All vacuums should have DuoClean!!

I’ve owned the Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away Speed with DuoClean for 2 days now and have put it to the test around my home. My house has a mix of hard floors and low pile carpeting. We have 2 dogs, one long-haired Border Collie and a short-haired Blue Heeler mix who both shed quite a bit. I typically vacuum the house 2-3 times per week and my previous vacuum is the Shark NV501, which I’ve owned for almost 2 years now. I wouldn’t normally have replaced my Shark NV501 if it weren’t for the opportunity to review their newest model. The Shark NV501 has been the best vacuum I’ve ever owned… until now.
When Shark innovates and adds a new technology to something, they aren’t just adding a fancy new name to the product, they really are giving you something useful. The new DuoClean feature performs better than I was expecting. It pulls in the larger particles lying on the floor whereas other vacuums will often just push them further away from the vacuum until they are against the wall. No more tipping the vacuum back to suck in larger debris! I have a ficus tree that drops a lot of leaves and the DuoClean roller pulls them right up into the vacuum, it’s pretty cool because testing them side by side, the NV501 does tend to push the leaves around. Another benefit of the secondary roller is being able to vacuum right up to the wall, rather than needing to do a second pass along the edge or using a nozzle. I’ve found that it will pull in any particles and dog hair pushed into the edge much better than anything I’ve ever used.
The design of this model is very user friendly, functional and looks great. Everything is labeled and all the parts click into place making it easy to assemble and clean. I really like that the top window panel of the head opens up allowing access to the rollers which both come out easily for cleaning. The bottom of the head has brushes around the back and sides of the roller area, preventing anything from escaping the suction. The LED headlights are bright and more uniform than my previous model, with little to no dark space on the carpet between beams. Another great feature is the bumper on the front of the vacuum. Along the front head there is a soft rubber bumper which I think this helps to protect the DuoClean roller but it also helps to prevent any damage to your furniture when bumping into it. The powered lift-away feature is great! The canister separates from the wand and head unit allowing you to reach far under furniture and into tight places, while still using the power of the rotating brushes on the head. The change between functions is fast and easy and the vacuum can stay on while changing. Holding the canister in your hand while vacuuming isn’t too bad but having the caddy would be great and at this price point I do think it should have been included.
The head is a bit smaller than I am used to, about an inch and a half smaller than my previous vacuum and I wish the canister capacity was a bit more but I think the Speed models are meant to be more lightweight and portable. I’m okay with that given all the other great features I’m getting plus I don’t really find myself having to empty it that much more frequently than before.
The Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away Speed with DuoClean has surpassed all of my expectations, it’s fast and really pulls itself along the carpet. It’s thoughtfully designed and incorporates innovative features. I’m once again impressed with Sharks design and will recommend this product to friends.

Strong, far-reaching coverage for multi-device use

The Linksys Velop came packaged in a sturdy well packed and attractively designed box. Setting up the system was extremely easy. I had all three nodes up and running in less than 20 minutes. I’ve seen some reports of other user’s taking much longer but I found it to be a very simple process using the app. Just take the nodes out of the box, plug one into your modem and follow the on-screen instructions in the Linksys wi-fi app. I suggest deciding where you are going to place the nodes before beginning setup. Set them in their positions, and plug them in when the app prompts you to activate that node.
The Linksys nodes have a well thought out design, looking modern and sleek. They can be placed anywhere throughout your house without looking too much like a piece of home networking gear. The units have an LED light alert system which will change different colors and blink depending upon the situation and are used during setup.
I really like the Linksys app and find it very user friendly. You are able to see a list of devices that have connected and are currently connected to your network. You can change device names, icons and give a particular device priority over others. You can create a guest user account, test your internet speed, set parental controls, change notifications and more. Having this app available is really one of the big selling points for me, aside from the superb internet speed and coverage of the system, but the app is pretty great too!
I use the Linksys Velop for my home wifi network and will typically have anywhere from 4-10 devices connected at one time. My old home network mesh wifi system alleviated the problems of my even older system, which were dead spots in far points in the house. But the Linksys does it even better! Some of the connected devices I use are smartphones, tablets, Smart TV, Smart Blu-ray player, Xbox One and others. The speeds never slow down, regardless of how many devices I have connected at once. Everything is much faster and smoother in general no matter what part of the house you are in or what device you are using. I believe this is because the Velop uses a tri-band signal whereas some of the others only use a dual-band signal.
I’m extremely happy with the Linksys Velop and highly recommend this wifi system to anyone looking for good home coverage with high internet speeds while using multiple devices, that can be controlled with an easy to use app!

Perfectly mimics my old fan, without the cold air!

I have been somebody who sleeps with a fan by my bed for years. I cannot sleep in silence as my mind tends to focus on every little sound I hear. I will even take my fan with me when traveling to ensure I get a good night of sleep at whatever hotel I may be visiting. Being a warm natured person, the fan has never bothered me but my fiance has had to “deal with it” for the past few years. He hates the draft and cool air being blown around the room from the fan, more-so during the winter months.
I wasn’t sure if this device would work for me as other sleep noise devices in the past have been a disappointment. They tend to cycle through a sound then repeat it after 5-10 minutes or so, which did not work for me.
The LectroFan has been fantastic! I’ve slept with it for 2 nights now and have nothing but good things to say about the sounds it produces. There is no cycling or looping of a track as it generates the sounds via some sort of internal programming for a constant uninterrupted sound.
There are 10 fan sounds and 10 white noise sounds from which to make your selection and I was pleasantly surprised to find a fan noise that matches my old fan perfectly. All of the fan noises are different and mimic a wide array of commonly heard fans. The white noise sounds are all pretty much the same sound increasing in pitch with each selection. The lowest white noise setting sounds similar to a fan, in my opinion, and the highest white noise setting resembles the snow/static of a TV channel without a signal. I can see how this would be great for private conversations such as in a therapist's office. The fan noise sounds so real that I have found myself forgetting there is no fan on my nightstand anymore and when I don’t feel a cold breeze I remember that I have this amazing little noise machine.

The unit is very easy to operate and comes with easy to read instructions. The power cord has a USB connection on one side so you can plug it directly into a USB port if available or use the included USB power cube wall adapter. The other side of the power cord is a traditional connection that plugs into the base of the unit and tucks into a groove to guide it out of the bottom rear of the unit. The LectroFan can be used all night long or you can set it on a 60 minute timer. The volume can go very loud, much louder than I will ever need. The unit itself is very small and light, it is approximately 4 inches in diameter and 2 inches tall, making it easy to pack into a suitcase and very discreet on my nightstand.
When sampling through the available noises there is a tone that will play once you have reached the first sound. Can be a life changer or just make life easier!

I’ve been using my Ninja Blender for just about 2 weeks now and have fallen in love! I never used to be much of a smoothie drinker but wanted to start since I know how beneficial they can be to your health. I now use my blender on a daily basis, using it every morning to make a healthy protein smoothie that I take to work with me using the included cups. I will also sometimes make a drink in the evening if I don’t have time to cook dinner and don’t want to get fast food. There are just so many different drinks you can make that you will never get bored. Included with this kit is a recipe book that I have found to be invaluable. Not to mention the bowl that comes with this package which is great for making salsa, pesto, various sauces, and many other things. Everything blends so well, regardless of what you are making whether it be crushed ice for your drink or basil leaves for pasta, the Auto-IQ feature allows you to choose the appropriate setting and the Ninja does all the work. I have no fears about this breaking down on me as everything included appears to be constructed from quality materials and feels sturdy and built to last. I highly recommend this kit to anyone who is looking to make some dietary changes as it really makes it easy to eat healthy. I would also recommend this to pretty much anyone who cooks their own meals or wants to start cooking as using the bowl can be very helpful when preparing many different types of dishes. Opening the box to my new Google wifi was a pleasant and exciting experience. Everything was neatly packed in a sturdy box with quality packaging. Obviously the packaging isn’t what’s important but it let’s me know Google cares about their products.
Set up was a breeze. I downloaded the app from the Google Play store, plugged one of the wifi units into my cable company provided modem/router using the ethernet cable that came with the router, and plugged the unit into the outlet. I then placed the other two units and plugged them in as well. From there I followed the on-screen instructions on the app and everything was up and running with no problems at all.
I love the size and shape of the units. They are low-profile, round, with a LED light band and a modern look. The units give instant feedback using the LED light alert system which will change different colors and blink depending upon the situation. You also have the option to dim the lights as well as turn them off using the operating app from your tablet or smartphone.
The app is a pretty neat tool to have available. I like that it allows me to see how many devices are connected to my network at any given time, I can edit the names and track the usage history. The app allows you to prioritize devices as well as limit usage for others. You can set up guest networks and send guests the password digitally.
The app alerted me to the fact that I was now producing 2 wifi signals via my modem/router. It said that it probably won’t be a problem but I decided to call the cable company and replace my combo with a modem only unit. I installed the new modem the next day and the Google wifi had no issues at all. Everything is smooth.
I’ve connected eleven devices to my network from various places in my home now and have nothing but fast speeds. There were a few places in my house where the signal would fade or not be accessible at all but not anymore. Everything seems to be faster and smoother in general no matter what part of the house you are in or what device you are using. Some of the connected devices I use are smartphones, tablets, Smart TV, Smart Blu-ray player, Xbox One and others.
I’m very happy with my Google wifi home network and am excited to see more Google home products hit the market in the future.

Being a light user of video/photo editing software, I’ve found this to be an easy to use photo and video editing program. There is a learning curve, as with most new programs, but everything is positioned in a logical layout and is easy to find. I do suggest a completely new to editing user to find some short tutorial videos online to get you started. I like the guided editing options available, they make it easier to get a professional looking photo or movie without having to be a professional editor. I love the Remix editor to build photo and video collages, it’s easy and impressive, something to share on Social Media. I like that there is touch screen editing available and it works well with my laptop. I also like the smart tag features which allows you to search your collection based on keywords that are automatically assigned to the photos. There is a lot you can do with this but it is for a more relaxed basic user, perfect for me.

Everything the Google advertisements have been promising has been delivered upon with the new Google Pixel XL. This phone is really fast, has a superior screen, a better than average battery life, charges very quickly and is fully loaded with the most amazing smart phone AI I've ever used, the new Google Assistant! There is room for improvement, and I wish there were some additional features and specs that you can find on other smart phones in this price category however I'm very pleased with the final product. I'm listing some of my personal pros and cons for this phone below.
Pros
Ergonomically designed fingerprint scanner conveniently located on the back of the phone. I love the placement of the scanner and it reacts very quickly.
Wi-Fi Calling
Three microphones with noise cancellation.
The screen is beautiful! It has an AMOLED display with 2560 x 1440 resolution, packing 534 pixels per inch! It really looks great, probably the best I've seen.
The Google Assistant works very well. My voice is recognized easily and it responds quickly. I have been using it for the past couple of days to set reminders, alarms, play music, make phone calls and search for phone numbers and other information. I'm looking forward to forming a working relationship with my Google Assistant!
The battery lasts very long allowing hours of on screen time. Much longer than any other phone I've had. I'm curious to see how it performs over time in the coming months to years but I'm very hopeful!
Quick charging battery is amazing! Just as advertised.
Unique design soon to be easily recognized by other Pixel users.

Overall I am extremely pleased with this phone. I believe Google has made a great phone and in my opinion, the Pixel seems to be a perfect blend between other major brands. I think that users from these other brands will find Pixel to be somewhat familiar while still being fresh and new!

I've uploaded a couple sample pictures taken with my Pixel XL, please do not judge them too harshly and look for other samples as I am not a very good photographer.. LOL My dog, Keiko, says hello! :)

This is a great boombox! It really puts out nice sound quality with strong base. After purchasing I realized you can sync it with another unit for twice the sound, so if any of your friends ever buy one you can put them together for parties, etc. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Build quality: This phone is solid in your hand from the moment you pick it up. The aluminum body feels solid and the phone has enough weight behind it to sit comfortably in your hand. I was concerned about the glass portion of the back panel, as I cringed every time I put the phone down on a solid surface, but it has endured very well so far and beyond adding a little flair it helps to quickly identify the top from bottom of the phone as I bring it out of my pocket. The front screen is probably the best screen I have ever used on a smart phone, colors are vibrant, the blacks are deep, and I would put it up against any screen that Apple or Samsung produce. It would really be nice if this was IP 67 rated for water resistance and dust resistance.
Performance: The new Qualcomm 821 processor doesn’t seem leaps and bounds above the older 820 model, but there are times where it is noticeable. Transitions are smooth, scrolling is faster and more responsive, and the phone overall just seems more fluid. The finger print reader is very quick. The camera does load faster than my old phone, but isn’t instant.
Software: The new launcher is very smooth. Took a little bit of time to get used to the “pull up” for the app drawer, but it seems much more natural than the old app drawer button. The Google assistant is nice, but seems to be a slightly more powerful Google now… I expect this will get better over time, but right now seems to be a little basic. Verizon did a great job with the phone’s “bloatware”. I haven’t “noticed” the applications and it seems that they can be uninstalled if I want to. (good job guys). Everything seems to work really well, and the 3D touch is really nice for the applications it works with right now (mostly google apps) but as with most of the software, it will just get better with time.
Camera: This is hands down the best camera I have ever used on a phone. I was worried about the lack of OIS (optical image stabilization) but after seeing how well the EIS performs, it really isn’t a concern anymore. Photos look amazing, the stabilization is awesome, and the HDR+ mode is so fast, I do not even know it’s on. Combined with the unlimited Google photos storage, I really don’t mind the 32GB storage size. Low light photos are amazing and the autofocus is fast. Colors look amazing. I really can’t say enough about this thing. I do wish it had OIS to cover those situations where EIS struggles (lose some details in low light with HDR+ and shaky hands) but I do not think it’s needed overall.
Battery: bottom line, rock solid. I run my phones hard, and normally have to charge them in the car to and from work. (sometimes even at work). But no issues with this Pixel XL. The Qualcomm 821 processor combined with the OLED screen seem to have really helped battery life out. I am looking at 18 hours of life today alone and that’s with about 7 hours of screen time on.)
If you are in the market for a phone, and you have the money, this phone will not disappoint.

No, it does not. The chicken I cooked took about 22 minutes and had no burned/chared areas at all. It's still a great grill, you just have to get used to the non open flame taste for some things.

When is this going to be available to order? Keeps on saying sold out online
I was able to snag one Open-Box online, and it was delivered the next day. I tried like 20 times and finally was able to get one. I just kept checking the site like every hour and adding it to my cart and trying to check out, lol. Persistence pays. :) The unit I received still had all the plastic wrap and my guess is that whoever owned it before me only had it to review it. Keep tyring!!
