The washer will pause during the wash and spin cycles. The washer alternates between agitate and soak during some wash cycles to get your clothes cleaner with less wear. The washer may pause during the spin cycle to remove soapy water more efficiently. If there is no power to the washer, check the plug to make sure it is fully inserted into the outlet and check the circuit breaker-flip it off and back on to reset. You may need to check the drain as well for any restriction or kink in the hose. The top of the drain outlet should be less than 6ft. above floor.
