This is a great antenna that fits flat to the wall and is super easy to install. The antenna has two sides, one black and one white. Either side can be faced outward to fit your home decor or you can paint over the white side for a totally discreet look. The antenna can be mounted to your wall with the included push pins or can be mounted to a window with the included Velcro stickers.
The Mohu website says that I should get 15 channels in my zip code area / street address, but I was only able to pick up 11 channels. I've tried 3 different positions over the course of a week, reprogramming the television channels each time I move it, but every position I try only gives me 11 channels. This is the same amount of channels I used to get with a cheaper antenna that I already own but I will stick with the Mohu since it's much more discreet and can plug into my television USB port for power.
Even though I'm 4 channels short of what I thought I would get I still really like this antenna and would recommend it to anyone looking for an easy to install, discreet antenna that can be powered with your television USB port.

Renting a house with an older stove can be a pain, especially when the oven heats unevenly and leaks heat from the sides of the door. In comes the DeLonghi Livenza convection oven to the rescue. The DeLonghi fits conveniently on my countertop and can be used for just about anything that I would put into my normal household oven. The preprogrammed options are a breeze to use and everything I’ve cooked so-far has come out wonderfully. I do recommend reading the instruction manual thoroughly as this is not your typical countertop oven and it’s good to familiarize yourself with the controls and warnings before getting started.
Pros:
Easy to use controls - The knobs are mostly self-explanatory and once you’ve gotten use to it, it’s very easy to use.
Even cooking with great results- I’ve cooked a couple frozen pizzas, a homemade fresh pizza, sugar cookies and some roasted vegetables. Everything came out evenly cooked and delicious!
Efficiency - This oven heats up quickly and you actually don’t have to preheat it for frozen pizzas, which is a win! The double pane glass on the door helps to hold the heat in without leakage. The sides of the oven and top do get hot but only to the touch.
One-touch Temperature reading - Just press the button and it tells you what the current temperature is inside the oven.
Easy to clean - The stainless steel exterior wipes down easily and the trays/rack are dishwasher safe.
Easy to use controls - The knobs are mostly self-explanatory and once you’ve gotten use to it, it’s very easy to use.

Other Notes:
The instruction booklet says not to use the oven for more than 60 continuous minutes within a 2 hour period of time. Which is sort of confusing when the DeLonghi recipe app has a recipe for twice baked potatoes that calls for a 90 minute total cooking time.

There is a digital clock, which is great, however it has to be reset whenever the unit is unplugged. Not such a bad thing as I would normally leave this plugged in all the time except that there is a sticker on the back of the unit and a warning in the booklet that says not to leave plugged in when not in use. So I guess I have to reset the clock every time I want to use it or just leave it plugged in and possibly void the warranty?
This model only comes with one wire rack. I was disappointed because having 2 racks means I could cook twice as many cookies or 2 pizzas at one time, etc. There is a note that says you can buy an additional rack however I cannot find this for sale anywhere, not even on the manufacturers website.
There are 2 large rubber bumpers on the rear and 2 small bumpers on the side. This is great for pushing it against the wall when not cooking but don’t really serve much purpose while cooking as the instructions say to pull it away from the wall when cooking.
Overall this is an excellent oven that I will get a lot of use from. Hopefully they will start selling the accessories for it so that I can get an additional wire rack but even if they don’t it’s still a solid oven with great features that I will recommend to friends.

The best Chromebook on the Market!

I’m very pleased with my new Google Pixelbook. This is a beautiful, lightweight, quiet, superfast 4 in 1 laptop that is the perfect companion to my Pixel XL phone. It really set’s itself apart from other Chromebooks with it’s amped up specs and super sleek design. The laptop feels great in your hands and is perfectly sized to carry in one hand along with a notebook or pad of paper. I go to a lot of meetings at work and have been taking this with me for taking notes and will most likely use it for various presentations going forward. I love that you can just swipe inward from the upper right corner when it’s locked to go right into note taking mode.
The battery life is rated at 10 hours. I think I came pretty close to that but it did fall short just a bit, I would say between 8-10 hours, depending on usage. The battery does charge pretty quickly though and you can get about 2 hours of light usage from a 15 minute charge. There are 2 USB-C ports, one on each side, that can be used for charging. The top of keyboard part of the laptop does get a little warm after some hours of continuous usage but nothing compared to previous laptops I’ve used and there is no annoying fan to listen too, which is really nice.
They keyboard is smooth, makes the clicking noise I love and is very easy to use. There are some minor differences from a standard keyboard such as not having a caps lock key and with the included search and Google assistant keys, but they have taken no time to get used to and I really like the set-up. The keys light up depending on your light conditions but I’ve found this to be somewhat unreliable when in a room with various light sources and/or shadows, the keyboard light will come on, then go off often. Luckily this is easy to override and you can manually adjust the keyboard lighting to fit your needs. I really like the rubber pads on either side of the trackpad as they give a comfortable place to rest my wrists when typing. They also serve as foot pads when the computer is in tablet or entertainment mode, so that they keys aren’t constantly pressed.
The screen is absolutely beautiful with a very accurate touch screen functionality and a 2400 x 1600 screen resolution. I haven’t been able to find a screen protector made by one of the top brands yet but hopefully one will be coming out soon. Even if I don’t get a screen protector I should be okay given the fact that this screen is made from the same Gorilla glass that many premium smartphones use.
I do have a Pixel XL and for some reason have been having problems with the instant tethering. The Pixelbook recognizes my phone and asks if I want to connect but then it says there was a problem and is not able to connect. I’m still able to create a Hotspot with my Pixel XL and connect that way though. I’ve tried researching my problem and it seems that others have experienced the same, hopefully and update or further research will correct whatever issue there may be.
The Google Assistant is a great feature and one that I have gotten a lot of use from with my Pixel XL. You can create custom commands and even change the way you call upon it by saying “Hey Google” instead of “Okay Google”. For some reason that extra syllable in saying “okay” vs. “hey” makes all the difference. Saying “Hey” is just better in my opinion, LOL.
Overall this is an amazing laptop that has been beautifully designed. It can’t do everything a traditional laptop can do but it’s perfect for what I need. I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a reliable, easy to use, laptop. If you are going to get a Chromebook, do yourself a favor and make it a Pixelbook.

The Blendtec Classic Series 575 blender is a fantastic beast! This blender has a lot of power with it’s 1575W, 3.0 peak horsepower motor, it should be able to tackle any job you can throw at it. From nut butters to smoothies, frozen treats to hot soup, this Blendtec can do it all. Please note that this blender is of professional quality and has an all-metal drive train for lasting durability and an 8 year warranty however the manual says that commercial use will void the warranty, something to keep in mind incase you want to purchase this for a small business.
I love how easy this unit is to clean. The two blades, which are permanently attached to the jar, are dull wing-tip blades. Having dull blades means you don’t have to worry about cutting yourself when hand washing the jar. Even if food gets stuck under the blades it’s extremely easy to clean! The base has a flat surface electronic control panel that makes it easy to wipe down with a warm damp cloth. No dials or knobs to clean around and behind on this blender.
Don’t let the dull blades fool you though, with the rotational force from the 1575 watt motor, there is enough power to pulverize any ingredient you put into it without needing to be chopped up by sharp blades.
I really like having the preprogrammed, one-button blending cycles available on this blender and I like that there is a small LED panel indicating how much time is left on the cycle. I also like that there is an on/off switch on the back of the base which allows you to keep it plugged in if you plan to use it daily or more frequently.
The lid that comes with the included jar isn’t my favorite, it fits snugly onto the jar however I did notice some minor splash/leakage from the sides of the lid and from the center clear vented lid. It was very minor but worth mentioning.
All and all this is an great blender with amazing power that should last you many years! I will definitely recommend this to friends and family.

The Arlo Pro 2 wireless home security cameras are a great addition to my house. Having these cameras means that I can now look in on my dogs when I am away from home, I know when packages are delivered and I can tell if anyone is snooping around. The system includes an extremely loud alarm that can be activated using the app or set to activate when motion is detected. Be careful testing this alarm because it is deafeningly loud, which is great! The added security and peace of mind is well worth the cost in my opinion. Plus you get 7 days of free cloud recordings and have the option of adding up to two USB flash drives for backup storage. The app is user friendly and has a lot of great options for setting up motion detection, alerts, geo-fencing and more.
The cameras were really easy to set up but I wish the included mounts were held to the wall with more than one screw each, it seems stable but at this price an extra screw would be nice. The picture quality is fantastic and you can zoom in and pan around using the app. The motion detection works perfectly and can send you notifications and/or emails when motion is detected. If you hardwire the cameras you can set specific motion zones so that it will only send an alert if motion is detected in that specific zone. The battery life is supposed to last for up to 4 months but I suspect I’ll have to charge them about once per month based on my current usage. This isn’t too bad for me, they are in easy to reach locations and charge with the included USB cord on any outlet. I like that Arlo is an expandable home security system that allows me to buy additional cameras and accessories as they become available. I’ve been so impressed with the system that I’m considering getting a couple more cameras this coming Black Friday. I owned a Hoover many years ago that always worked very really well and I know Hoover is a company that’s been doing this for a very long time so I was excited to try the new Hoover React cordless stick vacuum.
The box the React came in wasn’t the easiest to get open and the packaging could have been a little better but it didn’t take too long to get unboxed and it’s a one time experience, so not a big deal. The battery does not arrive fully charged, due to restrictions on shipping fully charged batteries, so I had to charge it for a couple hours before the first use.
Running the vacuum is a breeze, I really like the trigger style power button Hoover designed. Press and hold the trigger for a one-time quick use or press the trigger twice for continuous suction. There are three modes available; Brush On, Brush Off and Floor Sense. A soft-touch button is used to change between modes and there is a lighted display indicating “Floor Sense” or “Brush Off”. Neither text will be lit when the brush is on continuous mode. There is also a battery level light, displayed as a ring divided into four sections so you know how much power you have remaining while vacuuming.
The React is very lightweight and maneuvers extremely well, easily reaching under tables and furniture. The unit glides over the carpet and onto hard floors. Not being attached to a cord while vacuuming, in combination with the lightweight and maneuverability makes vacuuming the house a faster, more enjoyable chore. I do have to mention that the wheels on the React can be a little squeaky when pulling the vacuum backward. I noticed that I can limit and eliminate this squeaky noise by pulling the vacuum backward more slowly, but that’s not really the pace I'm used to, so it’s a bit of an annoyance for me. I might try to oil the wheels to see if that helps.
The suction is great, it tackles pretty much everything in it’s way including dog hair and small debris. The “Floor Sense” technology is a really nice addition, the vacuum automatically changes mode depending on what type of floor you are cleaning. It works well, changing mode within about 1-2 seconds when moving from carpet to hard floor and taking up to 5 seconds when moving back onto the carpet. I did notice that when on the carpet for a long period of time, while using Floor Sense mode, the brush will turn off for about 5 seconds then come back on periodically.
Cleaning my three bedroom house, floors and walls, with the attachments, used about ¾ of the battery. Although one battery charge was sufficient for my house, I think this unit should have come with an additional battery at this price point. Also, the battery charging dock is much larger than other stick vacuums I’ve seen. I had to empty the dirt cup multiple times. The area between the cup wall and the filter is small and my dog’s hair and other debris gets trapped. Knocking the cup on the trash can doesn’t work and I have to reach in and pull the hair out with my fingers. Hoover should have included a tool to get this out or made the dirt cup just a little larger to allow for more space.
The app is more for people who own a robotic Hoover vacuum and I don’t see myself ever using it.
The React does not stand up on it’s own but does balance easily on the wall or against your furniture if you need to stop or change attachments. You could also just lay it on the floor. It comes with a plastic resting station wall bracket that can be mounted to a wall in your house with screws. The holder keeps the vacuum standing up and also holds a couple of the attachments.
The attachments are fantastic! It comes with five different cleaning tools and a pivoting extension attachment. The powered stair tool is really great, it’s an actual powered mini brush that spins very quickly. Not only does it work great on stairs it also pulls dog hair up and out of our fabric furniture and my car seats very well. The crevice tool is really nice too, it has a flexible extending tube that pulls out for extra reach and it's made of a soft rubber material that won’t scratch your furniture or walls. Using this vacuum as a hand held with all of these great tools really helps you to clean every nook and cranny in your home.
Hoover does have some room for improvement on this model but overall this is a very easy to use, multi-functional vacuum that will come in handy for many different chores. The suction is powerful, the included tools are really nice and the battery life is sufficient.

Truly wireless headphones!

I would like to start by saying that these are exactly what I’ve been looking for from a set of bluetooth headphones. These Jaybird Run headphones are very comfortable and extremely liberating without having a cord or something laying on the back of my neck. I knew the moment I started using these that they were totally unique in design compared to other headphones I’ve used in the past.
I really like the charging case for the headphones, it's sleek, shaped like a large pill and is very portable in my opinion. I know that others have commented that the charging case is bulky but I think it’s perfect. I typically leave it in my car or my gym bag and just put the headphones in my pocket if I’m not using them. I charged the case when I first got these and have been using them everyday for just over a week for about 40 minutes a day. Opening the case will instantly pair them to your phone so all you have to do is pop them in your ears and you’re ready to listen!
The Jaybird Run headphones come with a variety of in-ear and outer-ear silicone tips and fin sizes that are easily changed. I have worn these for up to an hour without any ear fatigue, I’m sure I could wear them much longer as these are very light weight and much more comfortable than you would expect.
The volume is impressive for their size but do not get as loud as some other headphones, which is okay for me. The sound quality is nice and works great for the gym and when running on the trail. Be sure to download the app because it really improves the sound quality and allows you to adjust the audio in detail. The bluetooth on these is good but requires you to keep your phone on you while using the headphones to avoid disconnection, it doesn’t have a very far reach so use an armband or keep your phone in your pocket. I always have my phone in my pocket anyway so this was a non-issue for me.
I’ve been pretty happy with these headphones and am very excited to finally be 100% cord free! I will recommend these to friends and family who are looking for an upgrade to their corded headphones.

Enjoy up to 10 hours of wireless audio with these Sony noise-canceling headphones. These Sony 1000X headphones are the best behind the neck earbud headphones I’ve used to date. I was instantly impressed with the sound quality which rivals that of many over the ear headphones. The dual drivers really help to deliver crisp, clear sound that allows you to enjoy all the subtleties in your music. These headphones are optimized for hi-res audio with S-Master HX. I highly recommend you take advantage of the hi-res audio by either downloading some hi-res tracks and/or finding a subscription service that offers hi-res audio, you really can tell the difference and is worth it.
The noise cancelling works amazingly well and is in a class of it’s own when paired with all of the features available through the app. There are many customizable options including “Smart Listening” and “Ambient Mode”. I haven't had a chance to experience the atmospheric pressure optimizing noise cancellation feature yet but I do travel frequently and look forward to using it on my next flight.

The earbud wires press and wrap into crevices that run along each side of the collar, this helps to reduce the chance of pulling on the wires when stored.
I’m extremely pleased with these headphones, a longer battery life would be nice but it’s definitely not a deal breaker considering everything else I’m getting. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of wireless behind the ear headphones!

The earbud wires press and wrap into crevices that run along each side of the collar, this helps to reduce the chance of pulling on the wires when stored.
I’m extremely pleased with these headphones, a longer battery life would be nice but it’s definitely not a deal breaker considering everything else I’m getting. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a new pair of wireless behind the ear headphones!

The Epson EX9220 wireless projector performs exceptionally and is perfect for any office, meeting or individual with data projection needs. This projector also works well for projecting video and high quality graphics however it’s not quite a home cinema projector, make sure to get one of those if that is what you are looking for. The image quality is sharp and the colors are vivid with a high range of color and accuracy. I’ve projected a variety of documents, photos and video from both my laptop and cellphone and have not been disappointed. You do have to download the Epson iProjection app or have Miracast capability to project wirelessly and do screen mirroring but everything worked well for me after a little bit of reading and set-up. The lamp is very bright and the picture can be seen well with the lights on in the room. The built-in speakers sound good but I actually ended up linking to a nice external bluetooth speaker from my device for a couple projects that required a better sound quality. The projector comes with a couple different connection cables, the remote and a lightweight carrying bag for portability. The projector, cables and remote all fit in the provided bag. The projector itself is also lightweight, about 6 lbs, and is easily moved and positioned for an impromptu meeting in a room with no projector. I definitely recommend this projector to anyone who needs a new, high quality, data projector with a variety of connection capabilities.

The Bose SoundLink Micro speaker is the best sounding pocket sized bluetooth speaker I’ve heard yet. This speaker really sounds like it’s coming from a much larger unit and fills the room nicely, it’s fantastic. The sound quality is much louder and richer than other speakers in this category and probably outperforms many larger bluetooth speakers. I love the IPX7 rating which protects against splashes, rain, and temporary submersion in water. The casing is made of a smooth and rugged silicone shell that seems like it can take a beating and hold up well. I like the stretchable strap on that back that allows me to attach it to my backpack strap, belt-loop, tent pole, or other places. This speaker can be operated using the Bose app, which will allow it to connect to another Bose speaker to sync in party mode and produce stereo sound, which is great if you have another Bose speaker. You can also operate the speaker without using the app.
I’m extremely pleased with the Bose SoundLink Micro speaker. The sound quality is top of the line for it’s size. The size is perfect and the design is ruggedly simple. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to pay a little bit of a higher price for a premium bluetooth speaker that’s sure to last many years.

Build quality: This phone is solid in your hand from the moment you pick it up. The aluminum body feels solid and the phone has enough weight behind it to sit comfortably in your hand. I was concerned about the glass portion of the back panel, as I cringed every time I put the phone down on a solid surface, but it has endured very well so far and beyond adding a little flair it helps to quickly identify the top from bottom of the phone as I bring it out of my pocket. The front screen is probably the best screen I have ever used on a smart phone, colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and I would put it up against any screen that Apple or Samsung produce. It would really be nice if this was IP 67 rated for water resistance and dust resistance.
Performance: The new Qualcomm 821 processor doesn’t seem leaps and bounds above the older 820 model, but there are times where it is noticeable. Transitions are smooth, scrolling is faster and more responsive, and the phone overall just seems more fluid. The finger print reader is very quick. The camera does load faster than my old phone, but isn’t instant.
Software: The new launcher is very smooth. Took a little bit of time to get used to the “pull up” for the app drawer, but it seems much more natural than the old app drawer button. The Google assistant is nice, but seems to be a slightly more powerful Google now… I expect this will get better over time, but right now seems to be a little basic. Verizon did a great job with the phone’s “bloatware”. I haven’t “noticed” the applications and it seems that they can be uninstalled if I want to. (good job guys). Everything seems to work really well, and the 3D touch is really nice for the applications it works with right now (mostly google apps) but as with most of the software, it will just get better with time.
Camera: This is hands down the best camera I have ever used on a phone. I was worried about the lack of OIS (optical image stabilization) but after seeing how well the EIS performs, it really isn’t a concern anymore. Photos look amazing, the stabilization is awesome, and the HDR+ mode is so fast, I do not even know it’s on. Combined with the unlimited Google photos storage, I really don’t mind the 32GB storage size. Low light photos are amazing and the autofocus is fast. Colors look amazing. I really can’t say enough about this thing. I do wish it had OIS to cover those situations where EIS struggles (lose some details in low light with HDR+ and shaky hands) but I do not think it’s needed overall.
Battery: bottom line, rock solid. I run my phones hard, and normally have to charge them in the car to and from work. (sometimes even at work). But no issues with this Pixel XL. The Qualcomm 821 processor combined with the OLED screen seem to have really helped battery life out. I am looking at 18 hours of life today alone and that’s with about 7 hours of screen time on.)
If you are in the market for a phone, and you have the money, this phone will not disappoint.

No, it does not. The chicken I cooked took about 22 minutes and had no burned/chared areas at all. It's still a great grill, you just have to get used to the non open flame taste for some things.

When is this going to be available to order? Keeps on saying sold out online
I was able to snag one Open-Box online, and it was delivered the next day. I tried like 20 times and finally was able to get one. I just kept checking the site like every hour and adding it to my cart and trying to check out, lol. Persistence pays. :) The unit I received still had all the plastic wrap and my guess is that whoever owned it before me only had it to review it. Keep tyring!!
