Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements are Adobe's 2020 is the updated suite for regular people who want to improve, edit and make great creations from our photos and videos.
The Photoshop Elements 2020 has some great features most exciting are the are Adobe AI they call
Adobe Sensei AI. AI Sensi does some incredible things including automatic object selection, skin smoothing, colorization. New for this version Auto Creations where great looking photo presentations are created automatically and available for preview on the homepage ready for you to save or share to your social media or send to your friends and family.
The effects are great, here are what they do. The guided edits are great and make very complex Photoshop effects easy for non professionals. The guided edits will also teach you and you can graduate to the expert mode as you get the hang of things or use the guided edits to start off and finish in the expert mode. Each guided edit allows you to save or continue editing in quick or expert mode.
Alot of the effects start with Automatic subject selection, a great and very accurate tool allows you to apply many special effects by effortlessly isolating the selection for the effect or removal.
Pattern Brush lets you add cool patterns on top of your photos like stars, hearts or spheres 15 in all.
B&W Selection changes parts of your picture black and white to emphasize your subject and give it an artsy effect.
Depth of Field lets you keep the subjects in focus while blurring the background creating depth in your photo.
Painterly effects for Auto Creations adds artistic effects to your photos by allowing you to change your photo into a pseudo painting. You can isolate the subject with brushes add a background canvas with texture
Colorizing of black-and-white images brings life to old black and white photos giving you several colorized options to automatically change those old photos into color creations.

There are basic tools that let you clean up and enhance video color, contrast, brightness and sharpness, Again Adobe has great guided editing tools most of us will start here then use the basic or expert mode to finish editing.
The guided tools I use are the simplified noise reduction tool that can make grainy video more clear this works especially well for dark video. The animated sky replacement tool lets you add moving sky to your photos, this can replace a grey or dark boring sky or create crazy effects. With the time lapse tool You can easily turn images and videos into dynamic time-lapses or video presentations with custom music and transitions. You can use color pop to make the video black and white with a color object remaining like a scarf or a hat. Your can slow down the video for slow motion effects. You can take vertical video like cell phone video and add effect to fill a full horizontal screen. You can add a bounce effect that forwards and reverses the video.
In the expert mode you can do much more as you learn to use Premiere Elements.
The only thing to take note of is multi-cam or 3D editing is not included you will need to purchase Adobe’s Professional tools.

Great RGB portable gaming keyboard with a click!

This keyboard is a simple rectangular design. The case is plastic with large rubber pads on the bottom and has swing out feet that allow 2 different height adjustments. The keyboard is very stable due to the pads and the weighting of the keyboard.
The USB cable is detachable to avoid breakage when packing up your gaming rig into a backpack. The Tenkeyless (no number pad) design makes the keyboard very portable and leaves extra room for mousing area while gaming or other activities.
The GX blue clicky switches have great tactile feedback and an audible click while retaining a quick response and the travel needed for gaming. I really like the clicky switches. The LED’s are fully programable with the G Hub software downloadable from the Logitech site. The LED’s are bright and the tops of the keycaps are well lit. The secondary actions of the keys are on the keys are not lit. I wish Logitech lit the symbols on the top as well. The function keys are programable with macros for games or other complex key commands. You can turn off the LEDs with a switch on the top right of the keyboard. There is a gaming switch that locks out the windows key as well as other keys during your sessions. You can customize which keys are deactivated.
The G Hub software lets you set up different profiles for each game or activity. There are downloadable profiles and Community designed lighting to add to those included from Logitech. You can custom design lighting and gaming profile and upload them if you are that creative!
I have got to say the response time on this keyboard is great, a real pleasure to game with. With the full RGB programability you can configure your keyboard to highlight key groups, advertise your team logo or just look plain cool! As for regular typing it is very comfortable. The keyboard feels solid with a great build quality. This will make a great addition to your gaming rig.

Expresso drinks at your fingertips

The Philips 3200 LatteGo Superautomatic Espresso Machine is a great coffee machine able to brew 5 specialty coffee types Espresso, Coffee, Americano, Late Macchiato and Cappuccino as well as hot water. Each drink has it’s own button selectable on the front panel. A proprietary water filter is supplied, Philips calls it the Aquaclean system; it does water conditioning and filtration. The system monitors itself and lasts about 5000 cups. The 64 oz water tank is large enough for several coffee drinks as is the 10 oz coffee hopper. The front panel also sports Adjustable dose(coffee volume), aroma (water volume) and milk volume.
The milk system is a fantastic innovation, cleaning is easy with the 3 piece system it has no tubes so cleaning is simple. The whole thing attaches easily and works great.
At first the coffee was a little weak even with max settings and fine grind but the system seems to adjust itself after about 5 brews. The coffee is excellent now. This system does Preinfusion that wets the coffee to give better extraction.
The milk system is a fantastic innovation, cleaning is easy with the 3 piece system it has no tubes so cleaning is simple. The whole thing attaches easily and works great.

Cons
The maximum coffee volume is not as large as my other super automatic in coffee mode with a single grind/brew cycle, in order to get 8 ounces you press the button twice the machine grinds then brews 4 oz then repeats the cycle a second time. The Espresso and Americano also have this feature. The milk drinks are a good volume.

Pros
The LatteGo milk system makes the milk based coffee drinks a joy.
The removable brew group making it easy to access for cleaning unlike many other machines. The water tank loads from the front and slides out, no top to remove or break and easy to fill
Phillips designed this machine for ease of use and they succeeded. All this is packed into a compact great looking machine.

For the price this is a great super-automatic. It is a great machine to add to your office or kitchen! If you love coffee and want to ditch the trips to Starbucks I highly recommend this machine.

Feature packed Color LED printer

The Brother MFC-L3710CW is an LED printer with 50 pg ADF for copy, scanning and fax and Prints 19ppm. This is an entry level color LED printer with a lot of features. LED's (Light Emitting Diodes) are used instead of laser to bond the toner to the page.
Connectivity is by USB for direct connection, Wireless for network devices and WiFi Direct for non network phones and tablets using Air print, Google cloud print or Brother Iprint and scan. If you want to use USB you will have to purchase a USB print cable as it is not supplied.
You can scan or Fax receive to many of the cloud services like Google drive and Dropbox and others. The scan and fax functions work well, No problems with either. The ability to store, print, forward, email and save document to network or cloud locations makes this MFC device very flexible for any circumstance.
There are many other apps available.
Setup is a breeze, just follow the onscreen prompts on the printer LCD or setup utility on your computer. Choose the WiFi network and enter the password and it connects without any problems. The WiFi connection is stable and I have had no problems printing from any of my network devices.
This is a good entry level color MFC printer. I would have liked to see auto duplex printing and scanning, these features are available in other manufactures entry level printers. Brothers own MFC-L3770CDW is avalible for about $50 more which also includes an Ethernet port. Ethernet connectivity is not a deal breaker for these printers, in fact I prefer the wireless now. WiFi allows placement of printers in many places without a wired Ethernet port.
Printing costs are a little high BW costs about 2.6 cents each and color prints will run about 15.5 cents each, based on published specs. There are printers that will output color at a much lower cost but the upfront cost is higher. High yield cartridges are available.
I had some color banding with solid color printouts, 1 out of 10 test prints. Overall the color prints are good quality for business output but not presentation quality. The color will probably be improved a little with firmware updates and settings tweaks.
Overall this is a great Multi function printer for a home office or a small business that does not need duplex printing. If you need the duplex function then the upgraded MFC-L3770CDW is a great choice. Brother printers are a great value offering a lot of features and outstanding build quality for a great price.

This is a great charging block that will charge you computer, phone, tablet or any other device with a USB C or USB A charging port or cord.
A long white USB C to USB C cable is included, it is very thick and high quality. The charger is a square block charger and the plug blades fold into it to protect it and allow easy carrying. The configuration will allow you to use both wall outlets easily as the plug is offset. The charger itself is white and looks great.
The power output is 47 W for the USB C port and 12 W max for the USB ports. The USB C port is more than enough power for a Macbook , Chromebook or Tablet PC. The USB ports will charge a phone or tablet with ease. A total of 3 devices can be charged at once all in one small package.
This charger is USB-IF certified, this means it is certified to just work with your USBC device and the Wattage specified by a stamp on the charger is what you will get. If you want to protect your device from damage this is what you want to get!

This adapter is a necessary addition for tablet or all in one computers. The adapter can also be used with android tablets and streaming devices with a USB port or an adapter. As for quality it solidly made and looks great.
With most computers this adapter is plug and play. I tested the speed and it was as fast as my other computers with built in 1 GB Ethernet.
The USB 3.0 interface will not slow down any data either.

The Cobra Drive HD dash cam with iRadar is a great addition for you driving safety and insurance documentation. It includes 8GB MicroSD Card , Adhesive Mount, and Vehicle Power Adapter. I was up and running in 5 minutes. It would be nice if Cobra had some videos for popular models of cars on how to run the power cable under the panels but YouTube is your friend here. There are kits to allow you to plug right into your fuse box. The power adapter plugs into a USB receptacle and a cigarette adapter is provided if your vehicle does not have one.
The1296p super Hd video that works in well in daylight or at night, I had no problem identifying details in recorded video.
The iRadar is a cool feature, it warns you where red light cameras are as well as locations where police have been spotted. I can confirm this feature works as advertised. The iRadar Smartphone App tracks your location speed, time stamp and sensor info in on your smartphone. The App is great and has an excellent map and speed limit info for your current route.

This camera has has some advanced features that warn you of if you drift out of a lane or approaching an object in front of you too quickly. This is a great feature to have adding preventive collision protection.
The camera automatically records continuous loops erasing the unneeded footage. If the camera detects an impact it will save that footage for documentation. The camera also has motion detection that will record while the car is parked, this can detect anybody tampering with your vehicle or a parking lot collision.

This dash cam is advertised to withstand extreme temperature conditions this could mean better durability in an automotive environment with it’s extreme temperatures when parked. I did not test this but it is a welcome addition to protect it from early failure.

Cobra has made a great dash cam packed with useful and easy to use features. The iRadar app is great and works on IOS and Android.

Atmos Soundbar with great design.

The Samsung HW-Q70R is a great looking soundbar with solid construction. The soundbar is not very high so it wont block you screen on a stand, you can also wall mount it. A mounting kit with template is included. There is one HDMI input, one HDMI output with ARC an optical digital audio input and Bluetooth. The USB port is for updates. The HDMI ports support 4K@60p, 4:4:4, HDCP 2.2, Dolby Vision, HDR10,10+ and HLG.
There is an LED display on the bar that will light up when you adjust the volume or change the sound mode, it dims after a while, great in a darkened room. You can adjust the sound, input and power on the bar itself but the remote is easier. The remote is standard Samsung style, easy to use, slim and light.
This is a 3.1.2 soundbar with 330W output. And a great Subwoofer. The 8 inch bass speaker is great for movies as well as music. There are 2 speakers for Atmos that face upward, they bounce sound off your ceiling to give the illusion of sound at different heights. Samsung has used Harmon Kardon’s expertise to tune this system for TV, movies, sports, gaming and even great music. You get most Dolby Atmos and DTX versions supported. If you want to expand the system optional rear speakers are available.
The sound out of this system is fantastic. You have the Standard mode that leaves sound as it was, Surround adds dimensional quality horizontally to the sound and Atmos or DTX really expand that vertically. There is a game mode that will leave you feeling like you are right in the middle of the action! I did notice the dialog was clearer than my Sony Atomos bar. The sounds that are supposed to be behind you are a little less well represented than systems with rear speakers but they are great for a 3.1.2 system. I would highly recommend getting the rears if you want the best experience.
For the price this is a well tuned great sounding soundbar. If your TV does not have enough HDMI inputs for your devices you will need a switch, make sure you purchase one that handles all the modes and will not limit what passes to the soundbar.

The Sony WH-X900N are great headphones. They offer Noise canceling, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC as well as regular bluetooth pairing. Charging is via USB C and a USB A to USB C cable is provided but you can use your phone charger cable if you have a newer device. The Sony Headphone Connect App will let you customize the Codec. Not only will you get Sony’s own high-quality LDAC codec, but you’ll also get aptX and aptX HD. These are an improvement from the standard SBC codec that all Bluetooth audio devices use. With the app you can control the noise canceling feature with twenty different levels you can block out almost everything to nothing at all. There is also an adaptive sound control that automatically adjusts the Noise canceling if you prefer. If you cover the right earcup with your hand the noise canceling shuts off, this allows you to hear someone talking to you.
As for the Bass, if you love base these are the headphones for you! You get enough to rattle your brains with these cranked up. The sound response for highs and midrange are fantastic due to Sony's expertise in audio codecs.
The fit of these headphones are very comfortable, they are very light due to the plastic construction. The plastic is texturized giving them a good feel and allow griping without any slippiness. The headphones come with a carrying bag and fold flat.
The connection is Bluetooth 4.2 you can also use a regular mini jack headphone cord. Pairing is easy, you can use NFC to initiate it or the regular Bluetooth pairing of your device.
The battery life is incredible, I had to delay my review to get these headphones to finally go dead which was about 37 hours of use. This is even longer than the Sony advertised 30 hours.
The feature button of the left earcup can be customized for Alexa or google assistant with the App. This works great with both devices.
Overall these are a great sounding Headphone with Slamming bass and an extra long battery life. Sony has done a great job again!

Great Looking output, no cartridges!

Finally a printer without cartridges, Epson has produced a great printer. This supertank printer prints at about 1 cent per color page. You can print 7500 pages black and 6000 pages color that's the equivalent of approximately 80 cartridges. The white printer has a very clean modern look and the large 2.4 inch LCD panel is clear and easy to read. The touch panel has an adjustable angle.
Setup is a breeze. You fill up the tanks then allow the printer to “initialize” this takes about 10 minutes then you go through a printer head alignment process that takes about another 10 minutes. I do wish the printer would print out test patterns and then scan them to do the adjustments itself. Thankfully you can not fill the tanks with the wrong color ink as each is uniquely keyed.
Next you connect the printer to your computer by wireless, Ethernet or USB. For Ethernet or USB you will have to supply the cords. You will need to download the software driver package and run it on your computer. After you have completed the software install you will be ready to print.
To get the best print output you will need to adjust the print density. The default settings are a little light.
I have to say I was surprised by the quality of the printer output. This printer is on par with similar HP models. You get great output, Scanning, coping and wireless printing from Windows, IOS and Android devices. This printer also has fast 2 sided printing and borderless printing up to 8.5 x 11 inches.
This printer is compact and low profile taking up less desk space than Epson’s older models with more features.

Yes up to 32 mb, You have to be careful with module selection to achieve the top speed. There are two slots. Apparently according to other online reviews come with 2 4gb modules but others like mine came with 1 8gb module. You have to get the correct voltage and density modules to achieve 3200mhz otherwise the laptop will downclock them.

You can scan photos but will have to print out on a printer. You may want to choose a high resolution flatbed for best results.

can i go to the stores to buy HP ink?
Yes, HP ink is available at many retailers. I personally use the Instant Ink program. If you print on a regular basis it is a great deal. My ink costs have gone way down and I never run out!

Yes you just need to install a dual outlet valve, they are available at many home supplies. I would suggest a valve that attaches to the existing one. If you replace the existing valve it is more involved you will need to turn off the home water supply, unscrew or desolder the old valve and put a new one on.

Yes, you just have to install a split feed adapter to your water supply one will go to the faucet and one to the filter. The out of the filter goes to you separate faucet. You will have to purchase the splitter separately, there are several types just make sure the one you choose does not restrict flow in any way.
