I bought this set because it contained every episode and season of Friends. It's a nice looking box set and the price was really good compared to buying each season individually. My only beef with the set is that it does not contain the extended versions of the episode and only has the broadcast ones, I probably should have read the description to check but I just assumed a complete series collection would contain the full true episodes. This is a minor complaint but it should be noted if that's what people are looking for. The collection brings me back to my teenage days of watching friends and reliving the fun of the show.

I am a Covid-19 survivor and need to track oxygen saturation, heart rate and how well I'm sleeping. This device does O2 and BMP in real-time; unlike another brand I tried. It records O2, BMP high and low over a 24-hour period - not minute-by-minute but hourly. I chose GPS version and use it with iPhone XR to receive and place calls, make or read messages and so much more. While used in conjunction with Health and Loseit! apps, I'm gently reminded to exercise and easily track how well I'm eating and exercising. Since I'm on the road often, it's easy to eat high carb foods while being inactive and this watch and these apps have opened my eyes to better eating and being physically more active; I'm feeling better and losing weight. "Christian Movies" have come a long way in the last few decades. A LOOOOONG way. As a Believer, I was captured by the fact that it is based on a real life situation. I don't know how "close" it follows the actual story. My sense is...pretty closely. Nobody does Miracles like God, so I'll leave that part to Him. All I'll say is- Go see it. Miracles happen all the time, but few make it to the news and even fewer to the Big Screen. We are fed a steady stream of bad news and it's refreshing to see a movie like this one AND see it do as well as it is. Wow! Guess I'm not the only one who wants to see more "Good News" than bad. Go see it. Take your family and your friends. Movies like this one need our support and I believe that the success this movie is built on is forcing "hollywood" to make more Faith based movies that we can all attend! No big special effects or mind-numbing music. Just a good story about a great Miracle from God!

This was the film that, for me, marked Tim Burton’s leap from very talented young director, to one of the best most unique film voices of our time, along with Johnny Depp’s leap from very talented young actor to one of our best actors, period. What Depp and Burton seem to share is an understanding of the visual power of film, but not just with cinematography and effects, but in performance. Depp is almost like a great silent film star, communicating more with his eyes, than most actors could with a monologue.
This is the surreal fable of a young man who was built, not born, and whose creator dies before he can finish him, leaving him alone, with scissors for hands. He’s found and adopted by a sweet, if slightly daffy Avon lady – Diane Weist in another of an endless series of brilliant supporting performances. She takes young orphan Edward down from the near black and white castle in which the lives to the bright pastel world of the suburban town below. (A world almost as surreal in it’s exaggerated way as his lonely castle.
There the outcast finds a place, and maybe even love, but is there really room for the truly different in our society? A film in which everything is bigger than life, but infused with heart and the bitter-sweetness of life itself. It brings a smile to my face, and tears to my eyes on every viewing.

Oh...my...GOD! I had sense of what this movie was going to be like going in, but wow! I was not prepared. Not even a little. The Joker has no definitive origin, but this one is quite possibly his best. Wonderfully enough, homage is paid to most live-action incarnations of the Joker throughout in very subtle, yet gratifying ways. To keep it spoiler-free, I will say that Joaquin Phoenix absolutely delivered. Every supporting character no matter how big or small delivered powerhouse performances. The music (songs and score) were so organic and added so much to the film. This is what all movies, comic book or otherwise, should strive for. Brilliant direction, brilliant acting, and a movie that will absolutely stay with you long after the credits roll.

Given that it was an M. Night movie, I was pretty torn about whether or not to watch this because I haven't liked anything of his since The Sixth Sense (I haven't yet seen Split, but I've heard really good things about it). Plus, the reviews seem to be split down the middle with people either loving it or hating it. But the trailers had stayed in my mind all these years, so I thought I'd finally just watch it.
I really, really enjoyed it! I thought the twist was great and I did not see it coming. It's marketed as a horror film, but aside from general creepiness, it's not a horror film. But if you have the time and like weird films, you should check it out!

My wife and I have loved this movie since it first came out. It's one of those movies where if you flip past it on TV we'll stop and watch the rest. We still do "spirit fingers" at each other. Yeah, it's sad. I know. ;)
I feel like it still holds up pretty well. We just introduced our daughter to it and she likes it as well. I wasn't so into the sequels, but definitely still love this one.

Let me start by saying I'm not a fan of slasher films. I am a fan of unconventional films. So slasher meets Groundhog Day works well for my unconventional needs. It's not really horror, it's more of a comedy. Got plenty of laughs.
They first twist was a bit of a let down, I won't spoil it, but there was a reason for it.
There is opportunity to figure out who the killer is if you know what to look for.

A Colorful & Surreal Dream

Dick Tracy plays out like a vibrant and surreal dream, the kind that you don't want to end. Released by Disney owned 'Touchstone Pictures', the film feels akin to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (also released by Touchstone two years prior) and perfectly captures the cartoon-like, pulpy comic strip nature of Chester Gould's source material.
Among other things, Dick Tracy showcased the absolute mastery of a practical FX technique that is now all but forgotten, the traditional matte painting. The concept behind using matte paintings is that a group of artist would paint a background on a large piece of glass. The background would be something that could not be easily found or built, and would then be combined with the live action counterparts and filmed. More than half of the scenes in this movie use a matte painting, some obvious, some less so, but all contribute to the creation of the neon 'Tracytown'.
Another stand out in this film is of course the incredible use of make-up and prosthetics to alter the look of every actor who portrayed a villain in the film (of which there were many). This is something that may pass over you if you don't understand that these techniques were specifically used to recreate the way these characters looked in the original comic strips from the 1930's and 40's.
For someone like me who grew up watching Dick Tracy on VHS, seeing it in all it's effervescent glory on blu-ray is a real treat.

After Endgame, I wondered what could be next and this movie definitely didn't disappoint! I love superhero movies that, even though they're still fantastical and obviously fictitious, explain themselves and aren't so fantastical that they're completely unbelievable. This one fit that bill to a "T". At first I wasn't sure about Mysterio and I knew that there had to be a catch and when he showed his true colors it made me like him a lot! I have to admit: I LOVE Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Holland and I'd probably watch them in anything at least once, but I'm so glad I've purchased this and will definitely watch it again and again! Another thing: I'm pleasantly surprised by Zendaya's character development and acting chops! She's not a damsel in distress like Kirsten Dunst was in the last Spider-Man trilogy (sorry, didn't even bother with the last set made with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone) and the relationship between her and Tom Holland seems plausible and like a match made in reality, but not "in heaven" (i.e. perfect and squeaky clean). Gah. Just watch this movie. You won't be sorry!
