Powerful, Portable, Flexible and 2 Rollers!

The Shark IONFlex DuoClean is an amazing little stick vacuum with lots of reach and portability. There is a lot of power in this vacuum, combined with it’s light weight, this vacuum really pulls itself across the floor. I love having a cordless vacuum now, it makes vacuuming just a little less of a chore for me. I do have pets though, so with the small canister, it fills up quickly. Which means either more frequent vacuuming, or emptying the canister a few times when vacuuming my entire house. Pet hair does get caught up in the roller however that seems to happen with all vacuums and Shark gives you very easy access to clean the rollers so it’s not a big deal. Pet hair also gets wrapped up around the filter in the canister but it pulls off easily. We have 2 dogs, one long-haired Border Collie and a Blue Heeler so we have a lot of pet hair in our house. For a smaller house and or a small family without pets, this vacuum is perfect. This can also tackle the jobs needed for a larger household with pets, you will just need to empty the canister often, occasionally change the battery and keep the backup battery charged. You will also need to keep the filters inside the canister clean and check them more often.
I really like the design of this vacuum. It takes up very little space and can easily tuck into any corner or closet space. The MultiFLEX stick allows the vacuum to bend, like your elbow, to reach far under furniture and other hard to reach spaces. At first impression, I thought it looked a little strange but now I love it because it works great! The DuoClean feature is an amazing addition to vacuums and I hope it becomes the standard. The front roller grabs dirt and particles and pulls them into the vacuum, where other vacuums tend to push some things forward. The front roller is also great for vacuuming right up to the wall to grab the debris that’s pushed against the edge, it works just as well as if I use the hose. The bottom of the vacuum is lined with small brushed around the perimeter of the suction cavity. These little brushed help to keep the dirt under the vacuum and prevent debris from being blown back out onto your floor. Being able to use this as a handheld vacuum is also a great bonus. I love that I can clean my car and other small places without having to be attached to a cord.
I’m very happy with this vacuum and think it’s perfect for anyone looking for an all-in-one, lightweight, portable vacuum that will likely last you many years. The price is a little high but that’s because of everything you get...the DuoClean roller, the MultiFlex bending stick, the portability of a battery operated vacuum, the extra battery, the charging stand, and the list goes on. You won’t be disappointed with this vacuum.

Top of the line Blender

The Vitamix Explorian E310 blender is an amazing blender. This little unit has a lot of power and seems to be able to cut through anything with ease. My smoothies are coming out smoother and richer than with my other name brand blender, both are great units but the Vitamix definetly out-performs when it comes to blending power. I also like that the blades will heat up items you are blending after a few+ minutes of blending. This allows you to create a quick hot soup for yourself or a couple people, in under 10 minutes. Creating nut butters will be an added bonus too, I haven't had a chance to do so yet but I hear they work very well for this. There are so many things you can prepare with a Vitamix that you could use it for practically every meal in one way or another.
This is my first Vitamix and from what I've seen of other units the overall design is pretty standard and easy to use. The included blending container does move a bit when you blend, it doesn't really click into place or anything, you just line it up with the gear and set it down. however when using at high power, if you are not holding the container, it will shift position slightly then stay somewhat askew to the base. It doesn't seem to give me any problems, even when not held on-to, so I don't really have a problem with it and it may be common for Vitamix unit's, I'm not sure.
Overall I am very impressed with the Vitamix Explorian blender and will highly recommend Vitamix over other name brand blenders.

I’m somebody who cooks quite a bit and I enjoy grilling outside when the weather is good. On days when grilling outside isn’t an option, or if you cannot have a grill outside, this unit does the trick. The Phillips Avance electric grill is designed well, is easy to use and the food comes out tasting good.
I’ve cooked a couple of steaks, some chicken and hamburgers on this grill now. The steaks were perfectly cooked and delicious. The chicken was okay, but I definitely prefer the taste of charcoal grilled chicken. The hamburgers were pretty good. Not having an open flame takes something away from the taste, but they were still good.. Just not really grilled flavor.
The user manual comes with recommended cooking times, which I’ll list below. The grill only has two settings, on and warm. I wish the heat were more adjustable. I also think a lid would have been great, and would decrease the cooking times. The grill heats up quickly, there really is no smoke, or at most, very very little. The grill didn’t heat up my kitchen really and cooking over the bright red surface was just fine.
Clean up was very easy, however there are some spots on one of the mirrored walls inside that I cannot remove with soap and a sponge. They are from grease/fat drip splatter during cooking. I’ll have to do some research and try to clean it with something harder w/o scratching the surface. If this isn’t something that I can clean off I wonder how many uses I will get until all of the inner reflective walls are covered with spots. Only time will tell.
Overall this is a really cool kitchen appliance to have, and I will try to make use of it whenever possible. I’m excited to try grilling more foods and I hope the non-scorched / non-grilled flavor grows on me.

These LG headphones are unlike any that I’ve ever owned before. The LG TONE Studo HBS-W120 headphones are well built with a solid feel and unique design. The sound quality from the ear buds is impressive with clear vocals, great surround and decent bass for earbuds. The earbuds themselves are comfortable to wear but take some getting used to in regards to the retractable nature of the design. You have to tug on these gently or you risk breaking them, which isn’t a problem for me but might be a problem for others. You also probably want to retract the headphones all the way when wearing so that you don’t pull at the headphones when moving your head. I do feel a little strange walking around wearing these around my neck and probably will not since I don’t often walk around wearing headphones. These are more useful for me at home for gaming and listening to music around the house and in the yard. I like that I can play a game on my laptop, using these around my neck while other people are in the room watching TV and we don’t bother each other. I enjoy the external speakers and they do provide great surround quality sound however the bass is lacking and the vibrations on my shoulders really isn’t needed.
Overall I think these are pretty great headphones with some pretty cool features, such as being able to pair with another set so that two people can listen to the same source, such as watching a movie together. I wouldn’t get these over a standard pair of earbuds unless you have a specific purpose for the around the neck speakers such as gaming, etc., or if you don’t already own a small portable bluetooth speaker as the price is pretty high, in my opinion.

Fantastic coffee without the pods!!

I have used an early model “coffee pod” brewing machine for about three years now and
switching back to a “classic” coffee maker has been a pleasant experience. I have greatly missed the variety of coffee that isn’t available in the pods and the ability to adjust your level of strength. The amount of trash generated by “coffee” pods has bothered me for a while so going with a permanent filter and no plastic cups has been a relief.

The Ninja Coffee Brewer, model CF021, gives you the versatility of a quality brewing system but with way more! You can choose your strength (which is totally spot on), your amount, the option to use a hot plate or even just brew straight into the cup, as well as an iced coffee option. I LOVE the convenient drop down platform for your coffee cup for those mornings when a carafe is too much. The last two coffee makers I’ve owned have not had a programmable brewing time option so having this feature on the Ninja has added convenience to my morning.
I would highly recommend this coffee maker to anyone looking for a quality update on a classic machine with some added bonuses.

Great Hi-Res Sound Quality

I’ve been using this Samsung MS650 soundbar for over a week now and have been really impressed! Even though this is a Samsung soundbar I have it connected to a Sony television and bluray player and everything is working well. The sound quality is much more rich and clear than previous soundbar’s I’ve owned and the design feels much more solid. This soundbar is quite a bit heavier than I expected it to be, but I think that’s probably because it has a built in woofer and is constructed with quality materials.
I’ve played 4K blu-rays and the hi-res sound is very clear. I’ve also connected the soundbar to my computer and played some HD music tracks and the sound quality is perfect, more so than you would imagine. In my opinion this is really where this soundbar shines, and part of why the price is so high. The Hi-Res sound quality really is superior however you need to make sure you truly have a hi-res source and are connected properly. Be sure to Google how to connect a hi-res soundbar if you have any questions. The bass is adequate for most purposes but I do find myself yearning for more from time to time. A wireless subwoofer is supposed to be released soon, and I think I’ll probably get it for a little extra thump.The bluetooth connectivity works perfectly and being able to connect other samsung speakers wirelessly is a nice added feature.The soundbar has many preset sound options as well as a smart option that adjusts the sound to fit the current scene on the screen. There is also a “surround” option that pushes the sound out differently so that it fills the room more and sounds “larger” if that makes sense, but not really surround if you ask me. There is a pair of wireless rear speakers that you can buy separately to add to the surround sound and make this a 5.1 system if you get the wireless subwoofer as well.
The remote has a comfortable feel and I like the way the volume buttons are set up, though it took me a little while to get used to them. For volume there is one button with 3 functions, volume up, volume down and mute. The base is similar, bass up, bass down and bass mute. Although I like the remote for the soundbar, my television remote works for controlling the volume so I usually just use that.
I really am happy to own this soundbar and am excited to try the add-on wireless subwoofer along with some additional wireless speakers around my house that I can control with the app. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a clean, crisp sound and isn’t too concerned with the bass.

This monitor really performs well and looks great. I’ve played a few games now at 144hz and they look fantastic. I’m using this monitor with my Omen desktop so being able to have all the graphics turned to the max while running the monitor at 144hz really brings the games to life for a more intense and stunning gaming experience. I’ve also viewed some videos at 60hz and the picture quality is just beautiful.
The monitor has an anti-glare screen and the design is minimalistic. There is a small rectangular plastic clip in piece for the back of the stand to run cables through but mine falls out easily. The stand is solid but the monitor wobbles somewhat when pressing the buttons or if the monitor is nudged. It does come with a VESA mount adapter for more options. The screen can tilt forward and backward on the stand. The power button and menu buttons are on the back right side and are not labeled. Pressing a button brings up the on-screen labels and you navigate from there. The menu has 7 preset “Viewing Modes”, the modes offered are; Low Blue Light, Night, Reading, HP Enhance +..., Gaming - FreeSync, Movie, Photo and Custom mode. I’ve found that the FreeSync mode looks the best for my usage. FreeSync is a technology designed to correct the issues of tearing and stuttering by synchronizing the graphics card to the monitor’s refresh rate.
The monitor was nicely packaged and came with a variety of connection cables to use with the variety of connection ports, Display Port 1.2 and HDMI along with USB 3.0! Be sure to use the included Display cable if you want to run 144hz. I’ve heard some complaints about the colors on this monitor but I think they look great. As with every monitor you should sample all of the presets or create a customized setting. All-in-all I’ve been very happy with this monitor, though it is not a UHD monitor, for me personally having 144hz is more important and the price point is perfect. The price, the refresh rate, the versatile connectivity and the picture quality make this monitor a wise buy for any gamer.

True Hi-Res (Studio Quality) Sound!

I’ve been using the ATH-DSR7BT headphones for a few days now and am really impressed.
The headphones came neatly packed with an easy to read user manual and instructions on how to adjust your computer’s sound settings to allow for Hi-Res (Studio Quality) audio.
The headphones are extremely comfortable and adjust to fit me perfectly. The material used is very soft and seems quite strong. Overall the build of these headphones looks very durable and should be able to last many years with normal wear and tear. The design is fairly intuitive and easy to use but does take some getting used to for the touch sensitive control pad/button. The power switch is on one side leaving the usb port, volume control and touch pad on the other side. The touch pad and volume controls are right next to each other so you will find yourself pausing the audio occasionally while trying to adjust the volume. I did this a lot the first day, a few times the next day and only once today. As I said, you just have to get used to the button placement. I like the NFC feature allowing you to tap your device to the log to connect. I also really like that these headphones can pair with, or remember, up to 8 devices. This is especially great for me since I’ve been using these with my phone, tablet, laptop, work pc, blu-ray player and home pc.
I often use my headphones to listen to music at work throughout the day. I use them when gaming and I sometimes use them while watching a movie on my blu-ray player. These do sound better than any other headphones I’ve owned however I thought they should sound a little better for the price tag. I was looking for that clear, rich, perfect, studio sound that I’ve never really heard before. These headphones are hi-res and come with instructions to adjust your sound settings for hi-res audio, so I decided to try it out. I downloaded some HD music tracks, adjusted the sample rate and bit depth sound settings on my laptop and played the music. Wow, the sound is stunning. I’m now listening to clear, clean, studio quality sound! This is what I was missing, this is what all music needs and this is why these headphones are a little pricer than other models. Download some HD music tracks and try it out, you will not be disappointed.
Overall I’m extremely pleased with the sound quality, comfort, functionality and design. My only con is the button placement, the touch pad and volume control need have more space between them. I would highly recommend these to anyone interested in listening true HD music and audio.

The Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro has been a great addition to my floor cleaning arsenal. Living in a home with 2 dogs, you have to deep clean the carpets from time to time. My dogs almost never have “accidents” but there is still a good amount of pet hair and dander that comes with having them around. Renting a carpet cleaner can be a hassle and the cost of doing that over time adds up quickly. If you are a pet owner, owning a good carpet cleaner just makes sense.
This Bissell came neatly packaged using cardboard inserts rather than styrofoam, this makes for a clean unpacking experience and an easy to recycle clean up. The unit was easy to assemble, requiring a phillips head screwdriver for one step. The instructions are clear and easy to read.
There are two separate water tanks, one for clean water and one for dirty. Filling the cleaning solution tank and mixing the cleaning solution is simple. The tank pulls out and fits nicely in my kitchen sink. This model came with two trial size cleaning solutions which should be enough to deep clean 2-3 medium size rooms depending on use. The dirty water tank also removes from the unit easily, has a handle and is easy to empty.
Operating the Bissel was a breeze. Just press a button on the handle when you want it to release cleaner (wet pass) and release the button when you want it to suck up fluid (dry pass). For deep clean mode the instruction booklet recommends 2 slow wet passes, 1 forward and 1 back then 2 slow dry passes, 1 forward and 1 back. For the express clean mode it recommends 2 wet passes, 1 forward and 1 back then 2 dry passes, 1 forward and 1 back. There is also a nice Cleanshot feature that allows you to spray a stream of cleaner out of the front of the unit head onto the floor. This is a good feature to use before you start cleaning to pretreat small heavily soiled areas.
I was pleasantly surprised at just how much pet hair it was able to pull out of my carpets. Before using the Bissell for a deep clean of my carpets I was sure to thoroughly vacuum everything. Even after a thorough vacuuming the Bissell picked up a considerable amount of pet hair, hair that I would have never noticed before. Along with all the hair that was pulled out of my carpets, the water was very dirty, much more than when I use a rental unit. The carpets came out looking much cleaner than before. Overall they are brighter, look somewhat renewed and smell much better.
Clean up was a breeze. Almost everything disassembled so that you can reach the areas that need cleaned. There are a couple hard to reach areas where debris can get stuck but Bissell included a tool to help you reach those spots. All of the pieces were easy to rinse off in my kitchen sink, dry off with a towel and put back together.
Overall I am very happy with the Bissell ProHeat 2X Revolution Pet Pro. The only other carpet cleaners I’ve used have been rentals but I can say with absolute certainty that this unit outperforms any of them. I will recommend this unit to friends.

Great for gaming and as a HTPC!

The HP Omen 870-244 has everything I could ever need, and more, from a gaming computer. The more is because not only is it a great gaming computer but it also performs well as a home theater computer. I have my Omen connected to my 4K living room television and speaker system. The computer is a on the larger size and may be too large for your entertainment center, but I for me, it worked perfectly. Although my television is smart I’ve found myself using the Netflix app available in the Windows app store, to watch shows because they seems to look better.
The Omen casing design looks great and has customizable LED lights that run down the front. You can adjust these lights to display a range of colors to indicate CPU usage, heat and more. There are USB ports in the front that actually point backward. Having them point backward does give a neatly tucked-away appearance but I would have prefered front facing ports for ease of use.
I’ve been an off and on gamer for many years so I was able to get into quite a few games to see how they perform on the Omen. Some games that I’ve played so-far are World of Warcraft, The Witcher 3, Cities: Skylines, StarCraft 2, and Fallout 4. I was able to adjust the graphics settings in all games to the max without any performance issues. WoW was running at 90-100 fps perfectly. As I mentioned before I use this computer as a home theater pc and have it connected to my 55” 4K Sony X850D. The games look amazing to say the least. The Witcher above all has some really breathtaking scenes.
I’ve ran a couple bench mark tests and this Omen model on average ranks in the top ninety percent of all gaming computers on the market.

I’ve been so pleased with this Omen desktop that I’m actually considering selling my Xbox. I was able to buy a Steam controller and am happily adjusting to console style pc gaming from the comfort of my living room. I unfortunately do not have a VR headset but am eager to try the VR games and will update this review as soon as I get my hands on one.

Build quality: This phone is solid in your hand from the moment you pick it up. The aluminum body feels solid and the phone has enough weight behind it to sit comfortably in your hand. I was concerned about the glass portion of the back panel, as I cringed every time I put the phone down on a solid surface, but it has endured very well so far and beyond adding a little flair it helps to quickly identify the top from bottom of the phone as I bring it out of my pocket. The front screen is probably the best screen I have ever used on a smart phone, colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and I would put it up against any screen that Apple or Samsung produce. It would really be nice if this was IP 67 rated for water resistance and dust resistance.
Performance: The new Qualcomm 821 processor doesn’t seem leaps and bounds above the older 820 model, but there are times where it is noticeable. Transitions are smooth, scrolling is faster and more responsive, and the phone overall just seems more fluid. The finger print reader is very quick. The camera does load faster than my old phone, but isn’t instant.
Software: The new launcher is very smooth. Took a little bit of time to get used to the “pull up” for the app drawer, but it seems much more natural than the old app drawer button. The Google assistant is nice, but seems to be a slightly more powerful Google now… I expect this will get better over time, but right now seems to be a little basic. Verizon did a great job with the phone’s “bloatware”. I haven’t “noticed” the applications and it seems that they can be uninstalled if I want to. (good job guys). Everything seems to work really well, and the 3D touch is really nice for the applications it works with right now (mostly google apps) but as with most of the software, it will just get better with time.
Camera: This is hands down the best camera I have ever used on a phone. I was worried about the lack of OIS (optical image stabilization) but after seeing how well the EIS performs, it really isn’t a concern anymore. Photos look amazing, the stabilization is awesome, and the HDR+ mode is so fast, I do not even know it’s on. Combined with the unlimited Google photos storage, I really don’t mind the 32GB storage size. Low light photos are amazing and the autofocus is fast. Colors look amazing. I really can’t say enough about this thing. I do wish it had OIS to cover those situations where EIS struggles (lose some details in low light with HDR+ and shaky hands) but I do not think it’s needed overall.
Battery: bottom line, rock solid. I run my phones hard, and normally have to charge them in the car to and from work. (sometimes even at work). But no issues with this Pixel XL. The Qualcomm 821 processor combined with the OLED screen seem to have really helped battery life out. I am looking at 18 hours of life today alone and that’s with about 7 hours of screen time on.)
If you are in the market for a phone, and you have the money, this phone will not disappoint.

No, it does not. The chicken I cooked took about 22 minutes and had no burned/chared areas at all. It's still a great grill, you just have to get used to the non open flame taste for some things.

When is this going to be available to order? Keeps on saying sold out online
I was able to snag one Open-Box online, and it was delivered the next day. I tried like 20 times and finally was able to get one. I just kept checking the site like every hour and adding it to my cart and trying to check out, lol. Persistence pays. :) The unit I received still had all the plastic wrap and my guess is that whoever owned it before me only had it to review it. Keep tyring!!
