The average person touches their phone 2,617 times per day, transferring germs to it with each touch. One more barrier to germs!

My wife works in healthcare, so we are all about killing germs. Cell phones are nasty devices and pick up more filth and germs than our hands. We handle them, lay them on surfaces without even thinking, and breathe all over them. So no matter how much we wash our hands, that is all for naught as soon as we pick up our phones.
Enter Simple Human. We plug ours in on the kitchen counter opposite the sink and away from appliances. The new routine is come through the door, drop phone in the magic box, wash hands. The phone pops up, toaster style, right about when hands are being dried. So any germs from outside the home are dead and washed from hands and phones.
The box is sleek and the light ring stays on as it cleans. All our iPhones and Galaxies with cases fit and slide right down when place in the slot. It’s unobtrusive on the counter, but it does make me more mindful of where I lay my phone and how often I wash my hands and sanitize. It doesn’t hurt to do it more often. Any little thing to add another barrier to germs making their way through is a plus.
Kids can use it easily, not fragile, easy to plug and play. Will pick up a couple for parents and in-laws. Highly recommend.

I’m reviewing this hoverboard as a forty-something adult who wanted to try it out and have a fun way to to the pool and back! I expected it to take forever to be able to balance, but after reading all the instructions and stepping on, I was riding around in about five minutes. I downloaded and connected to the app to see the odometer and control the lights. Easy and intuitive, totally customizable. The board doubles as a pretty solid Bluetooth speaker too. It pairs just like any Bluetooth speaker and sounds full and loud. It brings to mind riding an old school boom box.
The ride is completely smooth, not at all like a skateboard, much smoother. I got a helmet because you just should, and I’m glad I did. I took one spill and yes it hurt, but it will not keep me from hopping back on.
Charging is simple as plugging it in a regular wall socket and waiting about an hour to go from less than half to completely full. Range is six miles, and for my purposes of kicking around the neighborhood, that is more than plenty. I never come close to low charge.
The build is solid as a rock. It is sturdy with 6.5” wheels that absorb bumps surprisingly well. It’s easy to carry by the handles on the wheel wells.
I recommend for anyone who wants a great basic board. Just be safe and read the guide. The tips in there are spot on for controlling and balance.

1. These are so light and comfortable I forget I’m wearing them. The strap across the top suspends them over my head without the hard piece even touching down. Genius. The ear pieces are padded but not with anything squishy that molds to my ears. They just sit where they should and insulate the sound without getting stuffy or hot.
2. I plugged the fob into my gaming laptop and the headphones immediately fired up and worked. I didn’t have to adjust or find anything. The best plug and play experience.
3. The sound is amazing. Deep bass I can feel. Simply immersive. My brother attests my voice comes through crystal clear as well.
4. The battery lasts a looooong time! These are truly wireless but I have not had to recharge them yet. That’s after four sessions of gaming.
5. They are Logitech. Trusted brand. HIGHLY recommend.

Does just what I needed — Airplay

I have a 15 year old very nice 7.1 channel home theater system. But I’m recent years, I tend to play my music to Bluetooth or Airplay devices. If something needs to go from my phone through the speakers, I have to push it through the AppleTV. It’s a pain.
Enter this tiny, lightweight, two port device from Belkin. Plug it into the optical audio jack on the receiver and POOF! Airplay for my 7.1! Never thought that could happen. It’s seamless and easy to set and forget.

This is the perfect use of the MagSafe feature of iPhone 12 and up. I use a phone stand and I charge my phone at least once during a work day. This is all in one. My phone sits on the stand and is charging, cable free, whenever I’m working. The beauty is that my phone doesn’t have to stop charging when I need to pick it up and carry it into a meeting. But when it doesn’t need a charge, I’m not stuck with a clunky charging case. Easy to use, clicks right onto the phone when lined up.
Indicator lights let me know when to charge the block. The block charges quickly, and in turn it charges the phone quickly. It weighs about the same as my phone, just like other battery packs. But no cables!

Folds AWAY! And cooks great ;-)

It’s a Ninja Foodi product. I knew it would cook well and be sturdy and intuitive to use. It is all those things AND it folds away! Even with plenty of counter space, there is always a reason to save it. I had a fantastic convection air fryer/toaster over that worked perfectly fine prior to getting the Foodi. But it did take up valuable real estate. The Foodi actually easily slides up and away, storing vertically under the cabinets to leave the front of that space of countertop useable. It’s a feature that seems like a gimmick, but you’ll use it and love it.
The other thing this model does is give me more heat. My previous oven did not go as high as this one, stopping at 450. I can do a 500 degree sear in the Foodi. I used it over Thanksgiving to bake cornbread, scratch caramel brownies, and roast a whole pan of Brussels sprouts. All came out perfectly.
I highly recommend to replace your old bucket style air fryer. There is enough surface area inside the Foodi to cook your snacks (wings, tots, cheese stickers, etc.) with equal coverage and crisping instead of missing whatever pieces were covered by other parts. I have not done pizza in this one yet, but no doubt it will be perfect too, as the cornbread and brownies were evenly cooked through with no hot spots or soggy center.
Folding away is the highlight here, and believe me—it’s a great one! You’ll use your large oven less, and you haven’t seceded your whole counter.

Worth the $$ for quieter machine, better coffee!

We had asimilar machine of different brand that was less expensive. I thought it was fine until we got the De'Longhi! They both do the exact same things. Same feature set--grind the beans, make great espresso to taste. The difference in noise level and smoothness of the parts all working together is night and day. The De'Longhi is like an exotic car compared to a domestic eco model. Smooth and easy to operate. The controls are more intuitive and offer more granular options--as well as the over ice feature. I love iced beverages and it actually makes a difference in flavor to have a specific setting for iced. one thing I would prefer but is only offered in the model a level up from this one is a stand alone frother. The built in frother does the job, but keep in mind you're using the same output as the coffee, so no way to do them at the same time. Not a big deal for one-offs, but would be something to consider if you entertain.
I highly recommend going with a little extra spend for the De'Longhi machine. The quality is obvious, and it makes superior espresso beverages! You may want to splurge for the next level though!

Easy install and setup, fast!

Instead of installing myself, I had my notably non-technical father in law set up the new router. I wanted to see how good the instructions were for someone who is not a techie. He blew right through the whole setup, down to creating a guest network! The instructions are extremely well done in easy to follow drawings to match up to your router and modem setup. There’s a wps button if you have any devices that actually need it, and it’s very simple to change the password and network name. The main reason we wanted this new router was for signal strength. The whole house is covered with at least four of five bars with no need for separate access points! Support for 30 devices may seem like overkill, but start adding up all the phones, smart tvs, tablets, laptops, lightbulbs, etc. and it is awesome to have full strength to go around. I highly recommend.

Bad app, not intutive

I got this switch thinking it would replace my dumb dimmer in the dining room. It does not. It is only a switch. On or off. Alexa can turn it on or off. The most frustrating thing was getting the app to work. I had to factory reset the switch twice for the app to detect it. Out of the box upon installation, it errored red. It never did discover my network, I just manually entered it. Wiring is very straight forward and it’s a nice clean look, but that’s all the positive I have to say. Now I have to remove the switch and replace my old dimmer. I may install this LIFX switch in a room like the attic or garage that just has a single pole overhead light that it would be nice to voice activate.

Bose sound, outstanding battery

The form factor of the Bose Flex is unique. I have to believe the flatter, wider speaker allows better sound development than the tried and true cylinder of most portable Bluetooth speakers. When laid flat on a surface, the sound coming from the bottom side is amplified by the surface, has a great bass sub woofer effect, and of course the top side emits deep rich Bose sound. We have several other brands of Bluetooth portables, and the Flex shames them for clarity and pure sound.
The Bose app focuses on connectivity instead of gimmicky sound effects and enhancements. No bass boost or house lights are needed here. The speaker just sounds good and clear. I played with some of the EQ settings on my phone too, and none made a good difference. The native sound from the speaker is room-filling and not distorted by increased volume.
One thing of note—I do not find this to be a speaker I’d carry on a hike or stroll, despite the “carry strap”. Carrying it room to room, poolside, or on a trip makes sense, but it’s a bit heavy for grabbing and going.

Only 12 and 13 because the charging mechanism is specific to MagSafe.

I work in construction and these are supposedly noise canceling, how good are they with the outside noise and wind?
Excellent noise cancelling. I was my car with the radio on full blast and could only hear the headphones.
