If you’re a fan of movies based on true stories, this is a must-see. With outstanding performances from Mark Ruffalo and Tim Robbins, as well as the rest of the cast, this movie really stands out as a great film.
If you’re familiar with the story, the film does a good job at balancing the real world events with tense character drama in everything from the actual case being built but also the family drama.
I would definitely recommend picking this film up and adding to your collection.

This is easily the best comic book based tv series since the first season of Daredevil. If you’ve read Alan Moore’s run of Swamp Thing comics, this is what you’ve been waiting for!!
With an equal balance of true horror elements and loyalty to the comic book source material, James Wan brings us an incredible take on Swamp Thing. With an amazing cast and stellar practical and visual effects, this series is captivating from start to finish. The most impressive part is how they bring Swamp Thing to life.
If you don’t have the DC Universe streaming service, this is a must own because I would say you don’t have to be a comic book fan to like this.

Whether you’re a fan of racing or not, Ford v Ferrari has something for everyone. The rich characters, compelling dialogue, and loyalty to the true story and world of racing provides a great film that can be enjoyed by the most ardent racing enthusiasts and audiences who’ve never even heard of Le Mans.
Packed with over 2 hours of special features, this set comes packed with tons of background on the making of the film and the story of how the film came to be after spending several years in development.
Seeing the film on 4K is a treat, but the best component is the sound. If you have a proper sound setup, the engines and racing sound effects will never cease to wow you. Definitely worth adding to your collection!!

An Outstanding Sequel

Doctor Sleep had a lot to live up to both from fans of the book and fans of the original Kubrick film. And much like Blade Runner 2049, Doctor Sleep operates brilliantly as both a sequel to the original and as a stand-alone film that you could watch and enjoy without ever having seen the first one.
With a host of special features including an extended Director’s Cut of the film, this set is a must-own for any fan of The Shining or Stephen King properties in general. This movie truly lives up to the greatness of its predecessor and delivers dynamic performances from everyone in the cast and an epic conclusion for several of the characters that many have us have spent decades wondering “what happened to them AFTER the Overlook Hotel?”
This film looks gorgeous in 4K and the sound design especially benefits from the Dolby treatment, especially the film score. This set is DEFINITELY worth the purchase!!

More of the same, but a worthy installment

When you go into a Terminator film, you have to make peace with the fact that the story potential doesn’t have much (if any) flexibility. Much like any superhero movie, you’re inevitably going to be watching the same story retold again and again with either different characters, different actors, or both.
Terminator Dark Fate proves this through recycled story elements from T1 & T2, but makes a noble effort to present enough new characters that audiences can get invested in to give the franchise a fresh start for an existing and also new audiences.
The movie isn’t bad by any means and can be enjoyed for what it is by long time fans, but is overall just “meh”. With that said, seeing this film and the action set pieces in 4K is absolutely gorgeous. Paired with hours of special features, this is a must own for all Terminator fans.
You also get a free digital redemption code and a regular blu ray disc included.

If you fancy yourself an action movie fan on any level or a Schwarzenegger fan, then you really have to have this 2-Movie set. These were not only the films that catapulted Arnold’s career, but still stand the test of time as true action classics.
With a dynamic score, thrilling in-camera action sequences, and gorgeous production design, you really feel like you’re transported to another world. They really just don’t make movies like this anymore!
Add to this the awesome special features which provide great insights into the making of the movies and their legacy in cinema!

A Great Remake

This movie often gets a lot of flack because I think people weren’t willing to see anyone else other than Arnold in the role of Conan. But with the recent rise of Jason Momoa, it’s worth revisiting as this movie actually holds very true to the original Comics the character is based on.
I will always be a lover of the original Conan movies with Arnold Schwarzenegger, but this film is a bit more polished, with more dynamic action sequences and moments that feel like they’re pulled right out of the comic.
This is a pretty standard rerelease of the original blu ray, but I’d you don’t already own this, then the upgrade in picture quality and attractive price point makes this a worthy addition to your collection if you’re a fan of the originals!

When people think of 80’s action movies, you can’t NOT think of Arnold. But Red Heat seems to be that movie that people sometimes forget about.
While this movie has all the earmarks of your standard action movie, the pairing of Schwarzenegger and Belushi is a combination that strangely works extremely well. I wouldn’t call this a guilty pleasure as I find it truly an enjoyable movie to watch.
With a massive host of special features and behind the scenes making ofs, this is a perfect set for any fans of the film. Paired with the vastly improved picture quality and affordable price, this is well worth adding to your collection of you don’t have it already!!

Great Nostalgic Trilogy

The 80’s were a booming time for action movies, especially cop action movies. While many of them had witty characters with bits of humor, none rose to the level of what Eddie Murphy achieved as Axel Foley.
While the third movie isn’t all that great, having the full trilogy in one blu ray set is fantastic! The newly added special features for the first film are wholly enjoyable and give a fun look back at one of our favorite movies.
This is a great set for any action movie fan and you certainly cannot beat the price!!

A good buy in time for the new film

Growing up I’m the ‘90s, Bad Boys was a go-action classic for its action and witty banter between characters. Nearly 10 years later, they released the sequel which continued with what worked and dialed up the action quotient.
I think if you’re a fan of the franchise, this is a worthy set to own. You get the films on 4K UHD plus the regular blu ray dics. Some may be disappointed that there are no new special features from the original blu Rays. It’s pretty much a repackaging if the original release.
If you don’t own these movies already but remember them fondly, this is a good set to pick up for a good price.
