Love the artwork with the steelbook's on these, anb the movies all look better than ever, even with them being technically uprezzed from 2K master file. The new HDR video master POPS all the colors, and the Atmos sound mix gets the most out of them, even if you have to turn it up a few notches higher than typically, cause how Disney masters things.

Excellent release of a Pixar Classic

Best Streaming Device Yet

I've had Roku, Amazon Firestick, smart devices etc, this Apple 4K TV is by far my favorite thus far. The quality, consistency, features and general ability to sync up with my Apple devices (can actually watch my iTunes purchases on here) made it perfect for us. Even my wife loves it.

Great WWII SS Soldier Zombie Action Flick

There probably isn't a more under appreciated sub genre than the SS Soldier Zombie genre BB won't let me say the OTHER name for the German party during this war). This film takes the WWII elements seriously, and thus you take it seriously when they run into some German experiments run amok.
If you have a Dolby Atmos setup, you're going to LOVE this, cause it has some of the best atmospheric surround sound since MAD MAX FURY ROAD, especially in the first 10 minutes or so. Visually, the HDR 4K image is good but doesn't blow you away like the sound mix.

Needed a decent sized cat5 cable to run some internet at a gig at a hotel, and then have since used it to run direct internet into the Playstation 4. Works great!

Exactly what I needed

My old bluray burner had seen better days and was giving me a lot of disc errors. This one is a good price and does exactly what it's supposed to. I do a lot of 100GB XL disc burning for archival purposes, and this does them in over 2x the speed of my old burner.

I was once a skater preteen and teen in the 90's, and so this film had me seeing a lot of younger me, or friends I knew, at various times. A first half that looks to bring in a nostalgia for that time goes into a second half that will remind you of some of the life decisions you made and how we're lucky we got out alive.
It's shot in 4:3 academy ratio, so that is what it is, but the 16mm look feels right for the film, and the audio mix is nice but nothing to write home about - not that it needs to be.

I'm not sure you could watch Eighth Grade and not find yourself attached to a moment or character that reminds you of your own jr high days. A sometimes tough, always realistic portrayal of a strange time we all go through, it also is a great depiction of how social media can effect things.
Bluray looks and sounds great, though it's just a little indie film so it's not like it's gonna be a demo disc.

Another slam bang Sony 4K release

Say what you will about the company itself, but Sony's back catalogue remastering and restoration folks know how to do it. Cliffhanger has never looked anywhere near this good, and the new Dolby Atmos soundtrack will light up your system big time if you're hooked up with atmospheric Atmos audio.
Also, just a sidebar, I like that they're using original poster art for most of their 4K releases.
