Easy Install product in this Hot Thermostat Market

The Ecobee Smart Premium model Thermostat is the hot ticket, (or is that cold?), for easy installation and great looks on your wall. I already have been using a competitors model for the past 4 years and my wife and I always thought something was never right with it. The temps read within the home were always off, never felt what was being ask for or displayed.
Once I opened the package and seen the size of the unit along with everything you needed to install it was great to know I needed minimal tools to install this Ecobee Smart Thermostat. Included is the thermostat, backing plate, wire plate, power adapter for systems that do not have the needed power wire and the wall attachment hardware. Once everything was laid out, I downloaded the Ecobee app and headed to the new product add feature and picked the Thermostat. The app gives you step by step instructions the entire way through making it so easy I could have had my 15 year old do it. Make sure you utilize the cable labels when installing, it makes it 100% easier instead of trying to read small font on your phone with the picture you took, yes, I know some of you will still do this.
The Ecobee Smart Premium Thermostat turned right on and I started the procedure to setup and register it with Ecobee. The first time it did not take and it was because I closed the app too soon, so make sure to keep the app open until it says it is successful. When I started the project, the old thermostat read 75 degrees, once the new one turned on 10 minutes later, the Ecobee read 71 degrees. This right here made me know for sure the old thermostat was never correct as we suspected the entire 4 years of use. What will this do for us? Save us money on gas and electric! Proper temperatures in the house will make for better living and attitudes!
We added the remote temp sensor to our bedroom and set it up to utilize it at bed time and shut off about 4am to help keep the 2nd floor cooler at night when the sun is down for an amazing sleep. The sensor did lose connection 3 times the first hour and I could not figure out why, so I deleted it and added it back to the thermostat again and has been fine since.
The Ecobee app has never been the best for Android, there is bugs almost always when adding new products but once it takes, the app works great. I have Ecobee door sensors, cameras and now this thermostat and all work fine within the app once the devices stay added permanently. This is a highly needed upgrade within the Ecobee atmosphere, proper working apps bring more customers, bad apps lose customers at a higher rate because reviews will kill a product and company.
So far 5 days in, I am really loving the look and the way it has made my home feel, better temps, air quality meter built in is nice to see, helps us realize bad smog days so we close the windows and turn on the air purifiers.
Ecobee hit a home run with this unit, just needs a little Android app polishing and they will be a top dog in the Home automation market.

Amazing Difference Over Last Mesh System

The Motorola AX1800 Mesh Wifi 6 System is no doubt a killer to other brands in the market. The reason for this is simply value and size of the units. What you get for the amount you spend is dollar for dollar the best WiFi 6 Mesh system I have tested and now use to date.
Packaging was nice and easy to open, everything in its place and ready to install within the house and setup in about 15 minutes. I placed one of the routers/repeaters on each level of my home in a staggered pattern to cover the most area possible. This was a perfect layout, being able to cover all devices with ease including all the security cameras outside and even my Hue lights with perfect connection no matter what.
The ease of setup utilizing the QR code on the bottom makes a quick scan and setup legitly take 2 to 3 minutes a device. The first unit is your base and then the next 1 or 2 and even more, are all setup as a repeater from the main unit. You can also wire them i to the system using a switch making each access point that much faster. I already had my home setup this way and testing speeds to my Plex server and home file server, the WiFi 6 is so fast, every test was 1gbps or faster, so setup either way will be extremey fast for WiFi 6 devices. I did test the 2 different setups for speed with older laptops and the wired through a switch is faster for older devices as there is a drop in signal quality when setup as WiFi repeaters over wired repeaters.
I was honestly worried about the app not working because of the reviews on Google Play about issues with it not connecting, being able to see devices and notifications not being seen. I can report on my Samsung S21 Ultra and Samsung Tab6 Tablet, the MotoSync app works flawlessly and has many options for setting up the devices with ease and a lot more features. The features in the app include but are not limited to the following, Individual Profiles, port forwarding, speed test, home filter, connection info and speeds, along with much more.
The ease of how the system works is the best and after 3 weeks solid, not one time has it shut off, reset, slowed down or anything. We have anywhere from 30 to 70 devices at any moment in this house trying to grab its WiFi signal needed. We are a family of 6, a home with tons of automation, every kid having their own TV, Nintendo Switch, XBox, Tablet, Phone and more, the WiFi systems always struggle in our home. The last Mesh system this replaced was almost 3 times the amount of money and performed about 30% of what the AX1800 setup from Motorola can do
I highly recommend the Motorola AX1800 system. If your home is 2 stories or a large Ranch, buy at minimum the 2 box setup, 3 is making my home a WiFi fortress.

CUBE is My New GPS Tracker of Choice.

The Cube Vehicle GPS Tracker is not just for cars, its for everything! I am currently using it in my enclosed trailer and plan on adding 2 more to my ATVs. The shear response the device gives when looking at features and quality, the Cube delivers flawlessly.
The Cube Tracker does have a 10 to 17 day battery life but I wanted to be able to leave in my trailer for months on end. I did this by purchasing a portable battery brick from Best Buy and after 7 days solid, I can report the battery is 100% in the Cube and the battery backup is at 98%. So, I should be able tp get an easy 3 months off a charge now at minimum and utilizimg the many app features, I get updared reports every 5 minutes unless it starts moving.
Yes, thats right, you have virtual fencing, time interval charges, and more. The virtual fencing is my favorite withy trailer becUse even when I move it past 200 ft out of my range I set, I am notified immediately. I love this because if I go to a hotel, I can set a new virtual fence so if the trailer moves outside the marked area on the map, instant notification and the tracking can be started.
There is accessories available as well for cars and trucks and even your pet. OBD2 port charging cables to collars, this is trulyva universal tracking device that actually works on a cell network along with GPS to always get the info you need to find your belongings.
The tracker is real accurate, within 25 ft outside everytime, most within 10. I did attach it to my dog for a run at the park and it kept up with her movement when I set to 1 minute intervals, pretty neat for finding a lost or loose dog.
The app is really easy to use and setup, having the tracker up and running in minutes once you choose your plan. Yes, there is a monthly fee but to have the security of knowing your big money items are safe or nore easily found is worth $20 a month all day long.
I am super happy with the Cube and plan on buying more along with telling friends and family.

The Razer Hanbo Chroma RGB AIO 240mm CPU Liquid Cooling System is one heck of a beast with a bunch of positives including on cold CPU but has a small drawback you will want to know about.
The Razer Hanbo setup I am reviewing is the 240mm setup, or the size of 2 fans. Razer does have a 360mm setup for $100 more and the only reasons you need it over the 240mm is filling up empty space in your case or you have $100 to look cooler. The 240mm setup is hands down enough as I was using a Mr Cool large radiator setup that is known to be a great budget cooler, if not the best available in my opinion for a non liquid setup.
I had my doubts installing the Razer Hanbo setup in my case because I spent hours with analizing the best cooling combo that I could afford while keeping my gaming computer under the $2000k mark especially with the CPU and GPU I chose, I had to be careful yet I wanted a computer that could handle a huge load and never get hot and throttle performance.
My PC is running SIM racing at least 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, it is heat cycled and used like I planned too so changing to the Hanbo, there had to be positive results or it was coming back off. Guess what, it is staying on my computer, no way will I remove it unless Razer wants to send me a 360mm unit so the case looks better with 2 fans. What I have thought about doing is ordering one fan to match the other 3 and mounting it with stud spacers to line up with the other 2 just for the uniformity factor.
The 240mm Hanbo setup is keeping my Ryzen 9 cool and the CPU has yet to be over 82* C at full rip running iRacing or ACC with a full rig setup utilizing a ton of extra software components I use for gauge layouts and more. The only downside is the fans at full rip can get very loud and you can adjust the ramp speed to lower that noise as long as you know your CPU is staying cool. The Razer Synapse program has a ton of features for controlling the lighting(especially the fire one, it is my favorite), fan, and pump speeds. The lighting options and features are sick and I really enjoy the full customization the Synapse program gives its users.
Installation was a breeze, if I did not have the other brand, it would have taken 10 minutes at most to install but I had to remove the Mr. Cool brackets and install the original brackets. The Pump has a real easy twist and go setup for the mounting of all processor types, making it so easy to change anyone with a tid bit of knowledge can figure it out. The unit comes with all the hardware you need, you will not be looking for anything or running to the computer store for screws or small bolts, it is ready to install.
The pump does come with thermal paste already on it, but, Razer could have put a warning label that it was already there, I did not notice and hit it with the plastic cover, so I had to remove it anyways so I could get a clean pad for new paste. Please make sure to note that when you install it, be careful of the thermal paste!
I am super happy with the Razer Hanbo, I will not change this setup anytime soon, it does the job for me but I have to give the one other negative besides the loud fan noise. The other issue is still the fan noise to be honest, and the reason it is an issue for me, my microphone picks up the noise and was very easy to pick up on stream that I had to move my PC and now it is not in the screen view while streaming, kinda makes me sad. I will get over it because the amount my CPU stays cooler is worth it, making sure I have many years of use out of an expensive processor.

Yes, A True Budget Set of Earbuds That Perform!

The JVC True Wireless Earbuds are one heck of a set of music listening bliss to my ears and my pocketbook. I have to say, for the retail price of the earbuds and the way they perform, you cannot get mad one bit at these. The fitment is great in my ears and my wife's, we were both very pleased in the way they feel while wearing the JVC True Wireless Earbuds.
The sound is clear, loud, and not overly bass driven, perfect for all ears, young to old. The highs are not tinny at all, mid-range is clear and bass is clean but not overbearing to your ear drums. I tried all types of music and every genre I listened too, I started liking these earbuds more and more and I did not think it was possible to compete with my $300 earbuds but boy was I wrong.
The touch controls work great, just a small learning curve to get the timing of the needed clicks down pat and after that, boom, you are set for hours of great use. Speaking of that, 3 8-hour shifts at work, not one time did I have the earbuds die. The charging case made it easy to throw them in my pocket and they were ready the next day. Charging time is decent from what I can tell but the time I charged it overnight, the next day my earbuds were still rocking at work.
The only downside and it is expected at this price point is the BT range. I am not able to walk away from my area to get more materials as far as the more expensive set, seems to be about 10 ft and they would start cutting out. As long as you have the phone or tablet with you, they will never drop out, they work flawlessly then.
I am super happy with the JVC True Wireless Earbuds, I plan to buy my 2 older kids a set as well instead of the cheapo ones at the budget store on every corner, at least these will work every time.

Decent Results But Could Be Much Better

The Snow Wireless Teeth Whitening System has good potential but will not be for all users due to the size of the unit which causes major issues with comfort. I have a wide bottom jaw bone so I was unable to really get the full benefit of the Snow System due to no width adjustment of the lightening unit. It was a nightly battle over the past 2 weeks of trying this out to hold the tray onto my teeth at time creating more discomfort and drool dripping out of my mouth than anything.
The whitening gel seems to still work without the lighted mouth tray pressed firmly to your teeth, I did see a little lightening, about one shade over 2 weeks. If Snow had developed the unit with a hinge in the center to give even about 4 mm of range, this would help create a product that is useful for many more consumers. At the cost of the whitening system compared to strips ready to use, they could have easily made the unit bigger with sizing trays or the hinge setup.
I did fight through the discomfort for 2 weeks of use after receiving the unit so I could try my best to give a honest review and being only 1 shade lower, I have seen better results with the strips. Yes, my shape of the mouth and the tray issue is mostly to blame but you as a consumer need to know that if you have a wide jaw/teeth line, you will not go about this without discomfort and a little aggravation with the snow lighted tray.
The storage tray is a neat positive to the Snow unit, keeping everything you need in one spot besides the charging cable. The setup looks great on the sink and everything is very easy to clean.
Right now my wife is trying the Snow system as it fits her mouth much better and after 3 days has already seen a shade lower in change. She did say holding the unit in her mouth is impossible as well though, it just slips around way too easy.
With all that said, if you want to try this, please do your research and possible see if Snow has a sizing chart or template before buying before you find out your mouth is too large as well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Philips Sonicare Keeping my Teeth and Gums Healthy

Philips Sonicare Power Flosser and Toothbrush System is an absolute deal and a complete system for you to keep your teeth and gums happy and healthy. I have had a week with the new 7000 series products and being an already end user of Sonicare products, I wanted to see the improvements Philips has made since 2018 when I purchased my last products.
The Toothbrush is great as I expected matching and honestly beating the 2018 version when it comes to the feel on my teeth. I feel that Philips changed the intensity of the vibration to a true 3 level system for low, medium and high. The picture I included shows the original on the left and new on the right. My original is hard to notice much difference between low, medium and high. The updated brush besides looking better, had a much more prominent difference between the 3 power levels.
Also, the 2022 version uses the same replacement head structure, which is great, because now my wife can have the old one an stock leaving my brush heads on the sink to fall on the floor.
The Power Flosser has a charging base for the toothbrush but due to my bathroom design, we do not have the counter space to keep the power flosser on top. Luckily, Philips includes another individual base to keep that brush charged daily and I must say, hats off to them for including that extra charging base, helps for traveling too.

The flosser is great, the white tipped cleaner is my favorite already, making sure my molars are clean of heavy foods before brushing and rinsing. The white tip on level 6 power gets pulled pork loose and I have yet to go over that power level. The clear tip also forces out heavy foods just as well as the other two, just no guard or tip protection like the other 2 included tips. The purple tip seems to work best for me on for the backside of my front teeth.
With the Power Flosser, here comes the main reason for the 4 stars and not the 5 it almost deserved. The base is great with the power connector under the unit and a cord routing channel as well. It is great but not perfect, meaning, here are the 2 reasons for the 4 stars. First, the wound up water carrying tube is horribly stiff, making me pull over the base 3 times in a week spilling water all over my feet. The tube does not flex or pull out easy and this is because they need it to stay its shape for storage as they picture. This makes the reach very hard for tall people like myself, in turn, makes me have to bend over to the point I cannot look in the mirror to see what I am doing. Secondly, the water container falls off so easy making it very frustrating when putting away or if you move wrong and it all of a sudden is no longer giving you water. Philips could easily fix this with a little latch or magnets.
Being a house that is old. our sinks are small, so I have to store this in the closet and every night for the past week, the top has fallen off when setting on the closet shelf, it is truly a frustrating design of the Power Flosser. The Power Flosser does make up for most of the hassle with its function and power, but, these 2 things keep it from a 5 star all day long in my house.
So, to finish out, here is some Pros and Cons to the Philips Sonicare 7000 series products.

So, if you have a nice place to store or a sink large enough to keep this on top all the time, this is a perfect fit and you will love the Philips 7000 Series Sonicare products. If you are like myself and have to store it every night, be ready for a little frustration with storage.

Love my Bose subwoofer

I already reviewed this product years ago and must say it is still working perfectly since 2018 and sounds amazing. The sub never misses a beat and is super loud if you want it to be. I love my Bose products and after all these years of daily abuse, the quality shows.

I love these headphones! I must say the second variant of the Bose Q35's are almost the best headphones I have ever used.
First off, the addition of the Google Assistant button was in my eyes the best idea they could have came up with. It was a tad buggy until I did the firmware update. I love the way it reads notifications and reads back to me texts.
The pairing of the headphones were seamless on my Android, only took seconds and had them working.
Sound is the only lacking issue for me, they are typical Bose sound but with a lot less bass than normal. I would have liked to see the amount of bass like the first series.
Battery life is top notch, 2 full 9 hour work days and didn't miss a beat. Charging is quick, only takes a few hours to fully charge.
Thanks Bose for creating a very nice set of headphones, I enjoy all my Bose products.

This is a copy of my original review submitted 4 years ago and I still use these headphones today. I have only replaced the foam cups once and the still hold an 8 hour charge. I have upgraded this from 4 to 5 stars!

The Wasserstein Floodlight is one stout unit and Bright, not day time bright but dang near. I setup the unit in my back yard to record the garge entry plus my Husky's area. My dog is in love with this light at night, she runs around like crazy now at night instead of hiding on the porch.
On to the product itself, packing is nice and includes all the hardware for install, no running to the hardware store unless you do not already have a light fixture, i replaced an old 20w bulb fixture with this one.
Install was super easy and the design makes it so fast to install, in 20 degrees during the big snow storm I was able to install it in legitly 15 minutes. You are probably wondering why I didnt wait, all I have to say is 4 girls that play sports, i dont have many free days.
The camera now stay easily charged and the lights helpbsee everything at night, and I mean everything. The sensetivity is great, to the point an ant farts and it turns on.
My wife and I really like the looks of the product as well, we plan on adding another to the driveway as well buy may look for a darker color so it blends in if they have one availabile.
Also, almost forgot to mention, the lights have really nice articulating design, pointing them werenyou need and want. And for securing the camera, the Wasserstein Floodlight has a built in security cable. To be honest, i could cut it in 2 seconds if I really wanted that camera, so mount it high like and other camera setup.
I am really liking the products from Wasserstein, I now have mulitple and all have been great products.
