The Tineco Pure One S11 is a combo upright and handheld vacuum that is fairly deceiving in strength. The brand itself is not a household name that I had ever heard of, it looks like a small handheld vacuum and it is the same basic shape as many of its competitors.
It comes with a bunch of attachments for a variety of surfaces. Whether that be carpeted or hardwood floors or even in your car. You are able to mount it to the wall on a charger and it basically creates it own station for charging and storing all its attachments.
The vacuum itself is extremely light. Actually that was a surprise in itself. Significantly lighter than its competition. It has a nice balance to it when used as a floor vacuum (if that makes sense). Best of all, it is really quiet. Quieter than cheaper and more expensive model vacuums. With how quiet it is, I expected the suction to be significantly less. It definitely is not.
So the biggest test for me are two things in my household. First, the wool rug in the living room. It is still relatively new so every time you vacuum it the rug sheds significantly. This vacuum sucked up a lot of fuzz off the rug, so that was good. The second is my wife’s car after driving my kids to school over the course of a few weeks. My toddler is an animal and a messy one at that. With all the tools they give you with the vacuum, it gets all the dry things that are not stuck in the carpet out. Wet things and sticky things don’t come out so well, which is what I expected and would expect. But with the suction power and variety of attachments it really gets into all the angles and pockets fairly easily.
I have never seen another vacuum with such an elaborate LED display on it. You can see how much battery it has left (Supposed to work for 40 minutes on the basic setting) as well as when it senses suction. All in all, it looks much more futuristic and well thought out in comparison it is competition. One little detail to mention is the trigger you pull to start the vacuum. It has a little lever next to it that you can pull and it locks down the trigger so you don’t have to keep pressing it as you vacuum. A small detail worth mentioning, but well thought out. Another think I liked, was the fact that it allows for charging of a second battery. At the top of the storage station I mentioned, you can flip open the top and put slide a second battery into a slot while the other charge while attached to the vacuum. I have not used the vacuum for 40 minutes, but I imagine if you have a large home then this would be a handy feature.
I would say that bottom line, the Tineco Pure One S11 is on par with the household names and equal to vacuums that cost $200 more. For how quiet it is, all the attachments, the easy storage and durable feeling of the vacuum I think you are getting a lot for your money. I will see how it works in the long run, but so far my impressions are great. I would purchase another one if I needed a second vacuum and would definitely recommend it to a friend in need of an all in one style vacuum. It really impressed me.

Great quality first electric toothbrush for kids

It is hard enough to get your kid to maintain a good brushing habit, so any help you can get to instill that routine helps. Having used the adult version, I knew it was a great product and I decided to try it with my daughter.
What I like about these devices are first and foremost the price point. For the quality of the product and for how well if cleans the price for the brush and replacements are very reasonable. Plus is cleans really well. Just like the major brands, this one has the two minute timer that vibrates each 30 seconds.
But unlike many other brands this brush has Bluetooth. With that, it connects to a Quip app and you can track your kid’s brushing habits if that is what you are in to. Better than that, as the child makes progress you can actually get discounts on products. Win win.
The brush itself is soft bristled and the outside bristles circling the main body of the brush are silicone and super soft. I imagine for gum stimulation. It has a sleeve that acts as a cover for travel and what not. The case/sleeve also has a backing on it that sticks to the mirror or any other flat non-porous surface so you can store the brush in an upright standing position.
I have not worked with the app yet, but in the reviews I have read it is pretty decent and easy to use. Bottom line for me is that you are building good habits for your children and if your three year old throws it in the toilet accidentally you don’t get mad because you spend $100 plus dollars. The price is right and it is every bit as good as the adult version of the brush line. I recommend it to anyone that wants to build good oral hygiene habits with their children.

I love going to get a coffee (espresso) from time to time. I love the taste of a handmade beverage, and often times it is the experience that is so nice to go along with the taste of a great latte or whatever your favorite drink is. Being able to replicate that at home is not easy. The making of the actual espresso is not that hard, but get the milk right is something I lost patience with in the past. So I never bought another at home espresso machine again. That is until now.
Before this, I have tried Nespresso samples at the mall I their shops, and I really liked it. But I had a device from their competition back then, and I moved on. I am a big drip coffee drinker, almost like a religion level of dedication to the bean juice. So I thought maybe trying this would be a cool idea to vary things up a little. I was right, and I love this machine.
The machine is very small, has a slim line sort of profile (not wide) and an ample water tank. When you use it, you simple flip the switch on the side, drop a capsule in the top, close the lid and hit the optional size you want. The espresso comes out rich and airy. The pressure is perfect, and the temperature is also just right.
The milk frother is literally what sets this machine aside from the rest. You add the milk, push the power button and it does the rest. The milk is brought to an ideal temperature, and the thick rich foam brings out the subtle natural sweetness of the milk. For me, I like to add a tiny bit of sugar to the milk as it is being heated, and you can also add your favorite sweetener or flavoring instead. One thing you don’t want to do is over fill the milk frother. If you do, it will come right out of the top of the cup. I imagine it depends on the milk you use, but I usually use whole milk and if you fill it even a small amount over the MAX line, it will be on your counter for sure.
The machine is also easy to clean. There is a cup collection drawer that will hold about 10, and there is a drip tray. All are easy to clean. I don’t know if they are machine washable, but do it by hand anyway, because they small and easy to clean parts.
Finally, take a look at all the options for nespresso capsules that are out there. There are a TON of options on Amazon, I saw them at Costco and there are numerous options both brand name and generic at the grocery store.
Most importantly, it makes a darn good beverage. I am not an espresso snob. I am a coffee snob, but espresso not so much. But the better the ingredients, the better the drink. I have to say, I would rather have one of these made at home now rather than going to get one and coming home now. I might even make one time to time for my commute.
All things said, I am really impressed. I am not a big at home espresso guy. I mentioned before drip coffee is my favorite. But this thing is a treat. I recommend it to anyone that loves espresso drinks. It gives you a lot of opportunity to make things your own way, and I think you will be very surprised at how good it turns out. Happily surprised. And for the price of the machine? It is a no brainer.

Quality product that replaces many appliances

The Chefman 4 slice toaster oven is a great little oven for small spaces that can replace a variety of items in your kitchen. Personally, my family has a few different counter top items and some of them are 2 or 3 in 1 type appliances. But none of them have as many options as this toaster oven.
The Chefman has the ability to air fry, broil, bake, roast, toast and it has a convection option. So far we have roasted a small chicken, air fried a ton of stuff, made toast, and baked cookies.
The features that impress me the most are:
Digital Touch controls: The controls are SUPER user friendly. Just touch what you want and it works. No guessing, no mistakes, no problems. It is simplified, but the appearance is very attractive and convenient.
Cleaning: It is easy to clean. They say everything is dish washer safe, but if you have burnt on cheese or thick grease on a tray you are not just going to out it in the dishwasher. However, the cleaning is really easy regardless because most of the parts are non-stick.
Large opening: The capacity of this counter top oven was much greater than I expected it to be. You can fit a full size frozen pizza in the oven, a smaller sized funk chicken or anything smaller than that. They say you can feed a family? Maybe, but only if some want to wait while you are making a second and third batch for others wanting to eat.
Features that don’t thrill me:
Size: The front to back and side to side measurements are on par with every other counter top oven I saw in the store. But this one is taller than most others. Not a deal breaker, but if you are tight on space take your measurements.
That is it. That was my only gripe with this one. Which again is not a concern for me, but may be for some.

When you compare it to how my oven works, it is really just the same thing. So why do you need one when you have an oven? Who wants to heat up the oven for a dozen chicken nuggets? We use it for quick things, when we need to make smaller meals or sides for meals. You are not going to cook thanksgiving out of this thing! But the both alliances have their place. Now this Chefman has a place on my counter. I recommend it to anyone really. Everyone will have some use for it, whether that be the person that lives alone and is cooking their dinner, or the family that using it for small to medium. Everyone will find a use for it, and you will be happy if you give it a try. I am glad we did.

The Belkin Boost Charge 10W Qi wireless charging pad is a simple product that just works. Belkin makes great electronics accessories, and has done so in my opinion for years. I used multiple charging cables, Qi chargers, and other items over the years, and their build quality is great. Plus, the items hold up for a long time.
So this Qi charging pad is awesome because it has two pads in one. So both my wife and I charge our iPhones at night and grab and go in the morning. The bottom of the pad is rubberized, so it doesn’t slip around in the counter like other ones I have had in the past. The top is also rubberized and provides a great platform for your device. Once it is placed (centered) on a pad, you will see a light showing you it is connected. The light is not too bright, and you feel a slight magnetic pull as you set it down. Also, it seems much thinner that others I have seen.
I don’t know the stats on this thing as far as how fast it charges, or any real performance specs. That is only because we are a set it and forget it couple and we leave things over night. So I don’t know how fast it is or how it compares to other devices. I do know it fits the mold for me. So much so that I will likely get another one (likely single padded) for work.
It is easy to just plug your phone into the charger it comes with. It works well, and likely even faster than this Qi charger. So why get one then? Because honestly it is easier and just as effective. Not need to use both plugs in the outlet, no tied up wires, not wires wearing out. None of that. Just set it on the pad and it charges. End of story.
So I would recommend this to anyone that wants a Qi charger, as it is a cost effective option that gives you two places to charge things with. I would (and likely will) buy one again.

Replaces a lot of counter top appliances

The Kitchenaid countertop oven with air fryer is an option that is going to replace a variety of things in your kitchen. It has the option of being able to bake, toast, broil, re-heat, keep warm and air fry. The oven is slightly smaller in size than other counter top models I have seen, but actually has the same capacity inside the oven. This was a concern for me, as we don’t have a ton of counter space, and it needed to earn a spot on the counter if it was going to stay.
For baking, this was the most impressive part for my wife and I. The preheating was a lot faster than a regular oven. Maybe a third of the time or less, and that was a preheat to 400 degrees. The oven baked evenly, with no hot spots to note. Also, the timing was similar to what we would do in the actual oven, vice using an air fryer that usually takes half the time.
Speaking of air fryer, that too is an option. One thing that is unique about this air fryer are the trays that come with the oven. Speciflcally, they are sort of like screens and allow for your food to be cooked from both sides when you use it in air fryer mode. I used it for toasting bread as well and it worked well.
We don’t have a ton of countertop space, so if we are going to get a new device it will have to be worth it. After using this oven for a few weeks, the main things we used it for were baking, air frying and toasting. This effectively replaces a bunch of things for us, all except the rarely used pressure cooker that sits in the pantry. All our other appliances to include the refrigerator, oven, microwave and dishwasher are kitchenaid and we have been very happy with them.
What I like about this little oven is how it is simple. It has sort of a hybrid digital and manual display. I saw other model similar to this one, that have an all touch screen interface, and that is nice. But when you look closely, they have the same oven space, but the entire oven was much taller. So this Kichenaid was a better fit for me. The interface is much easier to use and centers around using two knobs and then hitting a start button. Can’t really get any easier than that!
My family and I really love this counter top oven. It is now our daily go to for fast breakfast items and dinners. I think this is a great item for anyone that wants to get rid of a bunch of small appliances in order to replace it with one singular device that is affordable, reliable, well made and works well. I highly recommend it.

The Ecobee Smart sensors work in conjunction with a Ecobee smart thermostat. It is a free standing sensor that sits in any room to help you maintain a consistent temperature throughout your home.
So think about it this way. The typical thermostat senses the temperature where the thermostat is located. This is usually in a hallway or somewhere there is not that much foot traffic. So, if the thermostat is in the dark, cool hallway, away from the sun drenched wide open living room the temperature variance is significant. The thermostat will not adjust to meet the variance in the living room, as the reading in the hallway is consistent to the settings you requested.
Enter the Ecobee smart sensors. The sensor sits in those rooms where you think you get the temperature variance and it reports back to the thermostat to help get the consistency you want throughout the house. This of course give you a most efficient heating and cooling system.
They have a reach of about 50 feet, which means they can be 50 feet away from the thermostat and work. So far so good. I think that distance is less when you factor in walls, but for me nothing is that far away from the thermostat.
They have their own battery, and in comparison to some of the other sensors with a 3 year life, these last for 5 years. No plug, no problem.
Like other Ecobee products, I was sold on this product line. They are reasonably priced, very well made and they work really well. I also have the smart camera with door and window sensors. They work awesome and the camera itself is extremely impressive. Check those out too, all items are voice controlled just like the thermostat.
Bottom line, if you have the thermostat or need a new thermostat, consider the Ecobee line. If you do go with Ecobee, make sure to add these sensors. It just makes good sense, and it will give you a more consistent temperature from room to room.

Logical add-on for the Ecobee smart camera system

The Ecobee Smart sensors for doors/windows works in conjunction with a Ecobee smart camera system. There are a ton of different things you can add to the smart camera system, such as sensors (these), thermostats as well as motion sensors. Think of the smart camera as the brain to all the connected devices.
These sensors are simple. You pull the tab out of the back to connect the battery and link it with your camera. There are youtube videos in case you cant figure it out, but there are also instructions in the box and on the website. It is fairly intuitive, and it will not take you long to link them to the camera. Once installed, they are linked and you let them do their job.
They are basically magnets. As the door or window is closed, the magnets are together. As the door or window opens, the magnets separate and the alarm triggers. They are similar to any alarm you install in the house, they are just shaped differently and are only compatible with Ecobee products.
I have seen people install them on the sides of the door, but I do the horizontal top part because I have kids that are animals. If they can figure out how to destroy something they will. Also, I noticed that they don’t have to be lined up perfectly to work. If they are slightly off, they still work fine.
The battery is supposed to last for years. According to the manual, it says up to 3 years. That is ideal for high windows, so you don’t have to change them often. I have no way of knowing just how long they last, or what factors would eat the battery the fastest. But the idea of things lasting 3 years is awesome.
I read a little about a way you can use an automatic monitoring feature based on the location of registered smart phones. I am trying to figure that one out still. The idea is to arm and disarm based on cell phone locations. I think that is a great feature, I just need to try it out. I have not gotten that far with it yet.
Also, if you feel like it you can add home monitoring to your system or monitor it yourself from your smart phone. So, it is fairly versatile in that respect. I like having the option to do either one, and changing later if I want to.
If you have a smart camera from Ecobee, these are a no brainer add on. It is a great starter to get a connected home system going. Again, this is just a add on to the camera system. So take a look at that before deciding on this, as it is not compatible with other systems. But, I think it works well and does its job perfectly.

Great plug and play option

The Ecobee smart camera is a plug and play option for someone interested in home security on a budget and who is interested in a more self monitoring option vice having a service monitor your home. To be completely honest and upfront, I like having a home monitoring system, and having someone watch over my house while I am traveling, more so while my family is home alone without me. So, something like this I feel is more of an additional option to the home monitoring for me. But, I will see how it grows on me, and maybe it can be more of a total system option in the future for me.
The biggest features on this device are actually very impressive ones. Mind you, I am still fiddling with it so I am learning as I go.
Pan/Tilt/Zoom: This is by far my favorite feature. This is not a full feature PTZ device, but because it uses the really wide lens (sort of a fish eye, without the bubble look) to move around within the view of the lens. Then you can zoom in surprisingly well too, and the detail is really good.
Two-way Communication: The camera has the ability to have two-way communication. Specifically, you can talk to who you are seeing on the camera and they can talk back to you. Nice option if you want to scare someone away. Or in my case, tell the cat to get off the counter when I am not home!
Alexa compatible: This camera can link to your Amazon Alexa system. I have not experimented with this yet, as I don’t like having a completely connected home. But its nice to have the option if I want it later.
Smart App: The smart app is very user friendly. Similar lay out to most apps, with your main selections listed across the bottom. The live camera feed, set up motion sensors, vacation mode, settings or even select your account.
What I don’t like?
Plug in: This is not a deal breaker, but if I am being picky then to me this is something I don’t prefer. It has to be plugged into an outlet. This limits you from placing it high on a wall or anywhere past the length of the cord.
All in all, I think this is a solid product for someone that wants to monitor things and have a plug and play option to do just that. It was super simple to set up and it linked flawlessly with my home internet. I recommend this system to someone that is looking for that option and wants a great product that is a good value for your money.

Great addition to your iPad

Let me start by saying, I am a big fan of Apple products for my Apple devices. But, I took a chance and tried the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard for the 7th Gen iPad. I have an Apple keyboard for my iPad Pro, and loved it. But the one thing those covers lack is a dedicated touch mouse like a laptop. So in essence, this device is a combo keyboard with an actually heavy duty protection case. Where as the other keyboard I used on my Pro was just a keyboard/cover which offered no drop protection.
So here are the highlights for me:
Keyboard and Cover: As I already stated, you get a high quality cover with a high quality backlit keyboard.
Holder for Apple Pencil: Integrated in the case is a holder for your Apple pencil. I love that feature, one that is not too common on aftermarket cases. It holds well and is really well constructed.
Integration: This device is nicer than most of the cases that are out there for this device. It integrates well, and even has short cuts on the keyboard for additional ease of operation.
Stand: This is my one issue. I am not fond of the way it stands. I prefer to have a strong hinge like a laptop, but the stand on the back works. It is adjustable to different viewing angles, so that is a plus. This is definitely not a deal breaker, its really just me being picky.
This keyboard really turns your iPad into a laptop as much as the devices allows you to do. At the price point, I think it is a solid value. Given that it is for a regular iPad, it really expands the device will beyond a normal iPad. This is a great for me because I travel and use my iPad as a laptop for most of my internet and streaming use. It is perfect for me, and due to the pandemic going on it really helped with the home schooling. I highly recommend this device for this particular iPad, over the majority of the options on the market currently.

Can I pick up merchandise at Best Buy the same day I purchase online
If your local store has it in stock. You will be able to tell that when you go through the online check out process and select the store you want to pick up at. Better chance at a larger store, like the ones that have a huge appliance section. Otherwise, you will have to wait for it to get to the store after you order. And it that case, it would probably better to ship it to your home.

No. It is an Nespress (espresso) maker. You can do an Americano if you want to, but by no means is it made to work like a Keurig for drip coffee.

What is the process for making a latte? Is there a separate reservoir for cream or milk and if so, can powdered creamer be used since it won't spoil?
The milk frother (shown in the photo on this site) is a separate device. It is a one serving at a time sort of think. Fill it, pour it, clean it, repeat. So no worry about spoiling or powdered anything. It actually works really well. I was really surprised.

can this accommodate 12 muffins pan?
No. Look at the product page for it on the website. At the bottom it shows the dimensions of the trays it uses. Off the top of my head, I think they are 13" wide. So maybe a half dozen size pan at the most, but definitely not a dozen.

Are the volume and lock buttons easy to push with the case on?
They are super easy to use. I had an otterbox before and those buttons tend to be a little stiff. These are not. They protect the buttons well without compromising ease of use. You will be happy with it.
