They may look cute, but there's nothing nice about the characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This fighting frenzy will have you inflicting painful KO's on familiar opponents you thought were your friends. Take your frustrations out on Link, Mario and other characters from throughout the gaming world. Shoot spaceships out of the sky in the Lylat System from the Star Fox games and deal out killer blows in Rumble Falls based on the look and feel of Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat.Hit opponent after opponent to build up your damage meter, then knock your enemies clear off the screen. Rely on weapons that are silly but very effective, such as banana peels, pitfalls, gooey bombs and many more. Hurl old-school crates and barrels or select from Assist Trophies and Poke Balls to strike fear in the hearts of your foes. Combine Standard, Strong and Smash attacks to bash your way to victory. There are so many ways to smash, you'll get lost in the melees for hours on end.

If you like the Smash bros series, you should get this game. There's lots of fun to be had with friends, but aside from the new characters, there's little here that you haven't done before.

This disc contains four episodes from the second season of the science fiction series Farscape. The titles included on this disc are "Mind the Baby," "Vitas Mortis," "Taking the Stone," and "Crackers Don't Matter." Each episode is presented in its original broadcast aspect ratio of 1.33:1. English soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. There are no subtitles, but the episodes are closed-captioned. Supplemental materials include a commentary track during "Crackers Don't Matter," a featurette on the characters, a biography of one of the actors, production art, and a guidebook for the language used in the series. This is a great disc for fans of the series and genre enthusiasts.

One of the best sci-fi series

This was a great start to a great series. There are a few cliches, as there are with every show of this kind, but the unique idea of the main character is the big draw. If you enjoy science fiction, this is a show not to be missed.

Fun, but repetitive

If you're a fan of FF7, and want to find out how many of the characters met, this is the game for you. If these things don't matter to you, go ahead and skip it. The game play is repetitive, and the missions do get boring, but if you can trudge through, you will be rewarded with an ending that is one of the most touching in FF history.

There's little to write about this game. It stands up to the enjoyment of the console versions in every way. If you like the series, this is a must buy and the only way to enjoy Kratos on the go.

Fantastic game

If you like GTA and Sly Cooper (this is like a combination of the two) or wanted to play a FUN superhero game, this is the one for you. There is so much fun stuff to do and the only complaint I can give is that sometimes you want to just land on the ground, but the auto grip attaches you to a building or ledge. Other than that, it's fantastic.

This is a great game, but has to step up in the face of games like Fallout 3. Like that game, the controls take a little getting use to, and although become easy to use, I still found myself pushing the wrong button from time to time until the end. The use of a vehicle was nice, but there needs to be an easier way to figure out where you need to go when on foot and the inventory system needs to be tweaked. There were also a few times my character would get stuck in the scenery. But all in all, an enjoyable game.

There' s a reason this movie was going to be straight to DVD, because it's terrible. The story was poor, the dialogue was worse, and the only redeeming value was the makeup for Jigsaw looked cool. Aside from that, its a mindless curse and slaughter film. I expect something like that from a Nightmare on Elm St or Friday the 13th movie, but even the last Jason movie had a better story than this. There is a reason it's rated R, so unless your child is in their teens, you shouldn't watch it with them.

For the most part, I don't care for this movie, but it does have a number of funny, tongue-in-cheek moments. What really makes it passable for me is the appearance by Tom Cruise, acting in a way that I swore I would never see him in a movie.

When I heard this game was made by the same guys as Oblivion, it already had one strike against it. I couldn't stand that game. But onthe constant urging of a friend, I tried this game and I'm glad I did. It takes a little to get into, and yes, it's controls take a little getting used to because there's so many options, but once that's out of the way, it becomes second nature and you become addicted.
I would get the 360 version over the PS3 because of the extra downloadable content that's exclusve to the 360.

Although the plot has been played out, the angle of chimps being the astronauts and doing the heroic deeds, makes this movie passable and at times fun. If you have kids, they'll love this. If they don't get something by Pixar.
What's great about it: MONKEYS!

not only will you have to buy a converter so the electricity isn't a problem, but you'll have to buy an AC adapter so you can even plug it into the wall.

total new to the modern era gaming

I am from the old time 80s with the single arcade games. I want to get a system for my kids. From what I read, seems like the PS3 with the BlueRay is a no brainer. What am I missing? And what else do I need to get so they can play right away.
Thanks
The system you want depends on your kids ages and interests. The Wii tends to aim to the younger crowd, and the 360 gears more towards the sports fans and online players. For my money though, I love the PS3.
The system comes with only one controller, so you might want to get more depending on how many kids you have. Also, games are important and I would recommend Ratchet and Clank for platformer/action, Orange Box or Bio Shock (depending on age) for a first person shooter, LittleBigPlanet if they're creative, or Lego Star Wars: The complete saga if they're fans of legos, star wars or just a fun simple game.

External Hard drive for PS3??

My boyfriend hinted several months ago that he would like a hard drive for his PS3. But Im not a gamer or electronic freak like him (haha) so I have no idea what Im looking for. Any suggestions?
If I remember right, you can use pretty much any external hard drive with a USB port. Ask a Best Buy employee or game store employee to be sure though.

best multi co-op games for ps3?

My husband and I enjoy gaming together, but haven't found many good games since Project Eden. Are there co-op games for the PS3 to play at home, not online?
A lot, just depends on what you're interested in. Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Guitar Hero/Rock Band, any of the Lego games, Simpsons, Rayman: Raving Rabbids... there's tons. Just depends what you like.

you don't even need one wheel. All you need is a Wii remote and hold it sideways. The wheel is just a plastic attachment to give you a more driving like feel.
