A field trip to Europe with his classmates was supposed to provide Peter Parker (Tom Holland) with a well-earned respite from his superhero alter-ego of Spider-Man. But when he's recruited by superspy Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), Spidey is soon back on the job and teaming up with the InchMysterioInch-us Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal)-apparently a hero from an alternate universe-for a dangerous mission that may not be what it appears. Zendaya, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei co-star in this fun-filled Marvel sequel.

After Endgame, I wondered what could be next and this movie definitely didn't disappoint! I love superhero movies that, even though they're still fantastical and obviously fictitious, explain themselves and aren't so fantastical that they're completely unbelievable. This one fit that bill to a "T". At first I wasn't sure about Mysterio and I knew that there had to be a catch and when he showed his true colors it made me like him a lot! I have to admit: I LOVE Jake Gyllenhaal and Tom Holland and I'd probably watch them in anything at least once, but I'm so glad I've purchased this and will definitely watch it again and again! Another thing: I'm pleasantly surprised by Zendaya's character development and acting chops! She's not a damsel in distress like Kirsten Dunst was in the last Spider-Man trilogy (sorry, didn't even bother with the last set made with Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone) and the relationship between her and Tom Holland seems plausible and like a match made in reality, but not "in heaven" (i.e. perfect and squeaky clean). Gah. Just watch this movie. You won't be sorry!

Told from a Russian Jewish mouse immigrant perspective, we follow the adventures and misadventures of Feivel and his family, as he is exposed to the glories and seemier underside of American culture and the American immigrant perspective as they seek a promised land with no cats.
The story kind of meanders here and there, and isn't too cohesive, but it's still a good watch as we see Don Bluth bring a Spielberg production to life. And the main character, young Feivel, really is an adorable mouse, rivaling Mickey of Disney fame and Jerry of MGM notoriety.
I love animation, but I typically don't like child oriented or so-called "family" fare where the story is meant strictly for young kids, but this film is kind of endearing on all levels, and because it isn't the ultra clean fare so accustomed to being given to children and their parents for entertainment. It gives the spirit of what it must have been like to be an immigrant in late 18th century or early 20th century America, and does so by showing us the grittiness of the environment and surroundings without being explicit in nature to keep the film family and child friendly.
And that's the real magic of this film. It can get down to brass tax of the hardships and still tell a rather endearing story with Don Bluth's usual high caliber film making techniques. And the message at the end of the film is heart warming.
Don Bluth really is a magician when it comes to animation. The man is an absolute sorcerer when it comes to conjuring animated magic on screen. Check out "An American Tail". Good value for money.

What can I say about Robots? Everyone loves Robin Williams, Mel Brooks, Halle Berry, Ewan McGregor, etc. There are a lot of big name stars whose voices are used. A lot of them you can recognize by just hearing them. Some of them, you have to wait until you see the credits at the end. Then, you just want to watch it again. It's a really cute movie with a good lesson for kids (like all good kid stories). But it's not just for kids. My husband and I watch it all the time, and we don't have any kids at home. It's a lot of fun to watch. If you want to watch a movie that just takes you away from all of today's problems and seriousness, this is the one.

"Ferngully" spins the tale of a rainforest full of colorful characters. The forest is filled with animal inhabitants and magical fairies, all living in complete happiness and harmony with nature. However, that happiness becomes threatened by pollution and a dark evil from the past. Now, the entire forest must band together to save Ferngully along with some new friends. Big time talent for the voice acting in this one (the late, great Robin Williams and Christian Slater just to name a few). This one is family friendly and great fun to watch. I recommend it!

Arachnophobia is a stellar thriller that's scary, hilarious, smart and thoroughly exciting. Very well made with a terrific cast. Jeff Daniels is great in the lead role and John Goodman steals the show whenever he's on screen. Julian Sands is excellent as the spider expert as well. This movie is pure fun. Even if you hate spiders I'm pretty sure you will have a blast. It's an A list creature feature.

Princess Jasmine is beautiful and feisty. Aladdin is handsome and earnest. The sets are sumptuous and just gorgeous. Special effects very well done. Scene stealers are the magic carpet, Abu the monkey and Jafar's parrot, Iagoo. Jafar the evil vizier was not quite as evil as I think he should have been. The genie - well, Will Smith (who is only blue when he comes out the lamp) did a great job. Not quite Robin Williams but he filled those gold pointy slippers. The story is formulaic of course and predictable but just beautifully done and it's a lovely treat for nostalgia fans and for kids who are new to the story. The script writers did a great job of setting the story, who tells it and how and why. Well done there. Only one fatal instance of "Are you okay?" I mean.... please! "Okay" in ancient Arabia? I would say 4.5 but only because Will Smith isn't Robin Williams.

I almost skipped this movie because I heard it was terrible from both critics and reviewers. I decided to just go and see it and what do you know? I ended up enjoying it very much. I haven’t liked an MIB movie this much since the original one. I really thought that that the sequels to the original with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were weak and uninspired whereas this actually does breathe life back into the franchise and has a great plot, great acting, great action, and great chemistry between the characters. Chris Hemsworth and the woman agent who played Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnorok are great together and Emma Thompson and Liam Neeson are exceptional in their respective roles. The alien sidekick is hilarious and awesome and adds to the movie instead of coming off as hokey. The story is really well thought out and was very entertaining; it had elements of humor and serious elements that balanced out very well. I enjoyed this much more than the sequels to the first one and I hope they make more of these with this cast because this reboot proved that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones were not what made the franchise, it was the writing; I’m glad they stopped following formula and actually wrote a cool story this time around. Don’t listen to all the cynical critics and reviewers, and see this with and open mind. MIB international is the kick in the butt this franchise needed!!!

This show is about a family that we can all relate to as it is just an American family. It delves into each character in the series that will bring the hardest person to tears. The story goes back in time to show the history of everyone. It touches on nearly every facet of their lives.

I'm not going to give you a plot synopsis or tell you anything about any scene in the movie.
If you're reading a review of Avengers: Endgame, and you haven't been in a coma for 10 years, you have some idea of what this movie is about and who's involved.
If you've been following the entire Marvel Movie saga from Iron Man up until Infinity War, and have seen every episode that has links to the Infinity War saga (Fantastic 4 (original with Chris Evans and the remake without) and X-Men never did, so we're not counting those here), and you've been trying to avoid Endgame spoilers everywhere you go because you didn't go see it in theaters (don't feel bad - I didn't either), all you need to know is this:
In its opening weekend, it made 1.2 billion dollars. Billion. With a "B". Anywhere from 1/2 to 1/3 of that was due to REPEAT VIEWERS. People who paid to watch it again, and sometimes again, and even again in some cases.
Now, you can either take that to mean there are a lot of nerds with disposable income, or you can take it to mean it actually EARNED 1.2 BILLION U.S. DOLLARS in a 3-day period. You know who else makes money that fast? Petroleum companies and banks.
Stop reading reviews, and buy - buy this movie. You will not be disappointed.

If you love all of the “Conjuring” movies and the Legendary “Drag me to Hell”…then you WILL love this movie!
Please (DO) ignore ALL the negative reviews, because they sure don’t know what in the HELL they are talking about and they are mostly unfounded.
This will be a real quick review folks…I love how the producers of this movie get to the point real quick. There are really NO dry or boring areas in this movie at ALL! The movie has action, suspense, and build up. The story explains itself very well and ties up all facts to bring you to the MOST EPIC ending I have ever seen in a movie of this type… which really impressed me the most. The producers did not beat around the bush or give you some ridiculous love interest or teenage summertime trash…they got right to the point with HIGH-END (CGI) effects. In closing, I will add this small fact, the movie was very SCARY and it will play on your mind and really make you stop and think…scary stuff soooo WATCH OUT!
The Blu-ray quality was so beautiful, with rich high-end ATMOS sound effects!
