The antenna comes from the wall mount hand up. it is a small mast and can easily be installed in an attic.

Yes. The mast IS INCLUDED. You can mount it or hang it from a couple screws or a horizontal pole.The higher the mount the better, however the DIRECTION it faces is the MOST IMPORTANT thing!Aim toward your stations tower locations.

I didn't use a pole or mast. When I mounted mine I did it by hanging it with a shoe string from the curtain bar. Works well for me and that includes the antenna with the wiring back that comes with it.

Yes, there is an outside mount included. Currently, due to the weather we are using it inside(in our living room) and just have it hanging from the loops. It works fine for us this way.

A:

Yes, a pole is included with a mounting bracket. It is only approximately 2 feet long angled on one side. The bracket allows you to angle the mast.

Those are (basic) cable channels. You cannot pick those channels up over the air with an antenna.

No. Those are cable channels. They are not sent OTA (over the air). You need cable, satelite, or a service like SlingTV to get those.

No.You can buy an antenna for $10.00 that will give you all local channels .That is all you will get with this antenna it will not pick up cable channels.

No. It only picks up your local broadcast stations. It works exactly the same as the old roof top antennas.

if they are broadcast locally then yes but if the channels are 'scrambled' it will not clear that up. the channels you mentioned are normally only available with a subscription

No those are cable channels, it will only pick up your local t.v channels. Fox, NBC, Abc, Cbs, Pbs, CW, telemundo, univision, and any other local channels. But i recommend you mount outside for the best reception

Yes, in the summertime when trees are full of leaves. I suspect in winter we will add 3-4 more channels because of a better line of sight signal.

Yes. A few trees shouldn't be a problem, but a lot of trees could be.
I used to live two miles from transmission towers, with a large, heavily wooded area between my house and the towers.
In analog days, we had decent reception without any external antenna. When they went to digital, no signals wade it through the trees. A small, non-amplified digital antenna made little difference.
I think our analog signals were probably borderline usable, but you can do that with analog signals. Digital just drops out altogether once it falls below a certain point.

we live in a highly wooded area & I had the same concern but turned out I didnt even have to install outdoors, only sits atop the set, so I would say as a general rule trees have little effect

I haven't had any problems with tree's degrading my signal and I have many around my property. Now a bad rain storm will degrade it some but no major issues there either, placement of the antenna is definitely key. Hope this helps

Trees will not affect signal, but digital signal is mostly "line-of-site", so walls and houses next door if between you and the broadcast antenna will. Mounting antenna higher is better.

My antenna in the downstairs is actually outside in my water heater closet. There are large trees and concrete walls and it comes in strong. The range is 50miles so i would check to see how far your stations broadcast from but i don't think it would be a problem at all. with trees.

It's my understanding that broadcast channels are designed to only transmit about 50 miles -- but I may be wrong. We are 30 miles from the transmitting towers and this antenna works well for us.

Yes, it has the hardware included to attach to a pole and should be easy to mount. We chose not to mount ours unless it was necessary -- luckily for us, it works just fine sitting behind our TV.

Yes. Easily if your pole is small diameter. I'm assuming a 30' pole isn't 1" diameter, so then you'd need to make some adaptions with some hardware from your local home suppy store.

It may require additional or custom work for the mount itself, but yes, the usually the higher the better. The Clearstream 2-V bracket will handle up to 1 5/8" pole. A pipe clamp should work. Thanks so much.

I recently purchased this antenna, and intend to set it up this weekend. I was hoping to hook it up to the existing main junction left by the cable company. Can I use my existing coaxial set up with the antenna and the internet at the same time?

Yes and no. I have internet coming into my house through my cable so I couldn't tie the antenna in directly. At the junction box, I had to disconnect the input (the cable that fed all the cable outlets in the house) and run it directly to my cable modem and then back at the junction box I tied the antenna in by splitting it to the up and downstairs (the same place the input was originally going) so it's running to all the cable outlets in the house now. I hope this helps.

So sorry... They cannot mix. You can separate the two right outside the home by the box. You may need to piggyback through an already existing hole or drill a new one to get inside. Once you can use the already installed coaxial for the antenna and the new run for your internet. Thanks!
