Awesome 4K Upgrade. Picture and sound quality is greatly enhanced by the HDR Upgrade, especially with the Guy Ritchie aesthetic of filmmaking. Further the soundtrack really shines with this sound Upgrade when utilizing a surround sound system.

Such a great 4K updgrade. Opinions on Zack Snyder films are quite diverse, but his style and aesthetic lends itself greatly to the 4K HDR upgrade as the colors and style look much sharper and more vibrant.
The special features are the same as the original release, so nothing really new there unfortunately.

If you’re a DC Comics fan or even if you’ve only ever seen the animated movie Batman: Under the Red Hood, this is a great partnering movie. Not only does is masterfully full in story gaps to show more of the prequel story “Death of the Family” to fall more in line with the Comics, but it’s also a really unique feature to let the viewer craft out the narrative of the story. You get multiple different story paths and endings, making this be hours of entertainment. It’s also great to get the other DC Animated Shorts which further adds to the runtime of entertainment value.

Overall, this set is pretty satisfying as the upgrades in video and audio transfers are beautifully done.
Minuses: the special features are pretty much the exact same from past releases and I’m REALLY not a fan of releases with the sleeve holders. It makes getting this discs out extremely difficult without scratching or getting your fingerprints all over them

Depending on who you ask, Gremlims 2 is arguably as good or perhaps better than the original in some ways. It definitely goes over the top, which I think really plays into what makes it SO good. This release also comes packed with special features, so if you’re a fan of the film, this is a must-own.

The Best in The Franchise

I think most will agree that Empire Strikes Back is hands down the greatest film in the Star Wars franchise to date. Filled with great special effects, a beautiful score that first introduced the now famous Imperial March, and character arcs that still shake audiences to their core as this was the first time we ever saw heroes lose.
With that said, the 4K transfer of this film is gorgeous and presents the film in the greatest format it’s ever seen. While the special features of this release are identical to past releases, the 4K Upgrade makes this with the investment.
My only complaint is that I wish they’d also included the original, unaltered version of the movie as it was originally released in theaters before George Lucas did the special edition version with the added cgi and digital effects.
