Maybe you are not waiting long enough for it to complete the scanning process. My scan took about 20 minutes to complete. However, if it is in the scanning process; you will see some changes on the screen as it goes through the list of channels.
You need to make sure it's connected to something, even just an antenna. That's what we had to use for ours bc we didn't have a cable jack in the kitchen. And it knew automatically to scan once I got to that screen from the menu.
Can't answer the MA question directly but I can tell you that it is not enough to power the Chromecast. For the Chromecast to work, I had to run the USB cable from the TV's USB port to the Chromecast. It works perfectly when the USB cable is used.
Hi! I'm looking for a small tv for my room less than $100 to watch netflix in my room. My wii has netflix on it. Can I hook up my Wii to the TV and get Netflix? or is there an app on the tv?
This is not a smart TV, so it does not have apps. But if you have a device that already has Netflix on it, you can hook it up to this TV as long as you have an ISP.
This model does not have a built in DVD player. NS-20ED310NA15 (20 inch, 720p) is our current model that is a comparable size that has a built in DVD player.
Yes, you can connect your laptop to this TV via the USB port, and the TV will function like a computer monitor. You can then watch any videos that you have on your computer on the TV.
definitely not... you can connect devices like cromecast.. that connects to wifi and then see netflix or any other streaming signals.. but TV do not connects by itself.... :)
This TV is light enough and has rear screw mounts to attach to an under-cabinet TV mount or the wall but you still need to hook it to a signal source; such as a HDMI DVD player and/or cable-TV or TV-dish and/or an antenna. It has a good tuner and got several SW Ohio local stations from a 24" wing antenna in the house. You'll also need an electric wall plug within about ten feet.
Was looking to replace our old under cabinet 15" TV/DVD/Radio combo, but it was 2x more than getting this and an articulating wall-mount (from the jungle).
I've seen under cabinet mounts, but wasn't impressed by them.
