Never thinking I would ever need more than 1 terabyte of storage, I decided to try out this Crucial 2TB P310 Gen4 NVMe SSD to see if it would speed up performance on my PC. Well this P310 doesn't disappoint.
Installation is very straight forward if you have ever replaced memory in your PC. If you need help, there are plenty of youtube videos to help you along. As far a storage goes, this is top of the line. The Gen4 performance sped up my boot time, and gave me plenty of room to store all my games, documents, pictures, with a quick response when opening all my applications like photoshop and powerpoint.
The best advantage to this upgrade has definitely been storing all my games on it. The load time to start a game has improved about 20% and switching between games and other apps has lightning quick response time.
The Crucial P310 Gen4 is built with Micron® Advanced 3D NAND, supporting super fast sequential reads up to 7100MB/s. Crucial boasts that it's 2 times faster than the previous gen3 and 20x faster than SATA. Not being a computer guru, All I can say about the sequential reads reaching 7100 MB/s is that my boot ups, games and apps are performing much faster and efficient then my previous storage.
I would highly recommend this Crucial P310 if you need more storage and improved speeds.

Right out of the box you will immediately see and feel how thin and lightweight this Samsung - Galaxy Book4 Edge is. Right at 3 pounds and super slim, you will be able to take this anywhere. The color( Sapphire blue) is a nice upgrade from the plain metallic silver look of most laptops. I also love the sturyness of the screen when opening. One finger lift to open and no screen wobble.On the side you will find 2 USB 4.0 ports,1 HDMI port, 1USB 3.2, and a micro SD port.
Next the screen... The 16" OLED touchscreen is amazing. The 3K Amoled screen produces vivid bright colors and deep blacks. With a 120HZ adaptive refresh rate, transitions are seamless whether watching a movie,video editing or light gaming. Even while using on my patio, the screen seemed to change as the outside brightness changed. It is very glare resistant even when the screen is facing the sun.
The trackpad is giant which sounds like a good thing except that it makes the keypad further away from the bottom.You have to rest your your hands past your wrists on the side pads to get in a good typing position. I will take that inconvenience in exchange for the 10 key. I love to use a 10 key and am so happy this Samsung - Galaxy Book4 Edge comes with one.
The performance of the Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite Processor is unmatched. It has plenty of power for the everyday duties of a laptop along with brute strength to power the most demanding AI applications like Copilot+ where you can create and edit images, Live translate and use Windows Studio Effects. The NPU handles all these tasks efficiently which helps keep the unit cooler and has very little noise if the fans do kick on. You will be able to get 10+ hours of battery life on a full charge. Thats should satisfy you work, viewing, and browsing project in between charges.
I take my Samsung - Galaxy Book4 Edge everywhere.

I have had bluetooth sunglasses in the past but wanted to try these Ray-Ban Meta - Skyler Smart Glasses for the advance AI and picture/video capability. I was really excited about them until I opened the case. I first noticed the (blah) greyish frames matched with the pinkish lenses. These definitely skew to a more feminine user although I would for sure wear them if they actually worked better to block out some sun. The fit is very tight if you have a head bigger than that of a teenager. I do actually really like the cat eye frames, they look very cool. All that being said, that is the last negative things I have to say. The rest of the review is all positive and how well the amazing technology works.
Set up was very easy. Download the app and go through the tutorials on how to use the glasses as they are very helpful. Saying "Hey Meta" allows you to ask question and give commands to your glasses. To take pictures or video you can say "Hey Meta" take a picture or video or just press the capture button on the right arm of the glasses. To let people know you are taking pictures or video, a led light blinks on the upper right side of the lens frame. The Camera is on the upper left side so when taking pictures of someone right in front of you, it is best to turn your head a little to the right to center your object in the picture. I tried a video call on Whatsapp with my wife who was in Hawaii at the time and she and I were amazed that she could see exactly what I was seeing by double tapping the capture button. That's some futuristic stuff!!! One other cool feature is you can send a picture you just captured without ever touching your phone. Just say "Hey Meta, take a picture", then say "Hey Meta send last picture" and it will ask for the recipients name and send it via text. High Tech!!
The feature I really love is the sound quality of the speakers. As I said I had another high tech companies Bluetooth sunglasses and they are no match to the sound these Ray-Ban Meta - Skyler Smart Glasses put out. Music comes through with a good mix of rich audio and deep bass to form an amazing listen. You can control the volume with a slider on the right arm of the glasses . You can also program your glasses in settings to open either Spotify or Amazon Music with one touch on the side of the glasses. At this time, the Ai can't go directly to a song when saying "Hey Meta" but maybe something that can be updated later on. There is also no navigation built in yet but if your have Google Maps open you will hear turn by turn directions through the speakers of the glasses.
There are so many more cool function's to play with but unfortunately for me, My 20 year old daughter will probably get more use out of these than I will.

I have used many probe thermometers before but all were wired and after a summer of bbq'ing the wires would get charred and pinched from the cover and begin to fail. This ThermoPro Twin TempSpike fixes all those problems. No wires, no fuss, just insert the probes, grab a beverage and let the ThermaPro do all the work.
When you first get the ThermoPro Twin TempSpike give it a full charge with the included usb cord. You will notice the case it comes in is plastic but when lifting it you will notice it has some heft to it. The booster case is not cheaply made but has kind of a cheap plastic look to it. The probes themselves are very sturdy. There won't be any flexing of the probe as you insert them into your meat. The probes are about 3 inches long with a line at about 2 1/2" that must be covered up by the meat so as not to damage the probe.
Once your unit is charged, download the app with the easy to follow QR code in the user manual. The app allows you to follow the cooking progress of your meat, set internal and ambient temps and customize your own cooking instructions for different types of meat. There a preset internal temp guidelines for different types of meat. Once you click your meat profile you can then choose the doneness of your meat from rare to well done. The alarm will sound on you phone when the internal temp meets the doneness you set. The setting I like most is the pre alarm. Set it from 5 to 15 degrees before the desired temp and you will then know that it's time to get your side dishes ready and get the table set. I do wish there was a setting to let you know when to flip you meat. Of course you have a constant reminder right in your hand where you can see the internal temp on your phone but a nice little beef halfway through cooking would have been nice.
The app has many other convenient settings and alarms. You can also customize the alarm sounds.The default one is kind of an ear piercing continuous beep so I was happy to see I could set the sound to something a little more peaceful. If you don't want to carry your phone around the booster where the probes are stored also has a LED screen where you can see the internal and ambient temps of your cook. It's nice because it magnetic so you can just attach it to a non hot surface of your BBQ and see the temps as you cook. It also has an alarm which notifies you when the internal temp has been reached. I didn't need to test the 500ft bluetooth range because I will probably never be that far from my BBQ but was impressed that the unit stayed connected to my phone all around my house and backyard.
As far as I have seen the ThermoPro Twin TempSpike has cooked my meat to perfection. I like my steaks on the med rare side and my wife medium well, so having the twin probes that can be set to different temps is a winner for us.

When I opened the box I was kind of amazed at the Sony - ULT FIELD 7's size. At just a few inches short of 2' long standing on end, My first impression was "is this going to be portable?" Well it is!. Even though it's spec says 13 pounds, it's a very easy carry. If 13 pounds is a lot to you there are handles on each end so you can hold it across your body but it's just a easy to grab one end and carry with one hand.
Out of the box the Sony - ULT FIELD 7 came about 70% charged. I decide to plug it in anyhow while i downloaded the app and explored it's functions. Within 15 minutes it had a full charge. Where the cord plugs in on a back panel you will also see a button to turn of the lights, a button to hear your battery life left and a port to plug in mic's and guitars. Also there is a USB port and aux port.
When you are all set up and ready to listen you will be amazed by the sound coming from the Sony - ULT FIELD 7. I started with the ULT7 setting to off and you get really good clear vocals and music without the pounding punch of bass. But then I picked some of my favorite bass pounding tunes and was blown away by the deep punchy bass coming from this unit. On ULT1 you get a rumbling bass that doesn't over do it but sounds great. Then onto ULT2 where the bass was rumbling through my chest, the table it was on and the walls. It was like being in concert, close to the stage. Don't get my wrong, it wasn't a distorted bass sound ruining the music and lyrics, but instead a beautifully schyronization of the 2 woofers pounding out deep bass while the tweeters were still strong enough to produce great highs of the music and vocals that weren't drowned out by the bass.
The look of the Sony - ULT FIELD 7 is very eye pleasing. The buttons on the outside of the speaker are huge and easy to use. The power, Bluetooth, volume and ULT button are easy to find standing on end or on it's side (there is a flat edge of the round ends to keep it from rolling). The waterproof case is very important as you will definitely want to take this to the pool, beach, lake or anywhere else the party is happening.
Battery life is really amazing too. The specs say 30 hours. I haven't put it to the test but I'm sure with the lights flashing, bass on full blast, volume up loud you might not get the full 30 hours but who can party for that long anyhow. It is nice that a quick plug for 10 minutes will get you another 3 hours of use.
They recommend 2 apps to download. The Sony music app is the one you want, The fiestable app is not really necessary to download as it is built right into the music center app. In Music Center you can add you music apps for ease of use without having to switch apps to change your music. In settings you can also change the ULT setting and change your sound with a custom EQ. The Fiesatble link has pretty cool features if you were at a fun party with lots of people. You can set the colors and flashing speed of the lights on the speaker as well as use your phones motion sensors to turn up volume, change songs and pause music. The cool thing if you had a lot of people is they can all download the app and use the party light feature which would turn everyones phone into an interactive light show.
All in all this Sony - ULT FIELD 7 Wireless Speaker is fun for easy listening all the way up to a bass boosting rave.

As a work from home, streaming, casual gamer who wanted a top of the line laptop, this Dell - XPS 16 16.3” FHD+ Laptop was perfect.Unboxing it the first thing I noticed was the weight. It's not light at 4.5 lbs but it does feel well built with it's platinum colored aluminum shell. When opening the lid you will notice it doesn't have a 10 key number pad but that the actual keyboard has giant keys that are backlit. The touchpad is also not your typical touchpad. It's seamless for a sleek look. The whole palm rest and touchpad are a very smooth glass surface that is very comfortable to use.

I got this Storm Shell Weatherproof TV Enclosure because we love hanging out in our backyard during the summer and watching baseball games while floating in the pool. We have used TV stands before but when you have those pop-up summer rain storms there's no protection for our non- weatherproof TV.
This Storm Shell Weatherproof TV Enclosure is perfect for protecting your TV. I received it in December and didn't really plan to enjoy it until summer time. I figured I would mount it right away and see if it could handle a winter in the California Sierra's.
When unpacking, it is a little daunting. I thought it would come a little more pre assembled than it was. The back shell and the cover come unassembled in 4 pieces along with the TV mount, cover braces, attachable power strip, fan, and all the hardware needed. The instruction manual is pretty much useless. Do yourself a favor and follow the link to You Tube video's that help, (but not completely) with setup. Our house has wood studs inside the siding so installation was not to difficult. I would consider myself an above average handyman but it did take all my knowledge along with the videos to mount this Storm Shell Weatherproof TV Enclosure.
The day after mounting completion, we had about a weeks worth of rain. To my surprise and pleasure there was not a drop of water inside the shell. I cannot wait until spring/summer time to fully enjoy this Storm Shell Weatherproof TV Enclosure. Watching games in the backyard and not having to worry about bringing the TV inside every night in case of pop up thunderstorms will be a relief. The shell also has lockable latches for extra security.

It's a five star for us because this is just what we needed for our home office. Most of our use with the Canon - PIXMA TS7720 will be printing documents, scanning documents to our computer and printing a few pictures. This TS7720 is perfect for that.
Unboxing and setup is very easy. take the unit out of the box, attach the power cord, read the quick start guide, insert the 2 included ink cartridges, connect to WIFI and download the Cannon app. You are now ready to print. The real nice thing is this printer does not take up much space. At only about 15" wide, we have it on our work desk and there is still room for 2 monitors, laptop, keyboard, mouse etc.
The color LCD touchscreen that tilts up is so easy to read and very easy to use. From there you can press to scan, print, copy and change setting for the printer. Printing just black ink pages is very fast. Specs say 15 ppm. I didn't have a stop watch on it but the
Canon - PIXMA TS7720 printed at least that fast if not faster. I also printed some color graphs from my document folder and the colors came out very vibrant with no blurry or fuzzy lines. I did try to print out some photos off my computer onto photo paper. The printing time was somewhat slow but the pictures came out just as good as the online photo printing service we subscribe to. I don't see how it could be cost effective though as we can get prints online for 5 to 10 cents each. But again we did not get this Canon - PIXMA TS7720 to print massive amounts of photos.

At the cost this is the perfect printer for home use like work, kids school work and light picture printing.

After receiving the Ninja - Woodfire ProConnect I read the instructions, cleaned all the cooking surfaces, plugged it in and prepared to connect it to WIFI so I can use all the cooking options on my phone. That was the first problem. My backyard which is only 50 feet from my router and where the Ninja - Woodfire ProConnect was would not connect. I brought it inside to the kitchen which is only 20 feet from my router and still no connection. I literally had to move the grill about 5 feet from my router before it would connect. I know it wasn't the router because I have a TV and speakers in my backyard that receive the WIFI signal with no issue. Once connected it stayed connected after moving it to it's position on the back porch.
Now it was time to try it out. I bought 2 big New York steaks, seasoned them , and let them rest to room temperature. I wanted to use the thermometer method so I chose the "beef" selection and the "med" setting. I also pushed the Ninja Woodfire Tech button to get that smoke flavor on my steaks. Within a minute the (included) pellets fired up and the grill started to preheat. When preheated I pushed the thermometer into the middle of 1 steak and put them on the grill and closed the lid. This is where problem 2 arose. Within a minute my phone and the grill beeped and said my food was done. It had to be operator error right? Well the thermometer was directly in the middle of the steak but the temperature reader on my phone and grill said 75 degrees. So I'm not so sure what happened there. I will say the temperature that the included thermometers were showing was the same as my digital thermometer.
For the quality of the food... It was excellent. Nice smoky flavor, nice pinkish inside when cooked to 240 degrees and great grill marks. Also the last 5 minutes of the cook there was plenty of room to throw some sliced zucchini on the grill so everything would be done at the same time.
I tried some chicken breast the following night and once again after 1 minute of cooking the app and grill told me the food needed to be flipped. Then 2 minutes was told the meat was done. I will keep trying to use the included thermometers in case it is operator error. I really do love the smoky flavoring that this Ninja - Woodfire ProConnect produces. It's not overwhelming so you can still taste the seasonings or marinades you use. I can't wait to try more proteins and vegetables on the grill as well as air frying and broiling.
Cleanup is very easy. The removeable grill or fry basket clean up easy with soap and water and the grease trap is amazing with a disposable tray that you just throw out and replace with a new one when full.
I really love this Ninja - Woodfire ProConnect and hope to fix the issue I have had with it.

I decided to try this WORX - WG384 40V 14" Cordless Chainsaw after my gas chainsaw kept giving me issues. I LOVE the fact that you don't have to worry about changing gas, mixing gas, changing spark plugs etc. Just charge and cut.
Now if you plan to cut down trees, quater the rounds, and continue all day, this is not for you. But I will never need a chainsaw for that. That's why this WORX - WG384 40V 14" Cordless Chainsaw is perfect for me. A neighbor had an oak tree fall so he cut it up into 30 to 36 inch pieces. I put the Worx chainsaw to work to cut up those rounds and the blade cut through those 8" pieces like butter. We also have oak trees in our yard and during winter limbs and branches are falling constantly. This will be perfect for cutting those up to manageable size for seasoning or disposing of them.
The battery life is iffy when cutting big pieces of wood. I cut 3 big pieces of a trunk( see pic) down to quaters and when done after about 45 minutes both batteries were down to 1 green light. I actually thought that was pretty good as that will probably be the most big rounds I would cut at 1 time. I'm sure if you are just doing limbs and big branches you could get an hour or more use out of 1 charge.
Once again switching to a battery operated chainsaw is so gratifying knowing that it will just start working if the batteries are charged. The frustrations of not knowing if your gas is fresh enough or your spark plug is firing correctly is completely relieved with this WORX - WG384 40V 14" Cordless Chainsaw.
