Same issue with a PC, no mini-USB to USB cable included. I already had one laying around, but the driver to attach the camera depends on handing it off to a cloud before I get to see the pictures. Bad Canon! Naughty, naughty Canon! My pictures, not yours. Hands off and keep out!
The Image Gateway is not part of the wifi solution on my iPad and Android phone - the Canon Camera Connect app communicates directly to the camera on the local network when the camera is in Wifi mode, and has worked great for getting pictures from the camera to those devices. I havent been able to get the Windows version of Camera Connect to work, however. It keeps losing connection with the camera and won't retry without restarting windows, and then fails again.
I just pull the SD card out and pop that into the slot included in just about all modern PCs and laptops. If you can afford this camera, and a Mac, then an SD card adapter is cheap cheap cheap, really.
