Q:
I have over a 1,000 work data-files (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Visio) on my work computer, embedded in about thirty main folders. I want to provide backup copies of my work files, and maintain these backup files in respective backup main folders. So, I would prefer to command the flash drive to copy all files, one main folder at a time, into a similarly-named backup main folder.
However, I've had problems with copying files with long file names. These long-named files, have caused problems with trying to copy clusters of files (within one main folder), if any files within the cluster of files has a long file name.
It would be labor-intensive, to shorten the file names, for those files that have long file names.
Does the HP 16GB flash drive have any copying issues for files (Excel, Word, Visio) with long file names?
