent with new products these days. And actually assembling the components was really very easy since the all-in-one design minimizes the number of discrete parts. The monitor base is solid and heavy and very easy to attach. It is also articulating so adjusting the screen is very easy.
My unit came with the next-gen Intel i7 processor, 12GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. This is kind of middle of the road for a desktop as I have a Dell laptop with better specs, but the overall performance is still quite good.
The initial power-on and setup process was typical in every way. I was ready to go after about 15 minutes. Image and sound quality are very good. The camera is mounted on top of the screen and is recessed when not in use. The built in wireless capability includes both 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.2. There are also a number of USB ports (3.0 and 2.0), HDMI , and an Ethernet port so your connection choices are very good. There is no internal optical DVD reader, however an external option is available.
Overall, I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a solid, compact computing option to use in a restricted space (can anyone say "dorm room"?)

I've always had great respect for BOSE sound quality and have some experience with their higher end PA and amplifier products (the L2) for performing with acoustic guitars and microphones. Those units sound great and are legendary when it comes to setup/breakdown ease. Still, those devices cost thousands of dollars and so I was pretty skeptical that a 15 pound box that is about 1 square foot in size could really deliver. Spoiler Alert! - It does!!!
If you are into small venues or busking and want a portable solution with 3 independent channels you will love the S1! Two of the channels offer 1/4" or XLR input with independent reverb, bass, treble and volume controls. Those channels each have the BOSE ToneMatch system which allows you to optimize for either a guitar or microphone, or simply have a clean channel by simply sliding a switch. The third channel offers a 3.5mm jack or Bluetooth support, again with it's own volume control. This is super handy if you want to use backing tracks or play music between sets.
The unit itself has positional sensors that allow it to automatically apply the appropriate equalization depending on its orientation. I found the effect to be subtle but effective and it really offers you a ton of flexibility. You can stand the box upright, tilted back, or lay it on its side for use as a monitor. It also can be mounted on a speaker stand. One thing that impressed me is that I don't have to be super careful about where I am in relation to the speaker. It is really good at suppressing feedback.
The box also offers a line out port if you need to pass off your signal to a main PA.
Here's where the S1 separates itself from the pack - there is an optional lithium-ion battery pack available that can run for up to 6 hours and allows you to use it almost anywhere. I haven't actually run on battery for more than 2 or 3 hours but I can testify that it easily runs that long.
BOSE has borrowed their vertical-array technology from the L1 system to create a very wide and rich soundfield from a very small form factor. While you can drive it too hard and create some nasty break ups, if you use it as intended you will be surprised at how loud it can play.
There aren't a lot of negatives that I can point out. One might be the lack of a master volume control for the inputs. Sometimes you just want to increase or decrease the volume for the whole unit with out having to go back and adjust individual controls. This is especially important because often you will have spent some time getting everything dialed in on a channel-by-channel basis and you really don't want to mess with that when you are trying to perform.
In summary - the S1 has become a precious traveling companion for me and I would strongly encourage you to check it out!

Sound laptop with good performance.

The latest Dell 2-in-1 laptop is a solid performer with some nice features.
Like all of the Dell products, the laptop comes packaged in a solid box with plenty of biodegradable protective materials to make sure the unit gets to you in good shape. The unboxing process is unremarkable and everything you need comes in the box. This unit also includes a pen (which is often an extra-cost item with other models) in the box.
I did have a bit of a mishap with the pen - when I unscrewed the top to install the battery there is a tab of paper that contains some information and is fastened into the battery compartment. I pulled the tab thinking it was supposed to be removed prior to use and the battery spring came flying out! I never did find it and had to fashion a replacement to get good connectivity with the battery. Word to the wise - be careful!
After plugging the unit in and pressing the power switch you must endure the insufferable Windows 10 start-up "experience". Cortana begins chattering its head off as it walks you through the initial configuration and then finally dumps you into the Windows login screen. Then you get to enjoy the Windows 10 update process. This took nearly two hours even on this relatively spry machine.
None of this is a criticism of the Dell product. The laptop is relatively snappy (Intel i7 and SSD), the screen is bright and the sound is good.
In summary - a good solid laptop that deserves a long look.

Cord cutter's gateway with caveats!

The Mohu Sail is a Best Buy exclusive HD antenna designed for cord cutters. The unit is relatively small (compared to alternative HD antennas boasting this unit's gain) and has everything in the box to get you going. It even includes about 30 feet of cable and an in-line power injector for the built in amplifier that can be powered either from a USB port or by the included transformer. The unit can be mounted indoors or outdoors and is relatively unobtrusive compared to other antennas.
My mis-adventures began early. First - I was unable to locate the Sail on the vendor's website and it was only after some serious Google work that I found out that it was a Best Buy specific item. I then confirmed through a couple of different websites that the antenna should have no trouble connecting me to the transmission towers located 35 miles away.
I unboxed and assembled the unit, connected it to my TV and plugged in the power. I then had my television tuner auto scan for channels and.............. nothing. I spent the next several hours trying to relocate and repoint the antenna from the roof of my house. I do not have line-of-sight and there are rolling hills and some trees but based on the websites I thought I could get it to work. A friend who has a different antenna was picking up channels just fine from another site that is farther away (40-50 miles) so I tried that too. No joy...
I rechecked all the connections and plugged the power into a different source. There are no indicator lights of any kind but I tried it again. Nope.
I was about ready to surrender but though I'd try one more thing. I brought the entire setup into town and connected it to a TV at work. Bingo! Everything worked as advertised. Crystal clear pictures, great sound, all good.
The lesson I learned? Be careful trusting the various resources that suggest that any given antenna should work for you. These things are obviously sensitive to terrain and obstacles even with amplification and they also are sensitive to where they are pointed.
So, can I recommend this to a friend? Under the right conditions the aesthetics alone mean that you need to include it in your short list but be sure to do your homework!!!

Perfect for late night movie watching!

I have finally found a solution to watching my over-the-top action/adventure/fantasy movies late at night! I needed a way to enjoy my hobby without driving my spouse from the room and these Sennheiser headphones are the perfect solution.
They arrive very well packaged and include both RCA style and optical cables. As noted in other reviews, these are designed with a base unit that acts as a charger for the headphones and also where you attach your audio source. Assembling the unit and installing the rechargeable batteries (one per cup via a clever twisting earpad) was very easy. Although the headset is rather large they are adjustable and comfortable to wear.
I struggled a bit with getting them integrated into my home theater setup but finally was able to directly connect the base unit to my blu ray player via the optical cable. The sound quality is very good. You can also adjust volume from the headset itself and you get great separation and an almost surround like affect that is actually enhanced by the open-back design.
In summary - these are a very good option for anyone needing a solution to add a flexible, quality private listening option to their home entertainment system..

A solid, basic all-in-one printer.

I have to start by complimenting HP on their packaging. When the shipper dropped the product off it looked like it had been kicked all of the way from the factory to my front door! Amazingly, when I opened what remained of the box everything inside was intact and the printer fired up and operated with no problems.
Like most printers in this class this is a pretty basic device. It is intended for wireless operation. There is a USB port on the back but you will really want to use the app available for your cellphone or tablet to do the configuration, setup and calibration.
The unit includes a simple flat bed scanner on the top and it works fine. Not the fastest scanner around but more than adequate for casual use and the scanning quality is good.
The unit uses only two cartridges - one black and one multi-color. Installing the cartridges is quick and easy although the mechanism feels a little fragile. Print quality and speed are good. The paper tray is extremely small and the catch mechanism is simply a plastic arm that pivots out from the body.
Now the aggravations - the drivers you will need must be downloaded from HP's site and can be somewhat difficult to find IF you elect NOT to subscribe to HP's ink-on-demand program. Be prepared to be hounded to death about this as you proceed. Be patient - it is possible to get everything working without having to sign up but it will take you some time.
All-in-all, a decent printer in an increasingly crowded class of budget devices.

These are a great choice for anyone looking for an easy-to-configure set of noise cancelling headphones! The fit and finish are excellent, they are easy to adjust and are very comfortable to wear.
The packaging is very good and almost everything you need is in the box, including a detachable cable if you don't want to run them wirelessly. You can charge them from a standard cellphone charger and the the runtime is impressive.
Connecting to them via bluetooth was painless and the audio quality is very good. Interaction with my Samsung cellphone was great. The noise cancelling feature is right up there with my QC35s.

Let me begin by saying that I am reasonably competent with tech and have used other manufacturers' sound bars in the past. Then, as now, I do not recommend them as an alternative to a full blown, AV receiver and discrete speakers solution. However, there are simply times and places where a good sound bar is the only practical solution.
Polk speakers are well known and regarded in the industry and that is part of the reason that I am so surprised and disappointed with this product.
Let's start with the positive - the packaging is creative and very well designed. Every item is protected not just with molded styrofoam but also with individual cloth-like coverings.The unit is very lightweight (even the subwoofer) and the low profile allows you to place the soundbar in front of your TV without blocking the screen (unless it's the SONY A1E!). The package includes a complement of cables including optical and high speed HDMI (very welcome!). A nice remote is also included.
Now the bad stuff....
Setting the unit up was very difficult. The manufacturer has abdicated setup to the Google Home App which is great when it works, but a total pain when it stumbles. To be fair - Polk is not at fault for Google's app but when that is the sole tool provided for setup... well, let's just say that it was a frustrating afternoon. I did finally get the soundbar to show up in the app but there was no real way to troubleshoot the problems after that. There appears to be no way to force a firmware update. You are simply instructed to wait overnight!
My first go-to was the Internet. The "support" there is virtually non-existent. The only visual cues offered on the soundbar are a group of unlabeled LEDs that indicate different things based on what you are trying to do and are virtually worthless.
Specifically what problems am I having? Well, the unit doesn't always want to connect to the wireless subwoofer, it also randomly enters a sleep state and requires me to manually turn the power on. Worst of all, when connected vis HDMI it suffers from random audio dropouts. I have confirmed this with two different sources. At this point I simply ran out of patience.
This product is one of what I would call an "upper mid-range" solution. It is reasonable to have some higher expectations at its price point and unfortunately it falls short.
My suggestion - try another soundbar or, better yet, opt for a discrete solution!
Polk speakers are well known and regarded in the industry and that is part of the reason that I am so surprised and disappointed with this product.
Let's start with the positive - the packaging is creative and very well designed. Every item is protected not just with molded styrofoam but also with individual cloth-like coverings.The unit is very lightweight (even the subwoofer) and the low profile allows you to place the soundbar in front of your TV without blocking the screen (unless it's the SONY A1E!). The package includes a complement of cables including optical and high speed HDMI (very welcome!). A nice remote is also included.

First things first - this scanner is primarily designed to automatically scan sheets of printed pages at a high speed. It is NOT a replacement for your general flatbed scanner. If your requirement is to be able to scan non-standard sized documents such as assorted photographs or pages from a bound book you will want a different product.
Having said that - if you are looking for a smoking fast, compact scanner capable of scanning both sides of a document in a single pass this is a product worthy of your consideration. The packaging provides a secure, protective environment for getting your scanner to you in good condition. The "in-the-box" extras are virtually non-existent and you will need to go on-line to get your required drivers.
Connectivity options are good - USB, wired or wireless LAN and the unit is very compact. You won't tie up a bunch of desktop real estate.
So - if you are looking for a very fast, duplexing scanner that will allow you to archive documents, you need to take a look!

There is no mic stand included. There is a mic mount that follows the familiar U shaped broadcast format. It has both a standard thread and an adapter for smaller mount points.

Is this the built in WiFi version or is this the WiFi bridge version?
The unit has Wi-Fi built in. It connected to my 2.4Ghz network without any issues. No special bridging hardware was needed.

How to Recharge battery and what type for？ Is there a charging stand need to buy?
The battery is easily removable and has a mini-usb style charging port. I believe it is Lithium Ion and no separate charging stand is needed.

what are the dimensions of the keypad side? my front door has some designs on it that might be in the way of the keypad.

Does the bolt come out on the right side or the left? My door opens to the left, so I need it to come out on the right side of the outside piece.
The design allows for both right hand and left hand doors. The bolt is notated with an "up" stamp and the mechanism has a locking knob that has emblems on both sides of the interior panel so that you can twist it either clockwise or counter-clockwise to work the bolt.
