I would strongly suggest you not do this! This is a shredder for the home or light business use: shred a few sheets at a time as needed. I wouldn't do batches.
I never had the chance to do a lot of shredding but from my experience, i guess when it's full and after emptying the bin or doing a reverse then forward, it will work again.
You can shred for 5 continuous minutes and then you are supposed to shut it down for 20 minutes before you shred again. I have followed instructions and it works great.
It is surprisingly small, I would say 60 sheets, you can pack more in there but the more you put in the more likely you will jam the machine, its best to dump it often.
Yes - The basket is included with the purchase. The final product looks exactly like the photograph. However, when the product arrives in the box it's not assembled but assembly only takes two seconds (customers only have to put the top of the shredder on the basket - very easy - and no way to get it wrong or put it on backwards due to the neatly fitted product design).
It is not advised. The cellophane material of the envelope's window is very flimsy and the shredder cannot easily cut the material. Jamming will occur.
No. The intake for the paper is for 8 1/2 " wide paper. (There's a small amount of wiggle room, but definitely not enough for anything 9" wide.) But since this will handle multiple sheets, you could always fold the envelope over if it doesn't have too much inside.
The paper shredder slot is only 8.5 inches wide. The shredder can accommodate up to 10 sheets that size though so you may be able to fold larger pieces of paper and shred them that way.
To pull out unshredded paper or to remove paper jam, this shredder can be switched to REV mode (reverse setting). Do not apply this mode if wastebasket is full.
