I was looking for a space-saving computer due to the limited space I have available. I’ve never owned an all-in-one so decided its time to get one at a reasonable price with good specs. The Dell Inspiron 24” AiO model 5415 has fit that bill perfectly. I’m not a gamer, I use this mostly for business, Zoom meetings, real estate listings, etc. For my needs it has performed wonderfully. This AiO has a AMD Ryzen™ 5 processor coupled with 8 gigs of RAM and it is more than capable for my purposes. Its very quick and responsive as I usually have many programs running at the same time. I’m just in the beginning phases of using the touch screen capabilities. I’m old school and have used a mouse forever, but I’m starting to really like the touchscreen. And I definitely appreciate the anti-fingerprint screen. It’s a matte finish and I see no glare from my windows, lights, etc. The included keyboard is a nice size for my hands as its rather wide and the keys are nice and responsive. The included mouse is no frills but gets the job done just fine. I do wish the keyboard was backlit but I'll make do without or replace it eventually. And the screen size is perfect for my space with great clarity and vibrant saturation of colors. I also love the pop-up camera which stores away nicely when not in use. Overall I have really been enjoying this AiO and the functionality it provides for my business and the applications I use. Highly recommended.

As a guitar player for decades, I am very familiar with Marshall amplifiers and speaker cabinets. They are legendary and iconic. I had no idea Marshall also made Bluetooth speakers, so when I came across the Middleton I absolutely had to have one. I figured as good as their guitar speakers are their Bluetooth speakers would have to be great, too, right? RIGHT! This little speaker brings the sound in a big way. Deep booming base, clear highs, and it gets loud for its smallish size. I've owned many Bluetooth speakers over the years and con honestly say this one has the best sound I've ever heard from a speaker in this size range.
The controls are very intuitive and I like the feel of the exterior, a sort of rubbery shell surrounding it, very pleasing to the touch and easy to grip. The carrying strap is not necessary for my purposes but I suppose would be handy for some. Its just extraneous to me.
My only semi-gripe is the battery level. The instructions say you get a full charge after 4.5 hours. I charged the speaker for over 8 hours and never got to full bars, only got to 9 of the 10 battery lights and the lights kept cycling upwards which to me indicates it is still charging. It doesn’t concern me at all, just an observation that I’m unsure about.
And as an added bonus, whenever you power up or power down the Middleton doesn’t give you a “beep”, it gives you a cool little guitar riff. Nice touch, Marshall. I highly recommend this speaker for its sound and transportability. Great product!

Let me start this review by saying I’m a lousy cook. My wife, on the other hand, is a GREAT cook which is why I kind of never went down that road. It would take years for me to learn and do what she can do, so I always figured why bother? But then I figured maybe she could use a break now and then, and when I saw the Ninja Woodfire it seemed like this could help.
A couple of first impressions, when I received the Ninja I was surprised by its size. Its actually rather compact. Maybe I was used to seeing our barbeque grill and expected it to be larger. But it has plenty of capacity for cooking a meal for my wife and I and our kids, just not as much grill space as a big barbeque grill. I think its size would be great for use in, say, an RV or for tailgating. Its also solid as a rock and rather heavy at 30 pounds. Setup was easy, just have to attach the handles, insert the drip tray and the grill grate and you’re ready to start cooking.
Included in the box are, among other things, two packages of wood pellets for smoking and a Quick Start Guide and recipe book. The guide book is super helpful. It has charts in the back for just about anything you will cook and gives you the settings such as temperature, cooking time, etc., for any type of meat, poultry, fish, vegetables, you name it. I’ve had the grill for a week now and have used it three times and this booklet has been extremely helpful to a rookie cook like myself.
For my first meal I kept it simple with just a couple of pre-made patties from the grocery store and added salt and pepper, that’s it. I followed the settings per the Quick Start Guide and once the preheat cycle was complete I started cooking. Halfway through the cooking cycle the Ninja will beep at you and display the message letting you know its time to flip the burgers. So how did they turn out? No joke, those burgers were great! They had a really nice char on the outside, medium/medium rare on inside, and were absolutely delicious.
Next up I followed the recipe in the included recipe book for pork shoulder. Again, simple has heck, just followed the settings per the recipe and let them slow cook for 4 hours. The smoke produced by the Ninja is substantial, but I did have to add pellets twice during the 4 hours because the tray that holds the pellets is not that large. But the pork shoulder turned out terrific, see the attached picture. Again, beautiful char on the outside and delicious!
A couple of final thoughts, clean-up of the non-stick grill plate is a breeze, same with cleaning the grease trap/tray, it wipes right off. I’ve already bought the Ninja cover for it, it was only $20. It fits perfectly and keeps it clean outdoors. Ninja also sells a stand for this grill but at $179 at the time of this review I’m gonna have to pass on that and will just keep using my countertop.
I also love that its electric. No propane to deal with, having to refill the tanks, tanks running out while you’re cooking, that kind of thing. As I said, its still my first week with the Ninja so I haven’t had a chance to use the air fryer, dehydration to make jerky, or use some of the other functions so I look forward to that. But for someone who doesn’t know how to cook like me, the Ninja Woodfire is awesome and the food I’ve made so far gives the impression that I know what I’m doing. I love this product and can’t wait to use it again!

I got this coffee maker to replace a cheap coffee maker of a different brand that was frustrating and cumbersome to use. Happily, this coffee maker is the complete opposite; its very easy to use and works flawlessly. Upon opening the box, the packaging was excellent and setup was quick. I live in the Mile High City so one of the first adjustments it walks you through during setup is adjusting for altitude to ensure the proper water temperature. Once that was done I ran a full pot of water through to clean it out per the instructions then on to brewing my first coffee. Rather than brewing into the carafe I like to brew straight into my 20 oz. travel mug which is rather tall and my previous coffee maker would not accommodate it. My travel mug fits this coffee maker perfectly with no dripping or splashing outside of the mug. It has a beverage size dial so adjusting from a single cup to a full carafe to my favorite setting of 20 ounces is quick and easy.
The coffee maker brews quicker than my previous maker so that was also a bonus, and if I get impatient it has a Drip Stop lever which works perfectly. It has several settings for the strength of the coffee you’d like ranging from Light to Gold to Bold. I’ve tried the Gold and Bold settings and honestly didn’t taste much of a difference. Its also a very attractive appliance and blends in well with our other stainless appliances. Overall, I’m very pleased with this coffee makers. It works perfectly, is easily adjusted for whatever you’d like to brew, and it looks great to boot. 5 stars.

We've owned, and still do, several Shark products from the handheld Wandvac up to the full-sized units. This unit falls right in the middle of them in terms of size, power, and price. It is surprisingly powerful for its size and is an excellent tool for cleaning up after our two dogs. One of them is shedding quite a bit at this time of the year and this product is very handy for quick cleanups and vacuuming up my dog's shedding hair clumps. It comes with a nice stand/charging station which ensures its always fully charged when we need to use it. It does a great job on our wood floors and also works quite well on our carpeted areas due to the brush roller. It also comes in very handy when vacuuming out my car. Just separate the handheld unit from the extension and I can get into much tighter quarters. Its a larger handheld unit than my other Shark (see comparison in attached pictures) and because of that the suction is quite a bit stronger. The debris holder is also larger and empties with a simple touch of the button. Overall its a great tool for around the house at an affordable price.

It has been awhile since I installed a new disposer. While the instructions are decent there are plenty of good how-to installation videos which makes it pretty straightforward. Overall, the install was simple. However, I did have to make a run to the hardware store as the drain pipe was too short to connect to the disposer. My previous disposer was wider than this one, not a big deal, but when you are installing this disposer if you get a direct fit then consider yourself lucky.
Many disposers are not hard-wired, you have to remove the electric cord from the existing disposer and install it on to your new one. Not the Smart Choice, its already hardwired with the plug in place ready to go. As far as parts go, everything is included except a disposer key. The one you see in the attached picture is from my previous disposer. Its not absolutely essential, when connecting the disposer to the sink you could twist the connecting ring on top using a screwdriver, but the keys are a little more convenient.
When first turning it on, it does make a bit of a loud “pop” but according to the instructions “The Anti-jam Swivel Impellers make a clicking sound as they initially swing into place. As far as disposing goes, yeah, it definitely makes short work of anything you put into it. Regarding loudness of the disposer, its fairly quite but honestly I don’t think its that much quieter than our previous ¾ HP disposer. But this one has an extra half a horsepower at 1 ¼ HP so yes, its powerful.
It does come with a lifetime warranty so that's a bonus. Overall, its a very good disposer, perhaps not as quiet as I had hoped but that's probably because of how powerful it is. I'd recommend it.

I just received and hooked up this monitor and I gotta say, it is very impressive. Took maybe two minutes to put it together, Samsung has made this process very simple.
I love the adjustability of the monitor. The stand allows it to adjust the entire screen vertically about 6 inches up/down, which comes in very handy for my purposes. It also swivels left/right and tilts up/down so it’s a very flexible monitor.
Colors are vibrant and bright. Various picture modes are available and if you don’t like one of those its completely customizable to your liking.
Previous to having this monitor, I had my external speakers plugged into the headphone jack of my laptop and when I’d play Youtube videos, for example, there was always a 2-3 second delay before the sound would start playing. I never could figure out why it did that and it was super annoying. Now that my speakers are plugged directly into this monitor that delay is completely gone. Love that!
Overall, it’s a fantastic monitor and it certainly gets my recommendation.

Excellent projector/picture, some sound issues

I got this projector to replace an older one I have mounted to the ceiling in my theater room figuring new technology must deliver a better picture these days. And that turned out to be absolutely true, the picture from this projector is outstanding. Very bright, vivid, and crystal clear. The attached photo was taken during the day in a brightly lit room with overhead lights on, and one can see the excellent picture quality.
But for my theater room setup with a ceiling mount it was far from ‘plug and play’. I was not able to just remove the old projector, connect the new projector to the ceiling mount, plug in the cables and fire it up. Oh no. Turns out the distance of the ceiling mount was too far back from the projector screen so the projector's throw was bleeding the picture quite a ways outside of the screen. I minimized the picture as much as possible using the slider on the projector but it was still throwing out a much larger projected image than my screen is (120 inches). So rather than relocating my existing projector mount which involves redrilling holes, moving cables, patching existing holes, etc., I decided to just buy a new ceiling mount (white, to match the projector color). If you’ve never done it before, mounting a projector on the ceiling is a whole thing. Lots of measuring making sure everything is right, finding the studs to drill into for a secure mount, not to mention running/hiding the cables, then dialing in the projected image on to your screen to make sure its all good. So after several hours getting it all dialed in, it is absolutely awesome. In the attached picture you can see that there is still some picture bleeding outside of my screen and frame, so I ended up having to add an additional boarder around the frame with black velvet to soak up the overflow. It was either that or re-mount the ceiling mount on the next joist 16 inches closer, pick your poison.
Anyway, back to the projector. The fan is fairly quiet, comparable to my previous projectors, and the projector speakers are pretty good although I have no reason to use them since I'm connected to a surround sound system. Which brings me to my only complaint: when the projector is set to Android TV functions for the life of me I cannot get sound output from my Marantz stereo receiver and speakers. If I’m connected via HDMI and Xfinity TV, my stereo sound is great from the receiver/speakers. From researching it seems I can only use the projector's audio-out port to connect to my stereo which would require a 50 ft cable and tearing up drywall to run the cable, or to connect via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker system which I do not want to do in my theater room since my receiver and speakers rock. For this reason I’m knocking off one star.
So at the end of the day, Android functions are not useable in my setup, but for everything else it is exceptional.

Got this laptop for my daughter, here are her thoughts:
I’ve only had this laptop for a few days but it has completely blown me away in comparison to my previous laptop. Setup was very easy and straightforward and once up an running its performance has been amazing! The graphics and rendering are very smooth. When playing games on my previous laptop, for example, Phasmaphobia, it was very glitchy and hard to move around. Movement was very choppy. This laptop is like butter, everything runs extremely smoothly. I love the keyboard, the keys are very responsive and the speakers are surprisingly good for a laptop although I’ll likely still use my headphones most of the time. Next year I’m off to college where I’ll be studying graphic design. With the processing power this laptop delivers I figure it is going to be an incredibly useful tool. Its not heavy or bulky so it will be great for taking it to and from classes. Overall, by far the best laptop I’ve ever had. Thanks Dad!

It’s a very fun camera. The quality of the pictures seems to vary. They show up best when the pictures are taken close-up with the flash on. Otherwise, the lighting needs to be very bright for the best results. The pictures take a little while to show up, but it’s worth the wait. I think the picture quality is much better than it used to be. When you’re able to get a good picture, it shows up very smoothly. It’s really good for having instant physical memories and I’d really recommend it for teenagers/young adults. If you’re looking for a high quality photo, this wouldn’t be the best choice. But it’s very fun once you know how to take the picture.

Its the diameter of the stove. The height is 16 and 3/4's when installed on the base.

Has anyone used these for running? I'm worried they won't stay in my ears...
I just finished a 7 mile run with these headphones, the outside temperature was 31 degrees, so I was wearing a knit cap. When running with the cap on the headphones stayed in place very well and required no adjusting or pushing them back into my ears. I also did a test without wearing the knit cap where I found the headphones did start to work themselves out of my ears after a few minutes. I’m 6’2” 205 pounds and not the smoothest runner so this probably had something to do with that, plus the fact that these headphones have a little more size and weight to them than others I’ve had in the past, no doubt due to the construction which helps them deliver that excellent bass sound.

They are water resistant, not waterproof, I would not shower with these.
