Great Gamming mouse for a Budget price!

The new FNATIC Clutch2 is one of two new Fnatic Gear gaming mice. Fnatic Gear is outfitting the Clutch 2 with the best optical sensor on the market, this thing can track any movement your hand can make! The PixArt 3360 optical sensor has a maximum CPI setting of 12,000, and it can be adjusted in 100 CPI increments. The sensor can track movement with up to 50Gs of force and has up to a 12,000 FPS frame rate. The cable is rubberized and comes with a cable tie so you can use the full length (it is long!) or gather it to your desired length. The The main processor is a NXP 32-bit processor an improvement over the old Holoteck unit. Omron D2FC-F-7N’s are used for the main switches rated with a fifty million click lifespan The whole mouse has a two-year warranty very generous for a gaming mouse.
There are a load of features such as the ability to adjust lift-off-distance, DPI and RBG color Schemes. The Omron D2FC-F-7N switches have solid clicks and give you great sensory feedback improving game play and reducing missed clicks. There are are two thumb buttons on the left. The scroll button has just the right tension and no extra play, it is also clickable. The button behind the scroll wheel allows you to change profiles and is almost level with the mouse surface to prevent accidental changes during gameplay.
The profiles, RGP colors and pattern and the DPI as well as the lift-off are set up inside the FNATIC OP software. The software is early access at the moment and still being developed. I did not have any bugs occur with the latest version. The same software can control the settings of FNATIC keyboards.

This mouse just feels good in my hands, if you have a smaller hand the Flick2 may be a better choice. There is just the right amount of RGB lighting without being distracting. The FNATIC OP software is well designed and allows fine tuning of the mouse for any player, in addition once you set up the mouse you can uninstall it if you want or even move the mouse to different systems and it will keep the settings without installing the software. This is a great gaming mouse for at a very good price point, I highly recommend it.

All I can say is WOW! I did not expect this monitor to be so good.
The HP 27 Q is a QHD monitor that supports 2560 x 1440 resolution (2k) This is great resolution for gaming, with it’s fast 2ms response time the games look and respond fantastically. I think the panel is a TN panel though it is not listed anywhere I can find. Regardless the colors look great, and the monitor is very bright. The viewing angle is less than my 27er monitor but who uses their computer on an angle anyway, the comments I found about the viewing angle are only important when it is used as television in larger rooms with multiple viewers.
With 3.7 millon pixels to work with photos and Videos look great on this monitor. I use it to edit my media and it is much clearer than my previous monitors allowing me to see subtle color variations.
This monitor comes with a Vesa mount making it multi-monitor ready. The thin bezels are perfect for multi-monitor setups. There are HDMI, Displayport and DVI imputs.
The only real negative is the monitor is so bright you might want to turn the brightness setting down based on your preference.
If you are looking for a Great gaming or video/photo editing monitor with a lot of real estate and fast response time at a budget price than this monitor is for you!

Great Budget 4K UHD HDR TV with FireTV

The Toshiba 55 inch 4K tv with FireTv is a very good prefrormer for the price. It provides the latest version of the FireTv integrated into a budget 4K UHD HDR TV.
The TV comes well packaged with feet for placing on a dresser or stand the TV can also be wall mounted.
The remote is an expanded version of a stand and Amazon FireTV remote with a live TV , Netflix, Amazon prime video, HBO and PlayStation vue button. There is a volume rocker and a mute button as well. The remote and Tv are Alexa enabled and respond to voice commands. You can even add Alexa skills to the TV to control other devices. The remote is Bluetooth and infrared. Some things are not that obvious such as how to use the remote to get to the TV settings, Just hold down the Home key until the settings menu appears and then use the navigation circle and button to select the desired setting. You might want to adjust the dynamic contrast, brightness and contrast using the custom setting. While in the live TV mode or the AFTV mode use the three bars to select any settings available.
I spent some time watching a variety of content from Netflix, Hulu, Amazon and OTA all looked really good and there were no glitches at all. The OTA set up will need your Zip code to generate a guide which is included. Alot of reviewers remark about the poor black levels or the low brightness of the panel. Although this TV does not have the specs of much higher units I found it pretty good at playing streaming content including 4k. At this price point I did not expect it to match my LG OLED or Samsung series 6 QLED but it was not bad at all.
As far as connectors there are three HDMI inputs, a USB port, and an optical audio output on the left. Side and an Ethernet port, antenna/cable connector, and an RCA composite video input facing more toward the left center. It also has a power button that doubles and an input button on the lower right. The Wifi connected solidly to my 5ghz AC connection.
If you want a 4K UHD HDR 10 TV at a budget price and you are an Amazon Fire TV user then this is a great choice.

Great Sound, Cool new look!

I received the Rig 500 headset with the Pro model gaming headset for review, it really looks and sounds great. Plantronics has improved upon last years model with several enhancements. The Prom model comes with a Copper colored metal headband, this contrasts well with the other black components. The leatherette cushions are comfortable and provide great isolation from room noise. There are three positions for the ear cups to adjust for different size heads. The headphones are very comfortable due to the high density memory foam and the leatherette in the ear cups. The face of each ear cup is fabic and they breath well keeping them dry during use. They are very comfortable to wear and great for those long gaming sessions or movie watching.
The sound is great and with the free Dolby Atmos® activation credit for PC the sound in Atmos enabled content and games is incredible. Plantronics seems to have tweaked the response curve just enough to give great sound without over-boosting.
The mic has great sound quality. It does is noise canceling some positioning is necessary to avoid breath sounds. The Mic is removable and has a mute feature activated by fliping the mic up. The mic attachment is very stable and does not loosen with use.
The cable is flat tangle free design with a volume slider built in.
These headsets are a great value , they look and sound great! If you are looking for a gaming headset and don't want to spend a bundle these will fit the bill. It has added to my gaming experience with Atomos sound and the great sound Plantronics is known for.

Clip is the new AI powered camera from Google. It is cool that they have packed there people recognition algorithm into a chip a feat in its own.
While the clip may seem to be a security problem it is not, all clips are kept and processed in your camera. Your clips are never uploaded, never sent to Google. There's no internet connection, the Clip connects to a single phone at a time by a Wifi Direct link.
You can manually train the camera to recognize people and pets important to you or you can “prime” the AI algorithm with pictures from your google photos. The AI is contained on a chip in the camera not on some remote server.
Google is serious about privacy your videos encrypted and Clips won't let other phones access them in fact it will wipe your Clips internal storage if someone tries. The only way to access those videos, according to Google, is to stream them wirelessly to your phone. You decide wat happens to them from there just like your other photos and videos.
The clips are assembled from still images into seven second clips. The camera decides what to capture looking for familiar faces or interesting activity with the AI.
The Camera captures a 130 degree wide angle view with optimal focus at 6-8 feet at 15 fps at 6-8 megapixel resolution in 1080p. The video is H264 encoded. The camera lens itself if gorilla glass.
You can export clips in many formats including MP4, Jpeg, and Gif. Using the Clip app you can extract single photos or export the whole clip.
You use the device by setting it somewhere and letting it automatically capture based on the AI. This is where training helps, I have the sense that if you train it more you will get more of what you want but that has not happened yet. Google will probably update the AI and provide a training routine as more of these get out into the community.
I was able to get some candid shots of my wife using the clip and the quality is good.
Overall I feel this camera has potential but it needs more development
for the $249 list price you can purchase better products. At a $50 price range I would buy it if you have Kids or pets you would like to get pictures of that you may otherwise miss. If Google adds more AI smarts and includes sound in new models then my opinion may change.

Great addition to HT-Z9F for even better sound

I recently received the Sony HT-Z9F 3.1 Atmos soundbar (7.1.2 emulated) for review. While this is a great sounding system on its own the addition of these wireless rear speakers enhanced the sound experience. I noted even more separation of the sound position. Pairing these is a breeze plug them in and they pair wirelessly automatically. If you purchase the HT-Z9F I highly recommend adding these speakers.

The Sony HT-Z9F is a feature packed soundbar providing 7.1.2 sound in a 3.1 package. It is a technological sound wonder! With all the features this review is a little long but worth the read if you are considering this soundbar.
The Soundbar and subwoofer come in the standard L shaped box. The packaging is well designed and holds everything well preventing damage. The system was extremely easy to set up due to its HDMI connections and Wireless sub woofer (and later additional wireless rear speakers).
The design is good looking, black finish and only about 2.5 inches tall. You can choose to use it with or without the speakers exposed using the magnetic speaker grill. If you are an audio purist you will get the best sound without the grill. If you have small children who like to poke things I recommend using the grill. The sound bar should fit under most TV’s without blocking the picture or IR receiver. The sound bar does have an IR repeater so you do not have to worry about the IR receiver being blocked anyway.
The subwoofer is compact enough that it fits into a corner easily. All you have to do plug it in and turn it on and it pairs automatically with the sound bar. The finish is black also.
The soundbar has 2 HDMI inputs, both of which are 4K HDR 18 Gbps pass-through and HDCP 2.2 allowing Dolby Vision,HDR10 and HLG. The HDMI out with ARC for the TV. I can also confirm the ARC implementation works bidirectionally allowing input and output. There’s also a LAN port, USB, 3.5mm audio, and optical audio. The soundbar also has built-in Bluetooth, WiFi, and Chromecast. You can also send music wirelessly to remote speakers around your house by using the Sony music pal app and other Sony wireless speakers. You can even control the soundbar with your Google home.
Sony had endowed this soundbar with a decoder for almost every Dolby and DTS format. You do have to use the HDMI inputs on the soundbar for Dolby True HD. I was able to connect everything to my LG tv and pass it through on the ARC input. You do get Home theater available on the screen and have to switch the inputs to the desired device but I have it all set up with a Logitech Harmony another great device!
Setting up the soundbar was easy through the onscreen interface and pairing the subwoofer (and later the optional rear speakers) was plug and play! The soundbar comes with a lot of options and preset sound modes. I recommend you use the express set up first then adjust with the advanced manual settings as needed later.
There’s a lot of extra options if you do the advanced manual set up, but I didn’t find I had to change any of them except one. The HDMI signal format, which is set to Standard by default and needs to be Enhanced to pass through 4K/HDR. If you have your speakers set up so that they are not physically centered with your seating you can change the sonic center in the set up. This allows the seating to be any configuration and still providing sound as the director designed it.
The soundbar sounds great with anything playing through it, but it sounds incredible when you’re watching something that really takes advantage of higher end formats like Dolby Atmos and True HD. To test this I’m using this soundbar with my LG 65 inch C6 OLED 4K HDR television and my Phillips BDP7501 4K UHD Blu-ray player an Nvidia Sheild TV, and Amazon FireTV2 which supports UHD HDR and Dolby Atmos or Dolby TrueHD sound.
I watched Startrek on Beyond 4K Blu-ray with Dolby Atmos and the sound was Incredible. Netfilix and VUDU streaming from the TV and both streaming boxes sound great also. Most Dolby Atmos soundbars and speakers have extra speakers that are oriented to bounce off the ceiling and create the sound above you. The HT-Z9F doesn’t have any extra speakers for this, but Sony uses their Vertical Sound Engine, which uses the existing speakers to create a virtual soundfield. This works great, you hear sounds at all heights around you creating a cinematic experience right in your living room.
There are optional rear speakers (SA-Z9R) that can be added to this, they are not included in the 3.1 package. I highly recommend the rear speakers as they give you 5.1 surround sound (7.1.2 emulated because of the vertical sound engine). The soundbar sounds great on its own, but with them this sound system really rocks! My former Vizio 5.1 soundbar sounded good but this Sony soundbar creates a completely exhilarating experience especially with with the optional rear speakers. The sounds are clearer and the sonic positioning is more accurate allowing you to have a true theater like experience thanks to DSEE HX (digital sound enhancement engine) and the Vertical sound engine.
The remote is well designed it allows you increase the voice level for those movies and tv shows where you have a hard time hearing the characters speak. There is also a night mode that cuts most of the bass and softens the overall sound of the soundbar. The vertical sound feature can be turned off , although once you experience it you will probably never turn it off.
In summary Sony has produced a sonic masterpiece in a compact soundbar. You will enjoy the theater like sound it produces for all your listening and video activities. This soundbar has every feature you may want.

Well Corsair finally made a gaming mouse that looks and feels as good as it works. This is a high precision mouse with RGB lighting. The Rainbow mode has ever changing colors but if you have a favorite you can set it to that color. There is no noticeable heat in the palm area from the corsair logo.
Weight and Size
This mouse is on the heavy side, I really like that! The weight gives stability and improves fine movements. The size is perfect for my hand which I feel is average size. This mouse has a thumb rest on the left side and swap-able magnetic panels one without a rest and one with it for the right side.

There are additional buttons to the left of the left click button that can be programmed for anything you desire. On the left side there is a three button pad with a sniper button in the middle and a forward and back button. The sniper button lowers the DPI to allow better aiming of weapons. Pre-built profiles for popular games would also be a great addition. Of note there is an active user forum to discuss and find solutions for many games and applications.

The wireless module also supports Bluetooth 4.1. The system is equipped with 8 GB of DDR4 -2666 memory (Micron) and can be upgraded to 32GB. The hard drive is a 256GB Intel SSDPEKKW256G7 PCIe SSDs. There is an extra hard drive bay with the HD tray and extra screws needed to install one. I did have one quirk installing the extra drive I had to go into the bios and switch the boot drive to drive 1 (the internal) as the additional drive is designated drive 0 I already had windows on there from a previous computer and it booted to that drive instead.

Conclusion
I found the gaming performance was really good, I played Fortnite, Final Fantasy XV and Star Wars Battlefront. There was no noticeable lag and excellent response. Only at Best BuyPull in HDTV signals from local stations up to 60 miles away with this Mohu Beam antenna. It's 23 inches long and looks like a sound bar to blend with your home entertainment equipment, and you can mounts it on the wall. This Mohu Beam antenna includes a signal amplifier for clear digital reception.

Mohu is not a company who you associate with pretty antennas, well that has changed. The Mohu Beam Premium Indoor/outdoor amplified antenna is a good looking antenna.
The whole antenna is contained in a thin plastic beam, this can be mounted indoors, in the attic or outdoors. The antenna even comes with a kickstand so you can put it on any flat surface. They advertise it as looking like a soundbar and it can be mounted to a wall under your TV. I wish they also had hardware to mount it to the tv mount so it could be mounted on an angled TV that stands away from the wall.
This antenna comes with a USB powered inline amplifier that can be plugged into your TV's USB port or the supplied plug in USB power block. The New FirstStage amplifier is located right next to the antenna, resulting in less pixelation and increased reception capability.
The performance of this Antenna is outstanding. I tried the original Mohu leaf and the glide and this antenna was able to get 10 additional channels because its position was not limited to the windows or doors. Even with the leaf antennas held in the same position I received a more stable picture. The better performance could be the new amplifier or the multi-directional design of the antenna.
The setup took 2 minutes with none of those sticky squares you need to use on the other antennas. If you choose to wall mount the antenna they include the bracket and hardware required. Two different length coaxial cables are included as well as a straight and 90 degree coaxial connector. They also include a kickstand if you want to put it on a flat surface.
If you need a good looking and excellent performing antenna. I highly recommend this antenna. The fact you can mount it in the attic or outside it a plus.

Yes up to 32 mb, You have to be careful with module selection to achieve the top speed. There are two slots. Apparently according to other online reviews come with 2 4gb modules but others like mine came with 1 8gb module. You have to get the correct voltage and density modules to achieve 3200mhz otherwise the laptop will downclock them.

Yes, HP ink is available at many retailers. I personally use the Instant Ink program. If you print on a regular basis it is a great deal. My ink costs have gone way down and I never run out!

Yes you just need to install a dual outlet valve, they are available at many home supplies. I would suggest a valve that attaches to the existing one. If you replace the existing valve it is more involved you will need to turn off the home water supply, unscrew or desolder the old valve and put a new one on.

Yes, you just have to install a split feed adapter to your water supply one will go to the faucet and one to the filter. The out of the filter goes to you separate faucet. You will have to purchase the splitter separately, there are several types just make sure the one you choose does not restrict flow in any way.
