OK, this was not something I really needed since I already had a 26" monitor that was only a couple of years old. However, when I saw this product, I had to give it a try.
I use this monitor in my home office, so it is used exclusively for work, so I can't speak to whether it would be good for gaming or not. That being said, I can't imagine the awesome field of vision would be a bad thing if you were to use it for that. With this wide screen, it can easily have two of three apps side by side and still be able to read each one easily. It works really well for comparing documents and spreadsheets.
I have a similar 34" monitor at work, but that one is curved, whereas this one is flat. Since I have tried both, I prefer the curved display as it 'surrounds' you, while the flat one does require more head turning to see from one side of the screen to the other. Not a deal breaker and may be more personal preference since I am used to the curve now.
Overall, love the wide screen and would recommend it.

I've been using the LG soundbar for about two weeks now and would recommend this product. One minor glitch, but fixed itself after a restart (see below).
The setup was very easy, via the optical cable provided to my Vizio TV. It took about 5 minutes from the time it was out of the box to get it working. The bass speaker connected wirelessly to the sound bar without any issues. The only issue I had was that the first time I turned it on, I couldn't control the volume on the speaker with my TV remote. After fiddling with it for a few minutes and restarting the TV and speakers, everything worked properly.
The sound quality is very good...better than I was expecting due to relatively small size (this is my first sound bar). I really like the bass on these speakers...it shakes the room if you put it high enough.
Overall, very good product that performs better than I had expected.

I really liked the features of this smart lock: randomized number pad, finger print option, etc. However, I ran into some issues with installation.
This lock has a pretty big footprint (same as most other smart locks), which is the issue I ran into. The door I planned to install this lock on has a deadbolt which gets in the way of installing the unit. I already had a different smart lock on my front door, so I removed that one to test out this unit.
Installation isn't much more complicated than a normal lock, but will take a little more time to configure after it is installed.
I like all the features this lock comes with. It is relatively intuitive to use and provides finger print and randomizes the location of numbers so people can't determine a code by looking at worn out buttons. The app is straightforward to use also.
Overall, I recommend this lock, just make sure you don't have a deadbolt on the door you plan to install it on.

I got this TV for my home office and it does a good job in that role. I don't expect this TV to be where I watch sports or sit down for a movie night. This one will be to watch financial or news updates while I am working at my computer. Having this as my goal, I feel this TV will perform well in that role. If you are expecting a great picture and tons of features, you might be disappointed.
Setup was quick and on-screen instructions were easy to follow. The first step was connecting it to my network and then connecting to my YouTube TV account. The controls on the remote are intuitive and it took less than 10 minutes to setup the TV, apps and picture. I will need to spend a little more time adjusting the picture to my liking, but that isn't a high priority since it is good enough for now.
As I alluded to above, the picture is OK, not great. When I watched some sports on the screen, I could see some slight blurring around fast moving objects. The screen is bright and there are a lot of picture settings that I will play with to try to improve the picture, but out of the box, it performs well for the price.
Overall, I would recommend this as a low-end television. It's easy to setup and has someof smart features that I haven't tested yet (Alexa integration for example). I have a higher end TV for sports, movies or any other 'family' type of viewing. As an office TV, this will do the job just fine.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I replaced my existing ARRIS cable modem and ASUS wifi router with this high speed ARRIS Surfboard combo and was surprised by the improvement. I was not expecting a big increase in performance, assuming that it would be limited by the cable provider, but after testing, the overall throughput increased by about 20-30%.
In terms of setup, it was very straight-forward, with easy to follow directions. I did some prep work, such as downloading the iPhone app and checking with my provider (Spectrum) if I needed to call them up to switch the cable modem (yes). It only took about 5 minutes on the phone with Spectrum to get the new HMAC added to the system and another few minutes for the router to reboot and start working.
I recreated my SSID and password and all my IoT devices started reconnecting to the network without any issues. The only one that I had a problem with was the garage door, which took a day to get back online.
The only gripe I have with the setup was that it tells you to connect your laptop via a wire to the router to perform the setup. I'm not sure about everyone else, but I haven't had a laptop with an ethernet port in over 5 years. I used the wireless connection, which wasn't clearly stated as an option to start the setup. They list how to setup wireless later in the document, but not in the initial setup section.
Overall, really enjoying the improvement over my 3 year old equipment.

I've been using this trimmer for about a month now and it performs the job well. There isn't much to say about a trimmer, but I'll try to give some details below.
First, it comes with multiple attachments for different length of beard or hair. Changing from one attachment to another is easy and self explanatory. You then dial in the length of the cut (I believe it is the standard barbershop lengths), and then shave. It's that easy.
One nice feature on this one is the hair collector. It says it will capture 90% of the trimmings and it did better than that on my usage. This won't work if you are trimming a lot of hair, but for a little stubble, it keeps the counters clean.
Overall, I recommend this trimmer.

We've been using this coffee maker for about a month and we really like it, but there are a few improvements that could make it better.
Some of the things we love about the product are:
- Easy to setup
- Cleaning is very easy and parts can easily fit in dishwasher
- Doesn't need paper filters
- Stays hot for up to four hours
Things that could be improved:
- If you fill to 12 cups, it is right to the brim so you have to be careful not to spill
- Not 1-button start, need to turn on and hit start
- Would be nice to have backlit buttons
None of the items above are show-stoppers, or even major annoyances, but little things that could improve it in the future. The timer works as expected to have a hot cup of joe ready in the morning.
Overall, we like the Ninja Coffee Maker and would recommend it to others.

The Bose Smart Speaker 500 delivers wall-to-wall stereo sound from a single wireless smart speaker. Built-in voice control from Amazon Alexa puts songs, playlists, and more at the tip of your tongue. And you have the freedom to control the music your way - with your voice, with a tap on the top controls, or with the Bose app.

I received the Bose Home Speaker 500 in November and setup via Bluetooth with my phone relatively easily. The sound was great...for about 5 minutes, that's when I downloaded the app from iTunes and tried to complete the setup in the app. I couldn't get the app to work and the speaker stopped making any sound. Tried everything I could think of, but no sound from that point forward. Seemed like the speaker was receiving the input from the app or Bluetooth since it was showing album art or paging through the menus, but the speaker was silent.
I ended up contacting BestBuy and they got me in touch with Bose who replaced the speaker for me. I was impressed with their customer service and the speed to get the new speaker delivered.
I've had no issues with the second speaker. The app isn't the greatest, but it gets the job done. Music sounds incredible on this speaker...feels like you have 4-5 speakers in the room. Even at full blast, the audio comes through clearly.
I have this connected to my TV (via RCA to 3.5mm cable), which it is not designed for, but I didn't want to buy a separate soundbar. The TV audio comes across clearly and fills the room with sound. As I mentioned, it isn't designed for this so you can't leverage the TV remote to change the volume (I use the app), so if you want a seamless experience, buy a soundbar, but this works for me.
I have owned multiple Bose products throughout the years and this product has that same exceptional audio that I've come to expect from them. I would recommend this.

Our old vacuum's motor started to make some noises so we determined it was time to get something new. I wanted to get something a little easier to maneuver to make it easier to clean sofas and rugs so we decided to get this Shark stick vacuum.
Getting the vacuum out of the box and setup took all of 5 minutes and it took that long because I wanted to make sure I didn't miss anything because it was too easy. Connect the stick to the motor on one end and the cleaner head on the other and you are all done.
This comes with an attachment clip and a couple of attachments. Very self-explanatory, which is a good thing since the instructions don't show you how to use them.
We vacuumed a rug and the living room with the old vacuum and then did it again with the Shark. The amount of dirt that it picked up was surprising since it was just vacuumed. We dog sit for our daughter's dogs a couple of times a week and this one picked up a lot of hair missed by our old vacuum.
One thing that annoys me is when products are shipped without all the necessary parts to complete the setup. There is a wall mount provided; however, they don't provide screws or anchors to install them.
Other than that, this vacuum does what it is designed to do. It cleans carpeted floors, rugs, and upholstery very well and I would recommend it.

Over the past 5 years I have owned over a dozen pairs of Bluetooth sport headphones and these are the best overall headphones that I have used. These came with numerous ear plug types to fit just about any person. I have never been able to find an ear plug that actually fit my ears so I tried all of the options and found one that was comfortable and stayed in my ear. The ear hooks fit snuggly and keep the headphones in place.
What I like about these headphones is that there is no cable. The right headphone connects to the Bluetooth device and also to the left headphone. The headset does not move while running or doing other activities (crunches for example), which has always been a problem with my previous headsets.
I haven't run the batteries down yet since I haven't used them for more than three hours at a time. When you put the headphones back into the case, it automatically recharges the device so you never run it dry. I believe it is supposed to last at least 5 hours so I'll have to try that out down the road. The case comes with a built-in USB cable and should fully charge the phones at least 5-10 times before you need to recharge the case.
All is not perfect with these headphones though. The first time I used them, there were three times that the right and left headphones disconnected for a split second. However, over the past two weeks that has only happened one more time. The only other thing that isn't great about the headphones is the controls on each head phone is confusing and hasn't worked well in my testing. To lower the volume, you touch the center of the left earphone and the right to raise the volume. Two touches does something else and three touches does another thing. This is not only confusing, but it doesn't work that well. It hasn't been an issue since it is really easy to just use my phone to do the same thing.
Overall, these headphones sound good, fit well, and stay in place for your workout.

Is it possible to have a separate modem for gaming on a PS4 system, than the modem that I already have set up for the rest of the household? I have satellite Internet service, and unfortunately there is considerable lag.

If you mean setting up a separate cable modem, my guess is you would have to pay for a separate incoming service for that modem. Your bandwidth issues are probably due to the satellite connection limitations.

If you mean setting up a separate router (for wifi or ethernet connection), you can do it, but you would still be limited by the incoming satellite connection.

Hope this helps.

Fitbit - Charge HR Heart Rate and Activity Tracker + Sleep Wristband (Large) - Black
Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Heart Rate + Activity Wristband: This heart rate and activity tracking wristband is built to capture your movements and health patterns all day long. Easily monitor your heart rate so you can maximize your workouts, learn about your sleep quality and monitor progress on your goals.

Can two different persons use the same fitbit charge HR?

Multiple people can wear it, but you wouldn't be able to separate the data unless you setup the device every time you switch users. That would seem to be quite a lot of overhead and probably isn't an option for the long term.

I would say you need one device per person to make it usable.
