Suffering body aches and pain sucks, suffering body aches and pain sucks more when the pain is hard to get and no one is around! There’s certain devices that when you use one your like why didn’t I think of that and this is one! I’ve suffered like many people from back pain in different areas for years. I’ve used and have percussive devices and absolutely love them, but they have their limits such as when you need deep tissue relief. So when I need that kind of relief I ask my girlfriend, but unfortunately she has limited hand strength to really do but so much. Unfortunately for me I developed a pain between my shoulder blades a few years ago that comes on from time to time and is hard for me to get when no one is around. This device is literally for me like having an extra hand wherever I go!
The device is robust, simple and very easy to use. Attaching the device to a wall or other compatible surface is easy and straightforward. Just separate the two parts with the lever, suction cup the base to the surface, reattach the top and you’re ready to go. This is such a simple device that can bring pain relief when no one else is around and you can’t get it yourself. To me this is a no brainer if you suffer from pain, which lets be honest, we all do!

Good with some quirks

The LG CordZero A9 is a lightweight and quite cordless vacuum with a few quirks! To start off with the good, the vacuum comes with two batteries, two washable filters and a stand for storage and charging. Both batteries can be charged at the same time with one in the vacuum and one in the stand. This is my first cordless vacuum with more than one battery and honestly having more than one battery should be standard for all cordless vacs in this price range or even a $100 lower. The battery life on low is very good, LG states 40 minutes and 6 minutes on turbo. In my combined use of low and turbo the battery only dropped one bar after 10 to 15 minutes of use. Suction on low with the power head was surprisingly good on carpets when vacuuming pet hair. I never felt like it wouldn’t get the hair up when using it on low. The times I felt like turbo was better was when using the crevices tool. When running on low the vacuum is surprisingly quieter than I expected. If you don’t want a heavy vacuum, this is a good option as it very lightweight.
Now for the quirks. Emptying the vacuum is a lot more involved than it needs to be, especially if you’re vacuuming pet hair. Specifically pets that have the fluffy type of hair. The hair just won’t fall out when you open the door like small dirt and debris will. LG engineered the crevice tool to be used to release the silver cylinder so you can get all the stuff out. To do this, you take the tool, insert it in the bottom of the silver cylinder and turn it to release it. This with allow you to get stuff that won’t just fall out. Why LG did this is beyond me, it makes where you almost certainly get dirt on your hands. I believe some of their other vacuums use a lever on the outside that you press to push the dirt and debris out. This should be something that’s standard no matter the price. The other quirk is the powered head, it doesn’t have little gates to let in bigger items such as stuff like cheerios for example. This can all be done using the crevice tool, but If you constantly have stuff like this to clean up and prefer to do it with the power head, it won’t be ideal.
In summary, the LG CordZero A9 is a lightweight, quite vacuum with good suction and dual batteries. Depending on your use case, it definitely is a good option to look at. If you’re looking for something as a backup to your main vacuum it’s a great option.

Well balanced action camera

The Go Pro Hero 11 mini is a well balanced action cam that has pluses and minuses especially depending on your needs. Unboxing and setup is relatively easy, Go Pro recommends charging with the included cable and a 5w charger or charging by a computer, so no fast charging. Go Pro states using non Go Pro chargers could lead to damage to the battery, fire or leakage. They state this on page 58, I feel like this should be on the quick setup guide instructions, as some people may not look at this before changing and potentially damage the non removable battery. I only raise this issue since the battery is non removable.
Using the Go Pro for video is simple and straightforward with either the buttons on the camera or through the Quik app. When using the Quik app transferring video to your phone wirelessly is quick and easy. With a Go Pro subscription you get unlimited cloud storage and auto upload features. Even though you don’t have a screen, the trade off is that you get an extra set of folding mounts on the back of the camera. Changing the controls of the camera is very intuitive and easy with the app and is super fast with no lag in my experience. I did have a few times the app didn’t connect and I had to restart one or the other, but never had any connectivity issues with drop out. The main draw to me for using a Go Pro instead of my phone or a regular camera is the video stabilization. The HyperSmooth 5.0 is absolutely amazing when it comes to video stabilization. It truly removes the need to have a separate stabilizing device. The one improvement with video quality I’d like to see is a regular nighttime video mode. Shooting video in normal mode, low light video is on the darker side, but when you use night lapse the video is bright. I could be wrong but I would think this could be added with an update to the app. Overall the Hero 11 mini is a great action cam the provides great stabilized video and cool shooting modes in a more compact package.

Good cam, app could be better

Setting the system up, I initially had a problem getting the device connected because of iOS 16.1, but after trying a phone with iOS 16.0.1, the device was up and running in about 5 minutes. Once up and running the app gives you the ability control motion detection with the ability to mask off areas to prevent false triggers. You can also set 4 different settings for motion, person detection and you can also control the insensitivity of the lights or cut it off completely. The problem I have with the app is it never seems to show the right time for recordings, even when I go in and sync the time zone with my phone. I’ve had this issue with my previous Swann system and this one does the same thing, even though this one can be adjusted from my phone and the other one has to be adjusted from the dvr. When I go into settings on the app for this camera, it shows the right time zone, but when it records video it’s the wrong time.
Installation is definitely easier than a standard flood light as you install a separate base and then install the camera and flood light portion. The base contains the wiring and the cam and flood light part screws into that with one self contained screw. This is helpful especially if you’re having to install this on a ladder 2 or 3 stories up. Video quality is about as good as I’ve seen from security cams that I’ve used. During daylight you nice sharp video and nighttime video is clear also. Even though this is 4K don’t expect to be able to zoom in at night and read license plates. This isn’t exclusive to Swann or this unit as all outdoor security cams I’ve used struggle with this. For the price, you get an overall great device that gives you the ability to monitor your property with local storage and no monthly fees.

It’s been along time since I’ve used a McAfee product, probably over 10 years. One of the main reasons was switching over to an iPad instead of a pc as my main content device. While I do still have a need for a pc and still use one, I like antivirus software that is unobtrusive and not a resource hog. To my surprise McAfee does both very well while offering total protection for more than just your pc. I like the customization also that allows you to dictate whether the software runs on startup or waits till your pc is up and running.
With McAfee Advanced you get more than just antivirus protection. You get identity protection, tracker protection, personal data cleanup, a VPN and much more. I like that it also gives you the ability to scan thumb drives, sd cards, etc. to make sure you’re not unknowingly installing something that could harm your computer. Like I said, it’s been along time since I’ve used a McAfee product, so long I honestly can’t remember why I stopped using them. But, whatever it was, they definitely aren’t like I remember. The software runs smoothly and unobtrusively in the background on my pc just the way it should be.

Affordable 2-in-1 MagSafe charger

The Best Buy essentials 2-1 MagSafe charger is a MagSafe charger that feels well made especially at its price point. When the iPhone initially got wireless charging I was excited to have it, but ultimately I didn’t use it much. That was until MagSafe wireless charging came along as it gives you a charger that holds the phone at an optimal angle while charging. With this charger getting an optimal viewing angle is easy as the part that holds the phone is adjustable up and down. Using with an iPhone 14 pro max the stand held the phone securely and stayed at the angle it was set at and didn’t fall forward because of the weight. As much as I like the adjustable MagSafe head, my concern is that it may wear out over time especially when using it with the pro max phones. If they had a latch or a button that only allowed the angle to be adjusted when pressed this wouldn’t be a concern, this would be my one knock. If you want a magsafe charger and aren’t concerned about fast charging, the Best Buy essentials 2-in-1 is an affordale entry.

Budget price, but not quality!

Anker has once again shown you can you get a high quality product without breaking the bank. For a long time all I knew about Anker was they made some of the best cell phone chargers on the market. That was until I tried a pair of their over the ear headphones and was blown away that something that was significantly cheaper than the class leaders could actually compete with them. The Life Note 3i continues that same thing. The earbuds produce a nice clean detailed sound no matter what genre I tried, from country, rock or rap. They never left me wanting more, especially at their price point.
One of the most important features to me besides sound with earbuds is can they be used independent of each other, specifically can the left be used by itself for both calls and music. I am happy to say they can! This is such an indispensable feature if you use your earbuds for calls and only use one at a time. And when using them for calls the sound quality is excellent on both ends. The soundcore app gives you the ability tweak all the features from sound to noise canceling. The only feature I can say they don’t have is wireless charging but at least they do use USB-C. Anker shows you don’t have to spend a lot to get a quality set of earbuds, with features and sound that belie their price.

In only a few short years I’ve gone from rarely drinking coffee (and cheap coffee when I did) to grinding my own beans! The De’Longhi Magnifica Evo has given me the ability make all the coffee shop drinks at home for much less. The setup process is a little involved and can be a little intimidating for someone that’s not to familiar with these type of machines. I definitely recommend reading the directions throughly, though it’s not hard, it’s definitely more involved than a regular coffee maker. The machine has a built in replaceable water filter and comes with a test strip to test the hardness of your water so you can set the machine up accordingly. It also includes a bottle of descaling liquid for when it needs to be cleaned.
The process of brewing different coffee drinks is a little bit of trial and error I’ve found. The manuals give good instructions on making espressos but not so much on other drinks. This really is only an issue if you plan to use different coffee beans and not just one. For example if you just dump a bag of beans into the grinder area and that’s all you will use, then you’ll be good to go. But if you use one coffee for over ice and one for hot and a different one for espresso, you kinda have to figure it out on your own how much to put in for each drink. This is the one area I think De’Longhi could improve the manual/quick start guide or even have instructional videos on their website for people who are new at using machines such as this. Those little things aside, the Magnifica Evo is an awesome machine that will turn you into a coffee connoisseur!

I got my first Shark product (a vacuum) back in 2010/11, back then I had never heard of them and took a chance trying them out. Fast forward to now and my house is filled with a range of products from the Shark/Ninja brand. Their innovations are second to none in my opinion especially for the price. The new 3-in-1 air purifier is a perfect example of that. Having everything all in one I was skeptical if it would perform on all fronts and I’m happy to say it does. Even though the area where the air comes out is small, the motor is strong and easily moves plenty of air that can be felt 10 to 12 feet away. When switching between heat/fan mode to just using it as an air purifier, there’s a physical switch on the side to change the mode. This is the only thing that has to be adjusted on the device as there’s a detachable remote that sits on the top to control all other functions.
When using the heat mode the device will perform a build up before starting to heat and also perform a cool down once turned off. Unlike most heaters that have one or two fan speeds, the Shark can be run from 1 thru 6 just like when it’s on the fan mode. Another difference from other heaters I’ve used, the Shark only operates at the highest heat setting in terms of watts. Other heaters I have can be set at a low setting that uses only 750 watts or high that uses 1500 watts. Even though you can set the fan speed to a low setting, the heater is always running @ 1500 watts at least from what I have seen in the manual unless I overlooked something. A feature all devices should have that put out heat (but not all do) is tip over protection and the Shark does and it works as intended. The Shark will kill power before the device even hits the ground when tipped over. When you need all three but only want to buy one… Shark has you covered!

I recently got into photography a few years ago somewhat for fun and somewhat out of necessity. In doing so, I got my first nice camera and my plan was to teach myself all the ins and outs of photography. It somewhat happened and somewhat didn’t, my first nice camera was a competitors brand and though I like it, it’s menu system can be very complicated at times. That’s the one thing that struck me about the Z 30, the Nikon menu system was much easier to navigate. Besides taking pics of my girlfriends cats and hobby stuff, my primary use is real estate photography. When using it for real estate photos the less complicated menu system and controls is something I greatly appreciate.
Taking photos and video, the controls such as the quick access button for white balance adjustment and the excellent touch screen make it easy. The touch screen is very responsive and the touch to focus/shutter is an awesome feature that will make it easy for people coming from a smart phone and using a camera such as this for the first time. Though this is dubbed as a camera primarily for video, it takes amazing pictures right out the box and can produce a very nice Bokeh. When using for video it can shoot in 4k 30p or slow mo @ 1080 @ 120 fps. Though I would like to have Ibis built in to the camera, the lens does and you can also turn on vibration reduction for even more help making things stable.
When it came time to see and edit my masterpieces or atrocities, I initially tried Nikons snapbridge app. I got it to connect to my iPad and iPhone with WiFi, but could never get it to connect with Bluetooth to either my iPad or iPhone. This was a little disappointing, but was short lived when I discovered I could connect it to my iPad directly with a USB-C to USB-C cable and not only could I transfer my pics directly to my iPad this way, the iPad would also reverse charge it. This is my preferred way to transfer as a one minute 4K video was able to transfer in about 45 seconds to a minute. When using the Nikon app that same video took almost five minutes wirelessly. Overall, the Z 30 is a well balanced entry level mirrorless camera that is geared toward video, but takes beautiful photos also.

Googles first attempt at their own phone (software/ hardware developed by Google) is a solid homerun, even though it has a few shortcomings!
The hardware; at least to me is absolutely beautiful and on par with any of the top cellphone manufacturers out there. The software; is so smooth and buttery, there literally is no lag! It reminds me of iOS in the early days. The screen at 5 inches is a sweet spot, though I love bigger screens, it's a nice comprise especially if you want a big screen but dont have big hands.
If you are a died in the wool Android person, this phone is an excellent choice when considering a new phone. The price could be a shortcoming for some, and the lack of headphones baffles me especially when you're competing with the big manufacturers. 32 gb may not seem like a lot of storage these days, but Google gives you unlimited photo and video cloud storage for all taken on the Pixel.
Google should be very proud of this phone and anyone should put it on their short list when searching for a phone.

I understand and know there has been Nexus devices for years that run stock android. But all reports from plenty of sources ( The Verge, Andriod Central, Droid Life and so on) have indicated that the Pixel is the FIRST phone where Google designed the hardware and software to work together like Apple does with the iPhone. Even though HTC made the hardware.

I got my first Bluetooth headphones 2 years ago with the Beats solo2 headset. As much as I liked them having the wire between the two could still be a pain at times depending on what you're doing. The new AirPods are phenomenal from the sound quality, ease of use and just the general quality. These are my new go to headphones, I love the fact I can just use one at a time if I want and the fact the case is a battery also so it charges them when you place them in the case. Worth every cent!

Until Apple fixes the issue with these disconnecting from calls while using a 6s and 6s plus avoid these. I'm on my second pair and they both would randomly disconnect while talking.

Yes, when setting it to home only the door and window sensors will be aramed. Unless you change that in the settings to where the motion sensors are armed when choosing home mode.

What are the differences between Xbox 360 and Playstation 3?
I am trying to decide if I should buy a Xbox 360 or a Playstation 3? I wanted to know the differences between them
I have both and barely play the ps3. The differences between the two are, The ps3 has built in wifi, has the ability to browse the web, bluray, and online is free. 360- you have to pay for xbox live gold membership(silver membership is free) it is worth it though. The 360 has a much better controller, after a while the ps3 controller buttons start to stick. The 360 has better exclusives ( though there are some potentially good ones coming to the ps3).Xbox live marketplace is second to none, netflix tons of arcade games and just all around more fun.
