Great Clean, Major improvement over 500-series.

The Roomba 890 vacuum robot is the best Roomba I have seen yet, and a big improvement over our three previous 500-series Roomba model vacuum models. Overall, it seems much more powerful (cleaning) and intelligent than its predecessors, it is also quieter. First, and perhaps most important, the 890 appears to have no problem with darker colored rugs (based on my initial tests with a reddish rug and a blue rug that the older Roombas had struggled with due to cliff sensor design) – I was thrilled to see they seemed to have solved that in the new model. Secondly, the Roomba 890 seems smarter, I noticed how without hitting a corner it would make a right turn around a corner without hitting anything (nothing for it to bounce off of indicating the turn – as the older models seemed to require from memory)-- Also it seemed to approach any furniture or walls SLOWLY. It still does come to a touch with furniture, but the touch is slower.
The online wi-fi service gave me some problems connecting initially after it paired (there was a delay of 3-5 minutes before first instruction reached Roomba 890) – but perhaps after giving the Roomba fully time to register it seems to now be responding great over the wifi now and since. Even if the network was a problem though, there is a button on the robot itself to just make it go.
I personally would not normally use the scheduling feature, only because I know from experience that these things need to be emptied after each run and I'd rather control when they are run. Still, with these easier cell phone scheduling controls, I won't rule out occasionally using the scheduling feature.
I am overall very happy with the cleaning job this robot is able to do compared to previous models, and the convenience of cell phone control is a nice plus.

Good Sound, Nice Bass, Clear, Visual Display

The first thing that caught my eye about this SoundBar was not the sound but the visual display on it (it displays volume, mode, settings, etc. - right on the speaker itself). The sound is clear and crisp - even at max volume, and the bass is good. When it was loud it didn't "sound loud" (it didn't sound bad). I primarily tested it with the included optical cable with a Samsung 6-Series 4K TV (noted because this is a 6-Series speaker) but I also tested with a 2015 Samsung 1080P TV. Surprisingly, in some ways the older TV worked better with this speaker (for example, volume control worked from tv remote for optical audio input, on the 6-series that only worked in wi-fi direct mode, which i guess was similar quality; but the tv itself was full of 'software bugs' with wifi direct it seems, unrelated to the speaker, which made this frustrating to use in this mode). I was more than impressed with the sound quality of this speaker. This speaker is definitely a nice addition to the home theater.

Makes a Great Latte, Just requires some practice

I've had a lot of espresso/lattes in my life (Last 12 months, I spent near $1900 at coffee shops- according to financial software), but I have not personally made many of them myself. It's not as hard as I thought, but there's probably a few important things I had to learn (besides having the right grind): like, wait for the lights. The 'espresso' button (not just the power light by the word espresso) has to turn green before it is really ready to make espresso. Also, If you're going to steam milk, it seems you should press the steam button early in the process to give it time to make the steam, and wait for the light to turn green before actually turning on the steam (I admittedly can be less patient here). One other thing, when you fill the grinds, tap it down (flatten it) with the other end of the scoop, and clean off the edges. Those were my mistakes in my first two servings. If I had one disappointment, it was that our standard coffee mugs didn't fit under the espresso dripper, we had to find other cups to use. I am not 100% certain if this will entirely replace trips to the coffee shop, but it may at least reduce them which is a benefit and cost saver in the long run.

Easy to Use - Grinds For Any Coffee Maker Easily

This grinder had easy to select ranges of settings, clearly labelled for each type of target coffee maker. That made it much easier than I expected to grind it to the level I would need for the machine I was going to be using (in my first test case, an Espresso Maker). To verify, I actually did use the beans ground in the espresso maker to make several cups of Espresso and it came out pretty decent as far as home brewed espresso goes. I had used the medium setting for espresso grinding, and while I did enjoy the coffee, I anticipate I will slightly alter the grind up or down to see how it affects the flavor of the coffee. One note, after you've ground beans and it has finished, if you are going to transport the machine, you may want to first 'tap' the machine a few times to 'clear' the ground coffee that has not yet fallen down. In fact, any time you change the type of grind and/or bean you may want to do that.

Repeats Signal without slowing down or dropping

This repeater seems to work well from my early experience with it. When i positioned it as directed, about mid way between router and low signal area, it would provide good coverage and speed (better than any other repeater I have tried, and this is probably my fourth or fifth). The fact that it seems to dedicate a channel to the router and two separate channels for clients is brilliant and really makes this model stand out to me. As a repeater, keep in mind it creates a separate SSID (net name) so you'll have to (potentially manually) switch to the 'new' network (or switch back when moving between)-- but that's more a flaw of the product category rather than the products themselves.

Simple To Use, Made Rug Like New

This Bissell is an easy to use upright deep cleaner that does amazing job of cleaning carpets. I picked this model even though I do not have pets, as I hoped if it could handle pet hair, it could handle anything. We cleaned three rugs and it did an amazing job on all. The time from opening the box to finishing cleaning all three was under 1 hour (including assembly and moving furniture off rugs). The whole setup and clean process was simple, and as per results: the colors look brighter, and the rugs are definitely cleaner (almost look new). The box implies that it's better than the leading rental cleaner, and I'm inclined to believe them. I want to say more, but really the thing is simple and it works great and I don't think much more needs to be said.

Excellent Portability, Somewhat OK sound

I can see myself using this when biking outdoors, maybe clipping it to my shirt. The speaker is tiny (smaller than i imagined when i saw it online) and when you consider that, it is impressive. If you are looking for amazing sound quality, it's obviously not going to be the same quality of a larger and less portable speaker, but if you just want to be able to take your music with you when you're walking or biking (and it's a bad idea for safety to wear headphones while doing that on streets) then this is a great solution. The charge is supposed to hold for up to 3 hours, which for me is more than i'd use on average one-time need.

Amazing Sound, but get App first

When I started writing this review I had a slightly negative opinion of the speaker. However, I started poking around the app a little bit, and my first comment would be- Get the "Sony | Music Center (songpal)" app and set the sound settings to your personal preferences. While I like some bass, I prefer a little more treble than I was getting.. After fine tuning it, I love the sound quality of the speaker, and might see if I can get a second one to make it left/right stereo speakers. It's worth noting only other Sony speakers seem to be compatible with the left/right mode.
I really enjoy the lights, they seem to go with the music, and with the app you can customize them - such as making them a solid color, or even turning them off to save battery. The battery itself seems to be pretty good, and Sony claims it will play for up to 24 hours (I presume with lights off) on a single charge, and I think I believe them from what I've seen so far.''
While pairing the device to the phone is "Easy" (all I did was tap phone to radio and it paired using NFC), I would get the app first and pair from within the app. If you don't do that, it seems you need to un-pair the speakers before re-pairing them in the app (and again, the app is where you get the settings for the speaker).
Water resistance should be nice to have in the summer, as I might take it out by the pool or that kind of thing.

Great idea, Not 100% solution for me though

I was really hoping to write a short positive review, but there were some issues which I had to share.
I love that this has taken my 3 separate router/access-points each of which had two network names, and managed to put it all on one network name. Unfortunately, for example, my android-based tablet always seems to connect on the (slower) 2.4GHz network and there is no obvious way to fix this (without perhaps forcing the whole network to use 5GHz, which is not an option).
The signal seemed excellent in some areas that had weak signals before.
A few times while using it, it seemed to disconnect wifi, but after 5-10 seconds it would reconnect. This was in a location with 95-100% wifi signal.
Also, Transfering files on my DELL laptop from network drive -- On Velop i was maxing out around 7MB/sec. Compare that to my previous Linksys Router (wired wireless-access-point) which was getting 27MB/sec peak.
I slightly dislike that i needed to buy network switches because the Velop system only has 2 ethernet ports. On the other hand, now that is done and i don't have to think about the number of available ethernet ports on future devices.
My old access points were "wired" to ethernet, and the secondary nodes here don't seem to work that way (other than as bridges maybe?). This has potential performance implications.
The nodes not being wired i perhaps have more freedom to more optimally place them, so there are potential advantages in using this in areas a wired access point cannot be placed..
As per setup, it was "easy" but twice i had to restart setup on a node after it seemed to hang for more than 5 minutes, and one of those times i needed to factory reset a node..

Great for tuning out background noises, No loops!

The LectroFan is the first of these "white noise" machines that I think I will actually be able to use. It does not seem to loop its noise (being generated by an algorithm rather than a sound-clip), which oftentimes would be an annoyance of these kinds of devices (you can always tell). I like the selection of 20 "noises" to choose from.
Most of the white nose sounds remind me of the old analog antenna TV's when you change channels and see the "snow" on the screen. One or two of the white noise options remind me a bit of a steady heavy rainstorm. The white noise sounds seem to go from lower pitch range to higher. I understand these are supposed to also help with Tinnitus, I believe I have that (a steady ring in the ears) though I have never seen a doctor about it.
The fan noises, I have one on now as I've been writing this, you can actually tune out fairly easily (at a low volume)--- I hear it but it does not grab my attention (I think that's important for sleep). My hope is that this will help me sleep by blocking out early morning noises, like cars on a nearby street or other people waking in the morning in the house.
If you turn the volume up on this thing, it gets fairly loud, which is great if you need privacy for example. For my uses, a quiet but audible sound is probably what I'll use most.
It will probably take me a while to find a 'favorite' sound, but they're pretty much all usable.
